2 me Android Studio is like the more specialized version of Eclipse. Have u used Eclipse? With Eclipse (and adding plugins) u can build Java, Android, BlackBerry, J2ME, Nokia, iOS (using a cross-platform), C, C++, Python, Ruby, Perl and so on.

With Android Studio (and a good few plugins) you should be able to do the same. Its just that it will be a little bit harder, since Android Studio was specific built for Android. But with some workarounds, hackings here n there and good plugins, you should be able to build any type app or software. Even web apps.

I should be checking this Eclipse out then. I hope its also drag and drop enabled, cause all these C, C++, python names are a bit scary (I'm sure these are programming modules).

Hi guy, I want to start learning how to build android apps and so came across the Android Studio software by google. I have no knowledge of coding and I don't have any experience in programming. I was thinking this software could help a guy like me build apps on the ideas I have in my head presently. So, I would like to find out the limitations of this software in building an app that can be used to get infos on say secondary schools around my area. Is this possible with this software or are there other drag and drop software out there that will do the job. Thanks a lot.

Some people are attacking me because they have never and will never withness a good government in their life. Its either this woman don't know her job as a finance minister or she is just refusing to do her job.

You talk about police and sub police as if these are sent from heaven. Developed worlds are looking for ways to limit or even phase out traditional policing to be replaced by technology, you are here talking rubbish and feeling intelligent. A relative of mine who have worked in the police force for more than 32yrs now always says to anybody that would listen that she has seen too many armed robbers killed by the police but yet robbers are still robbing. She says that even in the venue where robbers are being executed, others are coming to steal and pick pockets there. Go to the ghettos in New York where many black people are being thrown into jails everyday, yet the crime rates are still high there. All you guys want to see is people being jailed, how about prevention for a true change. Even the US is tired of building jails cause they are expensive to maintain and operate in the long term. The right institutions, driven by the right technology and over seen by the right hearts should be the right means of policing in this modern time and not just uniformed men who are themselves are sometimes as corrupt as the ones they are expected to police.

I have a BB bold 5 (9900) that the network coverage keeps changing between 4G, 3G, EDGE, edge, SOS and X. It is never stable and so I find it had to browse conveniently with it. I have made some research on the net and realized that many have had this problem right from when this phone was first produced. Surprisingly, no one seem to have a solution to this. If you have discovered a solution, please help me with it.
I have been advised to switch network to 2G but the problem is that I use etisalat BIS and it does not work on 2G. Pls help.

Look at all all the primary elections held for various states by the PDP, they were fraught with irregularities and by handpicking of the presidency.

That's why people like Obanikoro, Maku etc. became disenfranchised.

Compare that with primaries of their main opposition - APC.

Godfatherism is well and truly a PDP culture which they've found difficult to eschew.

The newest dimension is even godmotherism which Mama Peace as fully embraced . She's an exponent of this term a toga she even wears with pride.

I ask this question because of the happenings recently. It seems most of the so called godfathers in the PDP that have held the country in a political choke hold all these years are gradually being phased out of that party, taking Obasanjo's recent exit (if this is really true) as a case point. Also considering men like Tinubu, Atiku, and now Obasanjo as their main driver in the APC ...I mean, these men are the godfathers of godfatherism. I might be wrong about this but I think it is worth analysing.
If this is true, does this mean a New PDP is being born under GEJ?
