The distance from PH to Lagos is about 273 miles or 439 kilometers as the crow flies, but is it same by road which is about 638.7 km?

When a government tells you they have constructed this so or so length of road in a given time, they are telling you the total length of road constructed when all the road are put together. They are not talking about a single stretch of road. Fashola is simply being cunny with his words cause he knows guys like you will believe without analysing its sensibility.

How can Fashola compare a single stretch of air distance to many windy distances put together?

The guy never said flight distance in time, he said flight distance in km ...another lack of critical analysis from one that accuses others of same. A straight distance in kilometers (even in time) between point A and B is shorter that a windy distance between same points. This is simple primary arithmetic.

5] Goodluck has been conducting free and fair elections whereas the ones conducted under Obasanjo are Shameful and national disgrace yet

6] Goodluck established 12 new universities, 9 in the North to improve learning and knowledge and increase the Jambites admission rate, yet

7] Goodluck established the Almajiri system for Northern abandoned street children and those deprived of education by their own people and

This is not peace keeping, neither is it really a conventional war. Let not worsen their state of their morals with our posts, the service chiefs included. Niger and co should stop joining the west to score cheap points out of our predicament.

In the past, northern leaders especially-and Buhari inclusive- were directly or indirectly motivating those boys, and to the contrary demoralizing the NA. Some others that could help didn't help, cos of political interests; while some were for religious reasons, sympathetic to the course of boko. Now things have gone out of hand and we're facing the consequences. Everyone of us, including the Northern leaders,and ppl those that were sabotaging or sympathizing,Jona, past presidents, media, service chiefs etc one way or the other, will facing the consequences of our actions and inactions and will still face till God knows when. Let's work together to cut the days and consequences short.

And lastly, for Buhari(or whosoever) to try to simplify the causes for the dragging of this war against BH to Jona and corruption, is to either be totally oblivious of reality or to simply be mischievous. And I'm still wondering why no one has asked him what he meant by fighting Boko haram is fight the north; why no one has asked him if he'll treat them like Niger Delta militants were treated i.e by giving Amnesty as he went about admonishing Jona months back.

He stated that he had a parley with a former CJN on the incidence of corruption/crime.

He posited that Justice Mustapha disclosed that over 70% of the cases under the judge's purview were actually outright theft being branded as corruption. He was making a case that what people normally give the appellation of corruption are nothing short of thievery.

Instead of branding a public official guilty of misappropriation as corrupt, he was suggesting that a more apt or grievous term should be applied. Let the guilty official be addressed as the thief that s/he is so as to serve as a deterrent to others.

So what is difficult for this APC man to understand?

Mr president is quite right. The word corruption has been so over used and misused that it is now seen as sexy and cool. When you call a politician in Nigeria corrupt it is as if you are complimenting him. The average market woman on the street does not know what corruption means, what they know is 'thief' in English and 'ole' in Pidgin.

It is good that you are not violent, but you can not continue to pretend that you do not know what your fellows are doing up north. I personally do not hate hausa/fulanis, have never insulted a Northerner and I do not think I ever will (I have even had to quarrel with a relative of mine for abusing an Hausa man that lives close to my house) but I will not deny what you guys are doing to southerners up north. You too should pull your head out of the sand and be truthful to yourselves. Nobody is forcing you to change your personality or ethnicity, the way to move forward is not by screaming solidarity slogans, rather call your likes together and go out there to educate and enlighten others on the need to be less violent and be more conversative.
