“On behalf of the entire members of the New Face Of Delta (NFOD23) group we wish our amiable, dynamic & distinguished Senator, Olorogun Ovie Omo-Agege a long and prosperous life in the land of the living and in superlative health condition.

The voice of the people is the voice of God and that is why we are rejoicing with the man of the people & our incoming governor at 59. We join the entire world to celebrate this great man whom God has blessed with a weird sense of purposeful and visionary leadership.

What else do we ask from God for a man who giant strides has brought over five federal institution to Delta state other than ask God to protect and give him a glorious long life?

“What do we ask from God for a man who has taken it upon himself to work round the clock to lit up the entire delta central senatorial district and environs in his bid to end age-long darkness in our land other than ask God to guide and lead him into success while uplifting him to a greater height in life?

These we asked for because he earned the prayers of the masses and the entire Deltans. The group stated noting that, the ‘Obarisi’ of Urhobo-land is a God sent to uplift life and integrate Deltans with the Nigerian State.

Owelle stressed that, "The New Face Of Delta (NFOD23) is a pan Delta Socio-political pressure group to whom the Delta interest is number one before any other.

According to Chief Jerry Nkeweshe, "the group stands in-between the government and the people of Delta. He noted, they can never be compromised under any guise maintaining that whoever stands in for the interest of “our people "Deltans" in the world is automatically a member of the organisation, therefore, on this premise, DSP Omo-Agege is a bonafide member of our group because he had shown enough proof that he loves Deltans”

“Words are not enough for us to take advantage of the 59th birthday anniversary of the Deputy Senate President to tell the telling world how he has done to uplift humanity. We celebrate him today and ask God to enlarge his coast for his best is yet to come.

At 59, our Omo-Agege is just starting gathering laurels of excellence and this says the alchemy that makes heroes of mortal men should uplift him above his contemporaries,” the chairman stated.

History Will Continue To Mark Tinubu & Buhari APC Led Administration For Mass Failure In Governance - (CNBN)

The Concern Nigerians For Better Nigeria (CNBN) says Nigerians have lost hope in Buhari All Progressive Congress (APC) slowpoke administration, the decision by some state governor encouraging their resident to results to self-help inrespect of the high level of terrorism in their various state , further confirms that Nigerians have lost faith in the capacity of President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration to secure the nation.

The Concern Nigerians For Better Nigeria (CNBN) in a statement by it National Coordinator, Chief Godwin Obire from Agbarho Orhokpokpo, lamented that “the insecurity situation has so deteriorated under President Buhari and the APC’s incompetent and compromising watch that suspected bandits now have the temerity to attack military formations, including the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, where they killed two officers and abducted another senior officer and most recently they attacked some officials of the 7 Guards Battalion of the Nigerian Army Presidential Guards Brigade.

The incident, which took place late Friday night around the Bwari Area Council of Abuja, left three soldiers wounded and eight personnel killed. Two of the slain personnel were officers, including a captain and lieutenant, while the remaining were soldiers.

The statement partly read “bandits and terrorists are now freely ravaging our communities in Kano, Kaduna, Kogi, Benue, Zamfara, Adamwa, Taraba, Borno, Yobe, Imo and other states of the federation, including our seat of power, federal capital territory Abuja and Mr. President’s home state, Katsina, where governors in northern region of the country has now asked victims of terror attacks to defend themselves.

“It is distressing that having lost hope in the capacity and commitment of the President Buhari-led APC administration to protect their citizens, state governments are now confused, depressed and frustrated because of the inability of the Buhari All Progressive Congress (APC) to secure Nigerians.

“This shows their complete loss of confidence in the APC administration and the empty promises by the Buhari Presidency that was project and singlehandedly imposed on Nigerians by Bola Ahmed Tinubu

“It is even more disheartening that while our nation is under turmoil and while hundreds of helpless Nigerians, including innocent children, are languishing in kidnappers’ den, President Buhari and APC leaders are more interested in their lavish funfair with state owned resources and facilities.

