Governance is the hugest joke in Nigeria. They announce their impending run down policies and observe the mood of the masses before deciding on whether to finalize or discard their selfish policies. its the same story.

SalamRushdie:
I am not a fan of IGR, IGR as it is now is nothing but omonile like extortion. Till state govts are allowed to earn from external sources I will not consider the current format of extortionist IGR as laudable
It goes beyond omo-onile mentality. We read how Sokoto built mosque recently. If their IGR feature prominently in the revenue sources they won't be building mosques with scarce fund.

Its after enjoying FG presence in Lagos and gaining from oil money infrastructure like Third Mainland Bridge and the Ports you now want to make noise about IGR.

No be only IGR grin grin grin

See small pikin sense
To me the idea is absolutely cool. In addition IGR should be tied to loan limits and state leaders' pay. With the current system it isn't a matter of who is ahead but who is happy to parasitic.

l had to open this account to tell this story and l know that l will be bashed for this but l really need to get it off my chest.
it was in 2014, that l cheated on him and since then, l have not been myself. l have confessed to Pastors but l can't forget it and my mind keep telling me that God has forgotten about me cos whenever l pray, l find it difficult to concentrate and that's why l want to confess to him.
l know he will send me packing because he said something like that to me and the fear is what is keeping me from confessing to him. l don't want to be disgraced out of my home cos my husband will definitely do it.
l can't blame him for my shortcomings but myself for allowing devil into my home.
l really need your advice for help.... You can curse me but l deserve it for being a loose woman but l seriously need help cos depression wants to take over my life that l think of suicide to escape shame and mockery from people in case he finds out.
postpone the confession date cos he might go on a cheating spree in revenge
or
go ahead and tell him but make him promise you a soft landing before you confess.

Let them keep breaking till they achieve stability. A force union is no better than a lone ranger.

Politics › Re: "The vision of the founding fathers"... Imaginary or done deal????? by Desyner:
OP has his points but there were exceptions imagine the idea of industrial estates as mapped out by Awolowo was followed up. That would have created a platform for separation of industries or production hubs from the largely consumption based populace of today. Some of them meant well and had good visions.
Politics › Re: Disintegrating Nigeria Will Bring Untold Hardship To All Created Regions by Desyner: 6:16pm On Jun 03, 2017
I disagree . . . All regions will experience re-awakening as there would be no free flow of easy oil money again. Imagine all those idle civil servants currently gulping oil money via civil service up north embracing farming and contributing just N100k per person per annum to their govt. 30m active people can and will give N3 Trillion Naira.
We have the potential but the free flow of oil money has attracted the wrong people to power and the populace won't hold them accountable because its not from their sweat.

While it is good to advocate local patronage, there is a huge room for improvement of local business condition.
I advocate in return that the govt goes beyond lip service and start making power cost, loan & its interest rate, road, security competitive with what's obtainable in other developing countries.
