area74: Good afternoon house.
I just got admitted to the MSc Economics programme of FSU, Jena and I have been trying to book appointment with the German embassy. I got this from there site: 'Registration to apply for a long term visa / more than 90 days for family reunion ONLY (NO STUDENTS / NO WORK PERMIT etc.)' Is this the new process to get appointment or the old method still works. Kindly help me out. The challenge I had last year was late admission.
PLEASE HELP ME OUT. THANKS Congratulations on your admission. Is it for summer or winter? About appointment booking, the mail method doesn't seem to be effective any longer. You'll have to stay awake on the booking site between 10:55pm and 11:05 pm. The dates come out mostly at 11:00pm sharp. |

I want to know If i need to notarized all document for my 3 application and send to each university through uni assist.
Please this is very urgent, because i need to send this document this week....
Help me please./... If the 3 applications are all through Uni-assist, then send only one set of notarized documents to them. Put all your application forms in an envelope with 1 set of certified documents. They will use the 1 set for the 3 applications. |

obibanks: So as I'm pairing up to post to UniAssist, how are we gonna address the main envelope since there're different school? Uni-assist address is central. Na one building When they receive it's then they will know how to sort it based on the different schools they are processing for. |

frankie2K: Like dis quote"to avoid stories that touch".Hope d school accepts the one sent directly to them from my school cos considering the distance of going to Lagos or Abuja for certification will be expensive and considering the letter head also is not bearing their address.Don't know whether the also accept letter of English proficiency. I'm not sure if they might take that. What you'll do? Mail both the course coordinator as well as the international office and see if they will accept documents sent directly from your school. Yes, they accept proficiency letter. |

obibanks: Goodmorning house. While sending documents to UniAssist via courier, is it advisable that I seperate the application forms of 2 different schools in my envelope by using 2 different envelopes inside a a main envelope? I'm also planning to pair with some people while sending You can Put your documents inside one envelope. Just make sure it's properly stapled so that documents for application A won't get mixed with Application B. |

Eldeee: It's well, May the good Lord guide and bless each and every one of us.
Shalom. Apt. Well said Egbon. I must confess things have changed kinda. When I started following the thread from the very first part as a guest reader; not just transcripts, admission and visa issues were discussed about. Those who were there gave us first hand experiences about life, study and hustle. Newbies didn't get annoyed when they asked basic questions and they were told to read up (despite the fact that there wasn't much information as compared to now). I read parts 1,2,3,4 and lots of part 5 as a guest until I had to create this account. I think the reason why things are shaping up like this is because there are quite a large number of aspirants now, compared to then. But then, as my popman will say Ti a ba duro giga, o jẹ nitori a duro lori ẹhin awọn ti o wa niwaju wa.If we stand tall it is because we stand on the backs of those who came before usWe rise by helping others. Good morning fam. |

If you're uploading it online, there's no need to print. Just upload the PDF after you've inserted your image. |

Fakeme: Hello fams, I am currently doing my masters in management information system. How possible is it to transfer to a German university or do I have to start afresh. How do I go about it plz, help out Deustchemann, Eldeee, dolpazand others plz Are you doing the masters in Nigeria? What I'll suggest is that you should open daad and search for this your course or related courses. Check their requirements and then send a mail to the course coordinator stating the program you're doing at the moment, and your desire to transfer to their school. Wait for their response. They'll definitely answer you. Now, if they tell you it's possible to transfer, then start packing your documents for application. If they tell you it's not possible: you have 2 options 1. Jejely complete the masters you're doing now and start another one in Germany when you're done here. 2. Abandon the program you're doing and start a fresh application to Germany. Shalom |

Dahyormine: Happy Sunday to everyone in the house, I joined this forum in less than two weeks ago, I started from page one, and now I'm up to date, in all fairness, I have learnt a lot, and I will as well advice all new comers to take their time to read from the beginning rather than asking questions that must have been treated in the past, that aside. I noticed no one here ever mentioned applying for physics and it's related courses, which is the path I'm following, I also noticed that so many universities are offering it which leaves me with so many options to choose from, now I would love to know, what are the odds of studying such pure science course in Germany? Is it a sort after career and is it marketable? ie, what's the possibility of getting a full time job in the field after ones Msc degree? or I should follow another path in relations to science and engineering? just being curious. Cc fabcol chriswazo deustchemann haybabe12 omoluv5 honourableseyi goztino You're welcome to the thread bro. Thank you for recommending reading previous parts. I'm sure you have the basics at hand now. As regards your choice of course, you'll definitely do well. As PhilFit has said, do well, learn German to B2, gather experience on internships and God's grace will back you up. If you like Astrophysics, you can apply for MSc Astrophysics at university of Potsdam. The admission is not restricted and the Application via Uni-assist has been paid for by the school. Once more, you're welcome. |

ARISTOCRATDAMMY1: Hello guys i have a question.
I have HND and currently on NSYC, I'm thinking of applying for BSC jn Germany and not sure I'll be able to complete my NSYC before leaving... I need your sincere advice guys....
I'm fed up Bro, calm down first. Germany no run away. Complete your NYSC bro. It's very paramount. I guess you're either in batch B or C (2018). So, latest by November, you should be done. Between now and then, endeavour to write IELTS or TOEFL. Get your HND transcript ready (which I guess you already have), HND Certificate, Waec Certificate, Birth Certificate/Attestation, and most importantly; your proof of sustenance. Most Summer admissions will kickstart around October/November. If you have these ready, everything will sail smoothly by God's grace. Abeg no frustrate yourself. |