“Concern Nigerians For Better Nigeria (CNBN) notes that violence and acts of terrorism had escalated across the country due to the incompetence and compromises of the Buhari administration as well as its refusal to heed wise counsel from well-meaning Nigerians, including the Concern Nigerians For Better Nigeria (CNBN) on how to secure and stabilize the nation.

“Moreover, the APC has failed to account for the hoodlums, thugs and terrorist elements they imported from neighboring countries as “political mercenaries” to unleash violence on Nigerians and muzzle the 2019 general elections and as we approach the 2023 election plans are already in top gear by Tinubu, Buhari and the All Progressive Congress to replicate same come 2023 general election all in desperation to get power by crooked means against the wish of Nigerians.

“Concern Nigerians For Better Nigeria (CNBN) charges Nigerians to hold the APC directly responsible for the escalated acts of terrorism in our country as history will continue to mark this Buhari administration for its mass failure in governance and for plunging our nation into the worst form of hardship and suffering ever”

Former senior legislative aide to the deputy senate president, federal republic of Nigeria & current senior special assistant on "political" to the delta state governor.

Chief Godwin Obire, from Agbarho Orhokpokpo has urged Nigerians to eschew sentiments in next year’s general elections.

Obire, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), said that, if Atiku/Okowa ticket succeeds, the duo will restore Nigeria.

The human right activist, who is also the national coordinator of Concern Nigerians For Better Nigeria (CNBN) Group told reporters in Asaba, the state capital, that the medical doctor/current governor of Delta state and the former vice president of Nigeria will provide quality leadership.

He added: “We have now removed religion. Let us look at the candidate, assess their character, their capacity, their ability to fight issues that are important. This is not about sentiment; it is about Nigeria, it is not personal.

“Atiku/Okowa are people that want to restore Nigeria. These are not individuals that are going there to make a mess of themselves; they are going there to restore and make Nigeria better.

“Now, the difference between the PDP and the APC is clear in the way we conducted our primaries, the way we picked our candidates and the way they emerged. The APC don't have respect or regards for christianity

"They had wanted these elections to be about religion. Now, there is no religious issue in PDP. The PDP has a Christian and Muslim on its ticket. The APC has a Muslim and a Muslim on their ticket without taking Christianity into consideration”

Obire said the emergence of the PDP presidential and vice presidential candidates showed that the PDP is better than the APC. He said the APC prediction that the PDP will break cannot come to fulfilment.

The senior special assistant on political matters added: “When it came to the issue of vice president, you all saw again what transpired. The sensitivity of issues of like religion, give and take and integrity were the factors that played the key role.

“If it was about self ambition and capacity of financial resources you know who would have been the vice president, but these are people who are ready to make that sacrifice. Truly, the PDP is showing that it is an amalgam of people that can make sacrifices. It is a party that really wants to move Nigeria forward.

“That the party cannot go to a convention or primaries without collapsing; that there will be no unity etc, you all saw democracy at it best; you all saw in the primary how delegates came out in drove to vote. The primary was very transparent and everybody that participated accepted the outcome of the result and those that lost also gallantly approved and recommended and gave their support to the winner.

“The party shows unity. It shows, it's not a party of selfish individuals but a party with people that have the mission to save Nigeria. The presidential primary witnessed internal democracy at its best.

“You saw what happened at the state primaries across the country. In APC, where there were parallel congresses, parallel results and parallel result sheets. In some places, we have three or four results sheets.

“For some of us who used to be in the APC we were stunned at what happened that in some states they had two to three congresses and up till now some are still in court disputing the results

Politics › No Comparison Between Michael Diden & Aliens Aspiring For The Senatorial Positio by Details0987(op):
No Comparison Between Michael Diden & Aliens Aspiring For The Senatorial Position Of Delta South.

Godwin Obire From Agbarho Orhokpokpo
08137840343.

Delta south senatorial district would choose courage over fear and select cooperation over confrontation come 2023.

The trajectory of his career speaks to the limitless power of vision and focus.

He was born with no silver spoon, he did not have multiple options in his determination to become a responsible and successful man.

He only had the faith in his dream, the dream that Nigeria is a place of opportunities which have been twisted by the absence of visionary and responsible leadership.

