From above it shows your level of understanding about JESUS CHRIST and as a matter of fact you need to acquire more knowledge about CHRIST. however i'M still learning myself so feel confident to gain more knowledge about HIM.

when you show me the large synagogue Christ built: Christ is the founder and the head of church.

the schools he set up: A Profound and Formidable Teacher. Example of school- The 12 desciples.

his hospitals: No He doesn't need one- HE is the true healer, if u need one communicate with him, he's there to increase your knowledge and understanding.

cattle, goat, sheep : Now i know you have no idea who CHRIST is, please find out properly.

Detruth: may God continue to bless you Amen.

Whenever you passed an exam or get a promotion at work or when a baby boy or girl is added to your family or when you complete your project e.g 5 bed duplex what do you say? i'm sure you normally say " Thank God or all glory be to God right or wrong. Now, is God not interested in your building or promotion.

My friend God is MARVELOUS AND GRACIOUS in fact he loves great things that's why he created us and gave us knowledge to event great positive things in life.

Detruth is an admirer of God's work and he's giving back the glory to God Amighty because without Him nothing is possible, very simple we don't need to start proving how intelligent or stupid we are.
@Skyone
You are a darling!
That is a nail on the head for the hypocrites!

Please let everyone join me in this prayer;
Dear heavenly Father, let it be to everyone according to their desires. Since some only believe in the good things of heaven,
lets such earthly good things (such as shown above) then be far from them here on earth! May they never
see or taste that which good like above since it's against their intrest! And whatsoever anyone of them is "enduring"
as good thing like these presently, let such "evil" be totally destroyed out of their lives (perhaps so that they may be able to serve you)!
But as for them that love and appreciate such good things, which God the author of good in the beginning accomplished here on earth
(Gen 1:31: And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good) ,
surely let the goodness and mercy of God follow them, all the days of their lives!
Can I hear everyone shout a big "Amen"!

Christianity EtcRe: Redeemed Church Opens World's Biggest Auditorium, Costs N7.7b by detruth: 12:03pm On Feb 07, 2008
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has opened, arguably, the world’s biggest auditorium. The facility can accommodate more than a million worshippers at a time. The auditorium, which was opened by the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, was built at a cost of $60 million (about N7.7 billion).

This is why Nigerians will continue to live in poverty. We have homeless people on the streets and jobless people, yet a pastor with a vision is spending the congregations tithes and offering on this extravagant building.

I guess religion has now turn to a profitable business.

http://www.thenewsng.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3923

@Poster

What's your own problem about this episode? Is your money part of the tithe and offerings being used? It's not hard knowing childern of "shhhhhhhh"! They are so comfortable speaking against God's servants. I pity you! So you want them to use the tithe payers money to feed you and pave the road to your house?. No matter where the money comes from, am sure its not from your pocket. I doubt if God has ever cost you anything!
This is Nigeria and not US, we love God here, we do'nt spend money on war (looking for weapon of mass destruction), but on God! The downward going(even in economy) of US today is all because the haven no place for God.

I feel you!
Infact i share in your joy
How wonderful is our God who has done this in our midst
In Nigeria of all countries at least we are recognised too
I don't care wot some people/critics think or feel but I know this is
the work of God and it is marvelous in our sight!
We give God all the glory for using is church to launch Nigeria into the
Guinness book of records, this is a great achievement
Please lets face it, when it is Good it is God
@weebee
I can sense the same joy in you, I love your faith filled words! I strongly believe that our own generation will be contributors and distractors. We would'nt need to travel abroad (US/UK) to make it, because the God of the whites is also the God of the blacks. Please keep fit! Only those who appreciate good things does the same. People will soon hear great news about us.
1 Cor 2:7-9
"But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained
before the ages for our glory,
which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known,
they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written:
"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him
."
NKJV

A2J:
@detruth
I think you should note that we are all God's Mobile House, God doesnt lives in a building, He prefers the little heart of man that the biggest of the earth put together.
I will ask you, how much did this building cost? am sure will run into billions of naira -paid by the offering and tithe of the church members- and the church also have a univeristy it controls, , In what area have the church help the community? only competing for a World Record,
No wonder Jesus says many will ask "we cast out demons in your name,go great mighty things in your name" and he will repply " i know you not"
Stop competing to have world records, compete to make Heaven records!!!!!!!!!
@A2J
Every great achivement you see above will always have man's input (the airbus, road construction, buildings etc). Get this understanding! that God will always use men who make themselves available (not arrogants/critics) or has any man complained to you they forced money out of his/her hands in the place?. People gives money, God gives people (except different in your own case).Take a journey to Otta and ask anybody about  how they started from the little point reconstructing many kms of road in Otta area, aids to students in form of bursary (least is N25,000), even international aids to Tsumanis and Hurricane Katrina victims etc .That is why I thank God for people like Seun Osewa whose effect is felt round the globe. This sincere question we must ask ourselves; in what way have you personally ever affected your life world? What have you in your life for your world? Criticism? Only those who affect their own lives can possibly affect they live. Let's stop thinking like a poor man!
4Him:
did God build the house? There is joy in heaven not for every church that makes the guinness book of records but for EVER SINNER (the temple of the Holy Ghost) that comes to the loving arms of the Father.

