Akainzo: Welcome Mr. Professor! Ashamed to hear that internet usage has also derailed your sense of morals! You are even free to call your parents names, after all it's a world of freedom of speech. I wonder which day you saw citizens of developed countries with their much knowledge of democracy speaking foul languages like that. Only God knows which kind of youth we are raising nowadays! Princek12: My friend this is no Church, this Nairaland! Did you learn/know anything about "register" at all in your secondary school? There are words associated with different places. If you doubt this, try and call a common mobile police a "fool" and see how he will give you a "offering"! Shameless!!! I wonder where you live! @Na so, It's a pity that the "foul" statement also reflect at my end also as if you are the one who made it. Pardon please!!! Don't mind those shameless individuals hiding behind the internet in the name of "freedom of speech". The Epaas! |

Health / Please help solve this mystery about Sneezing and Yarning! by detruth: 8:41pm On Feb 04, 2010 |
I notice that when I sneeze, until it is three times (may be different with others), it keeps coming back again. A friend of mine must sneeze up to seven times just at once. Is there any medical explanation to this? So also, have you also notice that whenever you yarn, someone around will also be doing the same at the same time? Why this linkage? |

I agree with you that Ikokore is a typical ijebu food. But ekuru is quite general to yorubas. sapala or abari is made like moinmoin with fresh corn grains. Its style is not different from moinmoin except bean exchanged for corn. Am I right? |
Food / Re: How And What Do You Use To Eat Ekuru? by detruth: 3:18pm On Dec 23, 2008 |

Food / Re: How And What Do You Use To Eat Ekuru? by detruth: 3:11pm On Dec 23, 2008 |
tkb417: Except with similarities in the way of wrapping and steaming, ekuru is a little bit different Unilike moinmoin, nothing is added to ekuru before blending, not even salt. In addition, moinmoin does not require vigirous stiring like ekuru. Ekuru needed to be stired until it is light so as to facilitate the mashing |