Michael Diden, more popularly known as Ejele, is a man that started from ground zero not only as young man but also while growing up.

From selling timber as a young man, Hon. Diden paid his way through school before venturing into politics, espousing the philosophy that power is derives from connecting with the grassroots and advancing their needs.

Today, having had successful times as a local government chairman and member State House of Assembly as well as numerous other appointments that enabled him actualized his dream of impacting on the standard of living of his people.

Ejele has decided to go a step higher by gunning for the upper chamber of the National Assembly, the Senate.

As a Commissioner representing Itsekiri ethnic nationality on the board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) during the administration of former Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and until becoming the Chairman of the special intervention agency.

Ejele has a first hand knowledge of the peculiar aspirations of his people in the oil-rich Delta South Senatorial Zone.

He is also at home with the shortcomings of the development strategies for the senatorial district.

Generally, the plight of the oil and gas producing communities of Delta South is well documented.

Despite best efforts by DESOPADEC to improve the situation with the limited resources at the agency disposal.

The people have not received corresponding dividends from the exploitation of the God-given resources.

This is one of the factors that inspired Hon Michael Diden decision to seek election into the Senate.

In 2015, Ejele was elected into the Delta State House of Assembly where he served as Deputy Chief Whip.

Earlier, he had had his first stint in DESOPADEC as commissioner representing the Itsekiri nation and capped it in 2019 when he became the chairman of the agency’s board.

These are part of the experiences that have prepared Michael Diden for the job.It is not just about being an Itsekiri man.

Whether it is about Ijaw, Isoko or Itsekiri, our destinies, our future and our aspirations are intertwined. We can only make progress together.

Ejele start off point is to build an enduring spirit of cooperation and communality among the three ethnic nationalities of Delta South senatorial district and take them to Greater heights.

From my intense tracking of developments in the Delta south senatorial district. Honestly speaking we are immensely deficient in manpower development and infrastructure.

Hon Michael Diden, have been doing the much he could in terms of empowerment and advocacy.

He was a special adviser to the previous government on security that midwifed the relative peace still being enjoyed in the state.

His tenure as chairman of DESOPADEC turned the agency around with meaningful projects.

One can only expect more when such men are placed in positions to represent the people.

I assure our people that they should expect nothing less than a robust representation at the Senate with Hon Michael Diden.

We are confident that his unwavering commitment to improving the fortunes of our people puts him in excellent stead to coast to victory come 2023.

Ejele have the support of majority of the people of Delta south senatorial district who believe in him.

They want Ejele to come and serve them and they have called on Ejele to run the election & represent them at the national assembly not aliens who knows nothing about their pains.

The sterling qualities of Ejele has never lost on the mouth/lips of the people. They attest to his people-oriented approach to governance.

Everywhere you go people commend Michael Diden for his tremendous and outstanding efforts in the service of Delta State over the years, and described him as an outstanding man who always speak truth to power.

Hon Michael Diden command a lot of followership across the state due to his selfless and humble leadership style.

He is a man of the people and a truthful politician loved by many for his open-door policy and humane disposition.

Only the best is good enough to be in public office. Delta South senatorial district deserve the best. Ejele is the best No comparison. Square peg in a square hole.

DAVID EDEVBIE IS NOT BY HAVING OR SHOWING SKILL IN ACHIEVING ONE'S ENDS BY DECEIT OR EVASION.

Godwin Obire from Agbarho Orhokpokpo

Political party faithfuls & great leaders across party line aren’t know-it-all who continuously try to outshine everyone by all crooked means. Instead, they admit when they’re defeated in election specifically when it's a family contest and they genuinely want to learn from others who emerge as winners by going back to the drawing board and identifying the grey areas that led to their failures strategies improve & look forward to future opportunities.