Face it . . . this is the work of man and it is marvelous in our sight.

Is this the commission Christ gave the apostles in Matthew 28? Go ye into all the world and launch your nations into the Guiness book of records?

By extra-biblical heresy the people are slowly led astray.
Gen 3: 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Is it biblical that when it is good it is God? Judge for urselves.
@4Him,
Normally I detest arguing with critics and such whose belief resembles that of a Pharisee.  They crucified Jesus in the first place under the excuse of religion. they thought no one knows better to worship God. Please note! when it is evil, it may be your own "God", but for me (and that of weebee, Bblak,olorrioko,jagunlabi,jintujinta etc, I guess), our God is called the GOOD GOD!
Ps 73:1
Truly God is good, even to such as are of a clean heart.
James 1:17
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from
the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning"
.
3 John 11
"Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good
is of God
: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God"

Thank God you quoted that scripture in Gen 3: 6. It may be hard, but please try and imbibe a teacheable heart of a learner and get understanding!
This is the truth, good is not what you personally see like Eve, good is what God calls good! God never called that tree "good" for them to eat. That is the same mistake Eve commited - self rigtheousness and pride
(Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to
the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did
eat,
and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat)

But look at the experience of Peter with Cornelius
Acts 10:14-15
But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
KJV

If Peter had not seen it from God's view, gentiles will never have known Christ. Later on in the chapter Peter agreed and confessed
Acts 10:34-35
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
KJV

This is the truth, my purpose for this thread is to make people see that great and beautiful things can also come out of Jerusalem Nigeria (Africa). To show our generation that before His coming back, we have the ability to put an end to all these hardship and corruptions. We can make this "world" a more beautiful, more habitable place just as it was in the beginning of creation. This is the message of good works!
If you ask many that ran abroad (US/Europe), they went there not because of "good words" but because of "good works". No matter how the whites or land owners treat or maltreat them over there, they "endure"! Why? good works!- good houses, good jobs, good education, good security etc
James 1:17
"Every good gift  and every perfect gift  is from above, and cometh down
from the Father of lights
, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning" KJV

That which is good is not as you see it, but as God sees it! Good is judged from above. Stop judging and comdeming based on your own personal views. It can be as poisonous as the forbidden fruit. Peace!

Christianity has ever being known with "good words" but what about "good works"
Good words are you preachings and sermons. But what of good works: making life habitable for fellow men, more creativity and less criticism, not only preaching corruption but living incorruptible. Showing the world that we are the salt for preservation and the light to illuminate (Mat. 5:13,14).

It shows the beauty and the untapped power of creation that God kept inside man. In the first case, created the whole world out of rubbish (without form and void). If we are truly His, then the whole world is waiting for our manifestaions (Rom. 8:19).
Col 1:27
"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:"

Nobody is here to praise man, or worship building but just to appreciate God's power that works in us to the manifestations of His creative ability.

Eph 2:10
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

Thanks for understanding!

The Chairman of the NFA, Sani Lulu, said the association would look into the terms of Vogts’ contract after Ghana 2008.

He said, “The conditions of his contract have not been fully implemented and we’ll be looking into some of these things when we leave Ghana.” “We’ve been cautious because of financial implication, so as soon as we have the funds we’ll be able to do what we should.”

Lulu however refused to explain what money had to do with the issue.

Vogts, whose salary is being paid by Globacom is based in Europe, refusing to stay in Nigeria to monitor home-based players.

Lulu added that Vogts’ decision to stay in Europe would also be looked into so that the former Germany defender would be able to develop local talent.

“I agree that he has not stayed in Nigeria long enough and we want that to change. That was one of the reasons we didn’t employ Philippe Troussier, who insisted that he was going to stay in Morocco while working for Nigeria.”

Lulu, whose board allowed some of the players to stay back with their clubs while other federations insisted on having theirs early in camp, absolved the NFA of any blame in Nigeria’s poor performance in Ghana.

He said, “We’ve done everything we can, but I’ll still apologise to Nigerians on behalf of the players. I’m sure nobody back home is happy with their performance.”

The Eagles need a huge favour from Cote d’Ivoire to qualify for the quarterfinals.

A draw between Mali and Cote d’Ivoire, who play in Accra also on Tuesday, would see both Francophone countries going through regardless of the result between Nigeria and Benin.
