Politics › Re: PDP Makes Ali Sheriff Chairman by Dexema(m): 5:33pm On Feb 16, 2016 |
okuneddie: is this not the same man we heard supported boko haram when they first started? I have being saying it all these politicians are they same. We are the pawns in their game till they are scared of we the populace they will always take us for granted......everyone of them PDP, APC and the likes and we still have some youths that think they don't have better future ready to die for these men SMH. Meanwhile...
Once there was a bus conductor, who was very rude to his passengers.
One day a beautiful young girl, of around 18 years, tried to board the bus, but he didn't stop the bus.
Unfortunately the beautiful young girl came under the bus and died on the spot. Angry passengers took the conductor to the police station, who in turn took him to the court.
The judge was not at all impressed with him and gave him capital punishment.
He was taken to the electrocution chamber. There was a single chair in the center of the room . The conductor was strapped to the chair and high voltage current was given to him. But to everyone's amazement, he survived. The judge decided to set him free, and he returned to his profession.
A couple of months later, an elderly gentleman tried to board the bus.
This time the Bus conductor, remembering his earlier experience stopped the bus. Unfortunately the elderly gentleman slipped and died due to his injuries. The conductor was taken to the police station and then to the court, to the same judge. Though he hadn't done anything wrong, but considering his past record the judge decided to set an example and gave him capital punishment.
The Bus conductor was again taken to the same electrocution chamber where there was a single chair in the center of the room. He was strapped to the chair and high voltage current was given to him.
This time he died instantly !!!!!!!!!!!
The question is why didn't he die on the first occasion but died instantly the second time??
Okay........ here is the Answer............
During the first time the conductor was a Bad Conductor, therefore electricity didn't pass through him. But during the second time, he was a good conductor, so electricity passed through him freely and he died !!!! Physics never go wrong....
Don't look at me!! I am also looking for the Person who sent me this... nice! |

if any evidence surfaces now tying ali modu sheriff to boko haram and the government in power decides to probe some people will come and shout witchhunting, all pdp needs is to steady their ship, but I think they just threw the captain overboard. |

Gory pictures, kudos to the force and vigilante guys and RIP to the innocents. by the way why do most governor's shy away from signing the death papers for armed robbers caught in active duty or those who aren't first time defaulters? if the law says it's death then why shying away from their duties? politics won't ruin us in this country. |

if there is one thing and only one thing I will take away from this thread it's that the statement that " yorubas have NOTHING in common with benin is a fat lie!! on the other hand I think politics and geographical marginalisation has caused the relationship between these monarchs to be strained and distant. |

mulattoclaro , spanishkid , Enahi This is an insult on benin kingdom and Edo state in general ..
Yorubas are land grabbers ... They will soon claim warri kingdom as the territory I bet you didn't listen to the history of warri and its king (olu) by warri elders and chiefs on sunrise daily, warri might not be Core yorubaland but has a lot of history intertwined even the kingship (throne). |

cococandy: No sexism but it's okay if it was the man? According to whose law?
Oh boy. on a final note, this is africa, Nigeria where a considerable chunk of resources for family upkeep is "expected" to be provided by the husband and hence the supporting role played by the wife, I hope you do get my drift, different lands, different laws, practices and ideals. |

Romance › Re: I'm In Love With An Older Lady With Two Kids by Dexema(m): 10:45am On Feb 11, 2016 |
cococandy: If she's a good person what's unbalanced about the union?
Would you say the same if he was the one with the kids and older then her?
And what has her occupation got to do with it? Militarized? What does that even mean
All this skepticism boils down to so much unfounded assumption and prejudice rooted in sexism. Simple and short. there is no sexism here just plain reality, if the reverse were the case it would be allowable because the male is supposed to be the MAN in the house, or how does he act his role as a man in the house with no income? by just bleeping her? or haven't we seen cases where husbands lost their jobs and became frustrated thanks to their wives, and by the way I know what I mean by "militarised " women as I have come in contact with many force women and trust me very few of them are submissive and peaceful on the homefront . |
Romance › Re: I'm In Love With An Older Lady With Two Kids by Dexema(m): 10:34am On Feb 11, 2016 |
cococandy: OP If you can handle being a step parent, then you can do it. As long as you're sure your visions align and you're compatible with her.
The only reason people are telling you to run is because of their prejudices against single mothers which stems from sexism and nothing else. I bet if you were a single lady asking this about a single dad whom you're considering marrying, nobody would see it as taboo. Instead you may even be made to look bad for your unwillingness to jump in and be a perfect step mom for his kids.
So pls don't base your decisions on the opinions borne out is chuavinism. Rather your real concerns should be in your ability to be a step dad to kids that aren't yours. It's not easy. But If you believe you can pull it off, then you've nothing to worry about.
A good person is a good person regardless of whether she's a single mom or young girl that has never had a boyfriend. Ask those who married virgin women and still ended up unhappy or divorced. hi cococandy from my own point of view the age is the least of the issues on ground, hell I can marry an older mature woman once the love is there. but the main issue is 2 KIDS who are almost adolescents + a militarised woman whose history and background remains hazy, then compare with a 26yr old jobless graduate with very little relationship experience (he has been dating her since he was 22). it doesn't just balance, if the woman truly loves him and she doesn't have any ulterior motive(s) she should free him and look for an older more stable man, btw she's not too old herself. |