It’s not about being the smartest & most cunning person with intention to hijack power through the back door against the wish of majority of the party members. It’s about a teamwork with the most intelligent & political inclined people you can galvanize within your party building bridges become a winner by having majority by your side is a game of numbers you must have the humility to build a team with people smarter & intelligent than you

When you build a team, you must see people's strength as a complement to your weakness, not a threat to your position or authority. No one is an expert in everything; the most successful political party flag bearers emerges based on the majority of party members – not on one person or godfather

As 2023 beckons, people with diverse political interests and ambitions are doing all within their power to outsmart their perceived political opponents. On a daily basis, Nigerians are inundated with news of inter and intra party schemings by political warlords.

Intra and inter Party schemings are allowed in political settings; as same is seen by many as the oil that lubricates and shapes political Parties and democracy. However, such schemings become dangerous when it is laced with Macbethan ideology. That is, when a schemer becomes overly ambitious, like the "Macbeth of old", democracy and those who are supposed to be the major beneficiaries are put at risk of being the major losers!

Presently in Delta PDP, some people who are supposed to be looked up to in the party have now constituted themselves into bulls in China shop. From their actions and inactions, their anthem is, what they cannot get, they destroy!

The political climate from these set of people could be likened to the biblical story in 1st King 3: 16-28 wherein two women did lay claim to a child. While the heartless one demanded for the child to be cut into two parts, the actual mother of the child thought otherwise. The lesson from that story is the triumph of humanity over selfishness and wickedness.

Few months ago, there was Delta PDP gubernatorial primaries in which Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori was overwhelmingly voted for. While Chief Oborevwori got about 590 votes, his closest rival, Chief David Edevbie got about 113 votes. The outcome of the contest was adjudged free, fair and credible by those who witnessed it.

The result of the contest was a true reflection of what majority of the people wanted. As a result of that, none of the contestants had the courage to challenge the outcome of the primaries on the ground of eligible votes cast at the gubernatorial primaries of the party.

As it is customary with most political desperados, Chief Edevbie went to court to challenge the overwhelming victory of Oborevwori on the ground of purported "name discrepancy". The outcome of the Court case is in the public domain.

In line with the constitutional rights of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, he immediately appealed the said judgement to the appellate court. As at today, the appeal has been entered and in line with the law, there is already an application for injunction at the lower Court.

It is therefore worrisome that instead of Chief Edevbie and his hallelujah boys to wait for the outcome of the pending appeal, they are busy harassing INEC to substitute Oborevwori's name with Edevbie's name in total disregard for what the law expects of litigants! Again, in connivance with members of the opposition, Chief Edevbie political hirelings are on a daily basis presiding over the subject of Oborevwori's appeal on social media, newspapers and media houses for what ought to be a brotherly political disagreement.

This has no doubt been taken to a dangerous level that has never happened in the political history of our dear State. What a desperation!

Without any air of equivocation, PDP gubernatorial delegates knew who they wanted ab-nitio. They never made mistake in chosing Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori. The voice of the people is the voice of God, and nothing can change that.

Ordinary Deltans are tired of political distractions coming from Chief David Edevbie and his political and media hirelings. Deltans are aware that Oborevwori has a Masters Degree in Political Science. That could not have been without him having O, level result! They should know that Deltans are wiser than they think.

At this point in time, the best option for Chief Edevbie will be to go into political negotiations with Oborevwori for the good of himself, his followers, and majority of Deltans who desire the "MORE agenda" of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori. Leadership is not a do or die affair; Delta PDP Delegates have since spoken.

PROMISE OGUMU: A VOTE FOR DESTINY

Bitterr Truthh

The very essence of politics is discovered in the lives of the people. The luxuriance, riches, buoyancy, smiles, laughter, happiness and the general well-being of the subjects under political leadership can only be determined by the actions, inactions, deeds and misdeeds of those who have been chosen to lead.

If venturing into a political island means venturing into a treasure trove to rake up treasures, then politics is not worth is true essence. In the Nigerian political turf, empirical researches have opened up facts and truths about the mentality of many Nigerian politicians who seek for political offices with the sole intention of enriching and creating demi-gods out of themselves at the expense of the people they are to represent in government. They are the political vampires whose overall interest is to drain the largesse that rightfully belong to the generality of the people by virtue of their political sovereignty.

