Apt Suleman has prophesied that already.

He didn't prophesy anything. He got those things he said from a Black American pastor that had been trending online already. Every thing the man said was what Suleman repeated.

Isolation takes about 14 days, I think. So be patient and wait for 2 weeks to elapse. Something tangible will be revealed soon, it is inevitable. Questions like these for now do no good but fuel suspicions and rumors.

Nairaland / General / Wonder What The White Powder In A Latex Glove Is? by Dewze(m): 1:53pm On Mar 27, 2020
Ok, I wore a latex gloves for the first time in my life today, all thanks to coro bobo. When I took it off later, I realized that both of my hands where white like I had leprosy. I wondered why, only to check and discover that the gloves where laced with some white powder. To tell the truth, it got me a bit paranoid undecided, "I hope these people have not started using this Corona virus fear as a means of spreading anthrax or some other kind of virus through latex gloves", I thought to myself grin. Like I said, I had never worn a latex gloves before and so did not know what to expect. Typical of me, I quickly went into Google to research on it and to my relief and enlightenment found out that the powder was not uncommon in latex gloves and that they are actually put in there for a reason.

I am sure that like me, a whole lot of people will be using these gloves for the first time this period and also like me, will be wondering what it is. If you are, well here is some answers:

If you have ever used latex gloves, you must find that there is some white powder inside latex gloves. Most people may not know what is the powder that inside the gloves.

It is Cornstarch Powder. The cornstarch makes the gloves easier to put on and slip off, especially in busy situations that empolyees need to replace the gloves constantly. It can also prevent gloves from sticking together and keep your hands dry and comfortable, which enable the gloves more resistant to tear and rip than non powdered latex gloves. The cornstarch powders are applied to gloves near the end of the manufacturing process.

Reasons for Using Powdered Latex Gloves

1. To facilitate donning of gloves, making them easier to take on and off.

2. The powder can prevent gloves from sticking together.

3. The powder can keep hands dry and comfortable.

4. Powdered latex gloves are cheaper than powder free latex gloves.

So there you go. I hope that helps.

It is the touts that hang around computer village and do not own shops that will likely sell a thing like that to you, not the real sellers that actually own shops there. Now do your own research and find out the tribe of most of those touts that hang around computer village.

Daily Trust: In layman language, what is cryptocurrency mining?

Owen: Cryptocurrency mining is a process performed by high-powered computers to solve complex computational maths problems (that is, so complex that they cannot be solved by hand, and indeed complicated enough to tax even incredibly powerful computers). When this process is carried out on the Bitcoin network, it unearths new coins (similar to the process of extracting gold from the ground). In the process of solving these computational math problems, miners also contribute to making the network more trustworthy and secure.

The question is, how many of these keke are on the roads of Liverpool? In Lagos, they are swans, hundreds of them all over the place, causing holdups, scratching cars and all sort of mayhem and not excluding bikes etc. I am worried about the hardship but mehn, those guys from Chad, Niger, Cameroon are taking over the south and it's scary to imagine what will happen years from now if left unchecked.

Your fears are understandable and it is true that these Okada riders can constitute a menace, but must everything be ban ban ban to you Nigerians? Have you not heard of regulations. It is only insincere and especially lazy minds that see only ban as a solution because it involves little or no effort to do so. Just sit on a round table in a room with AC and juice for refreshment, agree on a decision, the next thing is to make a pronouncement, that is all it takes. The ones making this policies do not have to suffer a bit of the effect of their decision. Sincere, creative and working minds see regulations as a less harmful and more productive way to solve problems. Let's face it, Nigerian policy makers are just apathetic and mentally lazy.

Ask your self, do those guys from Chad, Niger and Cameroon you mentioned ride opay and Gokada? So why where they banned as well?

Kokwo.com is the answer. It protect our culture, our communities and connect us. kokwo.com is a website for people looking for market to shop and the respective market days of each of the local markets, especially those who are tired of faceless shop owners with zero personal touch.

Les't we forget
Kokwo.com helps to connect everyday shop owners in respective automated local markets with the public, for product advantage and gainful deals.

true, I'm an Igbo guy but I can tell you that the hausas are liberal too. Go to the north, especially yobe state and you will see a lot of igbos is the civil service. Yes no political appointment but they get entry level employment. But you can't see such here in the south east

I guess a reason is that there are way more educated and qualified igbos in the north than there are educated and qualified hausas in the South East. That disparity can influence a great deal the amount of non native civil servants you find in these places.

Mine.... I made sure I swore for him.. He eventually called me seven years later.. saying it seemed he was cursed, nothing was working for him.. He even had to come back to Nigeria.. He actually needed me to pray for him..

Probably if you had prayed for him or let him be rather than curse him, he would have done well and maybe eventually payed back like the OP's case. Instead you cursed him, now he is doing badly and you did not get your money.

Let's use the word, misleading. I've come across a thread where the OP noted the same thing, especially the fake offers. I only recollected it when it happened to me. Guy just appeared & poof. And you know how many views you will get normally on your advert within a month, compare it to now when it's mostly the paid ones that fill up the whole front-page. Will soon delete my profile

Paid ones will normally get the priorities (top page), that is how it is supposed to work, what else did you expect?
