I was also here today to get mine. It was done under 30mins for 3k. No passport needed.

If you are preparing your CV for Visa interview, please don't leave out your work experience. Although, I am not sure if it counts but what I know is that it tells the VO or anyone processing your application that you haven't been idle. Talking from personal experience as I was also in your same situation.

My course is practical oriented. MSc in Geoscience, also applied for Msc in Geomatics and Geophysics.
I no dey like too much research and too much theory wey person go get too many handouts to read or rather cram.
I am very poor in cramming, somehow lazy in reading and always very good and vigorous in practical things.
I prefer it raw and practical with more materials to practice on and less materials to read.
I love action.

From the information I gathered, I will be more fitted in practical oriented universities but my major aim is doing a course that can give me jobs in Germany and graduating with very good grades in such course.

Geo courses have lots of practicals as they are field stuffs. But then, you can be assured of a good standard of education in Germany.

2. Fachhochschule (more practical based)

2. How will you know that a university is Fachhochschule or Universität

The first thing is to understand the nature of your course. Is your course research oriented or industry oriented?
If your course is research oriented, then you know you'll have to head for a PhD after MSc. If it's industry oriented, then you can choose to find a job after MSc.
I'll share some screenshots of my mails with one of the ogas in Part 2 of the thread. Don't mind the blurring, it's for security purposes.

About the naming, you'll see it on the name of the school.
Hoschule Bonn-Rein-Sieg is University of Applied Sciences, Bonn-Rein-Sieg while Georg August Universitat is University of Göttingen.

Then, as Fabcol as said, all the schools run on the same standard, except that you can't do a PhD at Hoschules

Exam and records unit is usually under the Registrar's office so that's where you'll get it from.

The only thing she can do for you is to fund your blocked account.
She can't get you a Sponsorship letter unless she is a PR or Citizen of Germany.

The evaluation report is the VPD. This one you sent is a confirmation that your application will be forwarded to your school

House for the certification at the embassy do they sign /write anything on the application form? I wish to certify documents for two different schools. But in application form for one they asked "if I have applied to another school in DE" if I thick "No" won't the certification officer see me as a liar coz I have two applications for different schools.

My thicking "No" is to increase my chances of getting admission to that particular course /school.

The main certification is done on the back of the last page, which is usually your passport, but all the documents are staggered together, stapled and stamped in a way that the stamp appears on all pages.

About your ticking yes or no, firstly, you should have been honest about it. I don't think it increases your chances of admission there. Anyway, the embassy won't have a problem with it.

There's no "list" perse.
It depends on what your department wants. Within a school, you can see departments that don't need language test at all, some might accept proficiency letter while some might insist on TOEFL or IELTS.
So when you check out all your prospective schools from DAAD.de, you can mail the course coordinators to confirm exactly what they'll require from you.

I studied Mechanical engineering with 2.93 CGPA but I am a data analyst by profession. I love to go for Masters in data engineering or analytics but the setback is the schools I have checked request bachelor degree in computer science or informatics...

I would have considered going for Master in Mechanical engineering but the requirements are way above my CGPA....

I'll humbly advice you apply for another Bachelors degree in computer science or informatics then. It will give you a solid foundation for MSc in the field.
Mechanical engineering is a bit far from data analytics. I hope this helps.

Anyone who wants to pay Uni-assist fees can PM me. Also, if you wanna apply to a lot of unis, you can each uni's application documents in separate envelopes, addressed to the individual unis and then insert all of them in one package and send to me to save some money on the postage fees, I'll split them and send to the different addresses. You can even collab like this with a few friends, each person packaging their docs as required and then you all sending in one big envelope to me.

FAU gave me admission just this morning for summer. Enrollment deadline is April 26, no deferment of admission till winter, no enrollment deadline extension

Bro, I'll humbly suggest that you certify at the embassy. There have been comments about how "crazy" the school is.. so it's best to just kuku be on the safe side.

Most schools in Nigeria only send Transcripts to the school one applies to only and they don’t give you to keep it . How do guys bypass this ? A little greasing of palms ?

If you want to grease their palms, do it.
You can also request it to be sent to another school or company within Nigeria where you know someone that can help you pick it up.

Print 2 copies of your application form. Sign the both of them and add it to your certified copies. Mail it to them.

If you used jamb and it worked for you, and I used o level and it worked for me, then we're both right. There's no need to rubbish anyone's contribution. Ohh wow.. so your own “university entrance examination” is WAEC or NECO ?? Lool. Where does UTME and post UTME fit in? Who gives you your admission letter, WAEC? Anyway.. in the case of Unibremen, UTME (Jamb) is the university entrance examination while “further entrance examination” like you pointed out is your “post” UTME. If your school did not write it (I heard the federal government wanted to scrap it at some point) then kindly put “None”.

When University entrance examination is asked about, the first and the most proper examination to forward is your O'Level (WAEC/NECO). Shey Jamb will issue your admission letter if you have D7 in English language?