They are the ones whose chief objective of coming into politics is to fritter the fertile forests of democratic dividends and harry the hills of the glory of humanity. They are the ones whose craze for sudden wealth, have unscrupulously debased the dignity of man in the society. They are the ones whose sole business is to plunder and sunder the people's wealth only for the gratification of their selfish ends. They are the egocentric elements who have not been able to reason above self. They are the agents of doom and the enemies of democracy.

But like the saying goes, in every thick mass of cloud, there is a silver lining. Within the threshold of the same political circle, there are still men with the hearts of gold. Even though they are not angels from the celestial realm, they can be dubbed as the paragons of the political landscape. They are men of integrity and probity, who have been able to discern the value between self and a people, and have chosen to place a higher premium on the latter. They are the men who have chosen not to live for themselves but for the people. They are generally called the Altruists of the earth because they live to dispense total devotion to the welfare of others. And these attributes are the very hallmark of true Representative Democracy. Interestingly, it is in this beautiful caste that our man, PROMISE OGUMU, is moulded. He doesn't feign it or act it, he is just so by nature. Taking him away from this personality is like taking a fish away from the river, its true habit.

Like diamonds in the mines, the likes of PROMISE OGUMU are rare to find in the political spectrum, so when you stumble on one of them, you hold him and cling on to him like a leech. We have found PROMISE OGUMU worthy of representing the IKA NORTH EAST CONSTITUENCY at the Delta State House Of Assembly, and we have clung on to him, never to lose him. For those who have represented us there in the past and currently, have only gone there to gratify their selfish ends at the detriment of their constituents, the people they represented.

Now we say NOT AGAIN. The scale of deception has fallen off our eyes and we can now see clearly. No more MISREPRESENTATION at the HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY No more PLUNDERING and SUNDERING by one person, of what belong to us all by dint of our political sovereignty. This is the time to DELIVER THE GOODS TO THE PEOPLE.

And PROMISE OGUMU is the man we have chosen to deliver the GOODS judiciously and equitably to the people.

We therefore charge all IKA NORTH EAST CONSTITUENCY eligible delegates to cast their VOTES for PROMISE OGUMU on Wednesday, 26th May, 2022 for the House of Assembly.

Politics › Ndudi Elumelu Is Not Going Anywhere: Owelle by Details0987(op): 10:12am On May 24, 2022
Aniocha/Oshimili Politics 2023 and Why Ndudi Elumelu Must Not Return to the House of Representatives.

Chief Jerry Nkeweshe (Owelle 1 of Onicha Olona)

Ndudi Elumelu, is from Aniocha north and has been representing Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency comprising four (4) local government for 12 years (3 tenures); and he was recently imposed again on the PDP by the PDP political machinery as their candidate to contest for this office for another four years.

Irrespective of the above, we, “Aniocha/Oshimili Youth for Progress” are quite concerned about the impact of the perpetual imposition of Ndudi Elumelu on our people and to be specific, we are very worried because the public service rendered so far by Ndudi Elumelu on behalf of the entire Aniocha/ Oshimili federal constituency people has not met their yearnings. Indeed, his service in the house of representatives has mostly served his personal interest.

We are worried that his continuation in office will only produce more of the same, and this will dash the hopes and aspirations of a large majority of Aniocha/Oshimili people, especially the youths and the entrepreneurial class, whose future is being mortgaged. To foster development and progress of Aniocha/ Oshimili,we therefore say ‘NO’ to the return of Ndudi Elumelu to the house of representatives especially for the following reasons;

LACK OF EQUITY: Ndudi Elumelu’s proposed continuity as our representatives in the green chamber lacks equity.

He was elected for three terms (12 years) in order to balance the political tripod of Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency politics it is not right for him or anyone from Aniocha north to aspire for same because of the other local government areas.

Today, after spending almost 12 years at the house of representatives, Ndudi Elumelu seeks continuity. To achieve this he exploited the “Aniocha north-in-power” influence and possible clandestine connivance with both known and masked element who had threatened fire and brimstone and a total breakdown of law and order should the good people of Aniocha/Oshimili not return him to the Green Chamber; In this age and time, and with our continuous quest to deepen our democratic norms and values, we take a serious offence to being held hostage while persons without merit are forced down our throats.

We therefore reject the imposition of Ndudi Elumelu on the people of Aniocha/ Oshimili federal constituency.

NEPOTISM: For the past 12 years, Hon Ndudi Elumelu, has been in the house of representatives. Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, since 2007, Re-elected into the House of Representatives, 2011, Re-elected into the House of Representatives, 2019. And he has also been privilege to be in key committees.

Chairman, Committee on Power, 2007 - 2010
Chairman, Committee on Health
Member of the following committees: Information, Climate change, Interior, Water Resources, Science and Technology, National Security and Public Safety.

He is also the current minority leader of the 9th house of representatives. This is besides being in many other vibrant committees. Using these official platforms, Ndudi Elumelu is directly involved with, and gets involved with innumerable projects by proxy, thereby amassing colossal wealth for himself and associates to the detriment of the people he is supposed to serve.

First, it is important to note that the Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency allocation under the custody of Ndudi Elumelu for 12 years are based on the rightful legacy and inheritance of Aniocha/Oshimili communities within the federal constituency, which mainly includes the Oshimili north, Oshimili south, Aniocha north and Aniocha south.

Ndudi Elumelu maintains an overriding influence on this budget and continues to use his office to assign many projects on the basis of political patronage; and all in a desperate attempt to silence the voice of the people. However, “Enough is enough”. This time around, we say ‘NO.’

It is even worse that he has been using his influence as Chairman of these committees to concentrate most of the constituency projects within his Aniocha north local government areas; while other local government have to battle to attract projects to develop their areas.

In fact, over 60% of these budgets are spent on substandard projects in Aniocha north. This insensitive act of ‘robbing-Peter-to-pay-Paul” must stop forthwith. These facts are readily verifiable and are not far-fetched.

A number of scenarios are now playing out as we proceed towards the 2023 elections in Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency.

Ndudi Elumelu and associates appear to have started on the wrong footing by undermining the interests of both the Oshimili north, Oshimili south and Aniocha south that are important voting blocs; but this situation has also provided both local government areas with an excellent opportunity to pull together in the 2023 elections.

They certainly wield significant power to determine the outcome of the Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency elections if they approach it with a common front, and side-step the “divide-and-rule” that almighty political merchant. Hon Ndudi Elumelu, may want to use against them.

We know that, Ndudi Elumelu the current representative of the Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency is from Aniocha north and Aniocha north have been there for 12 years as well as held many other top positions at state and federal levels.

The big questions?

Is Aniocha north the only local government that makes up the Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency?

Why should Aniocha north in the person of Ndudi Elumelu be aspiring to go for the 4th term when some other local governments that makes up the federal constituency have not even had a shut at it?

Is Ndudi Elumelu the only one in the federal constituency or we don't have others who are qualified from the Oshimili's & Aniocha south?

The Oshimili's and Aniocha south lag behind in many indices and still complain of marginalization, so it would be a tale of doom if they still act naively in the political sense.

They ought not to rely on empty promises from Ndudi Elumelu and his political party, rather they should act “smart” by using the strength of their electoral votes to their utmost benefit, so as to rise from the present “political grave yard” they find themselves in.

Only the Oshimili's and Aniocha south can do it for themselves. The old mentality of “blaming others” is now useless, because here lies a golden opportunity before them.

The solution is in their own hands. All politics is about numbers! If they so wish, they can sell off their pride and their rights for a “pot of porridge”, but they will only have themselves to blame.

Therefore, the leaders of the Oshimili's/ Aniocha south people should not fritter it away by mortgaging and trading-off their rights, their privileges and the future of their youths.

May we therefore sound a loud trumpet as though we speak from the preacher’s pulpit; we admonish all Oshimili's/Aniocha south People today we will NEVER allow impunity, corruption, nepotism or criminality to thrive in Aniocha/ Oshimili federal constituency by Ndudi Elumelu.

God bless Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency

God bless Delta State

God bless Nigeria
