Candidly, what we've around us are ladies with various standard and pre-requisite for dating a man. If we want to discuss on "seeing-the-future" with a man, then we need to go back-in-time. Too many ladies wan eat beans wey don done, no one wan follow man select the panty.

Donald, na interview you dey do? We're "gifted" than each-other. I personally have my way of chatting ladies up outta here. I've encountered those that just respond with - no, ok, yes, good, maybe, nothing, alright. These things can be annoying esp if you've been talking for minutes yet it poses no probs. The solutions are:
1. Observe the atmosphere - The position/point of contact/meeting might not be comfortable for a chat-up. Sequel to that, you do a quick move and save her further inconveniences.
2. Be a woman - If she isn't your lady, definately you'd be lost on what discussion she'd loved but you shouldn't be lost on what every-woman discuss. If you handle it properly, you'll end up making her the "talkative"

I sympathize with you on the loss of your mum. You really have to dig-deep and work the solution from your inside. Such happens but be aware that your emotional stress isn't an excuse to lose your girl. Most ladies have nagging-in-built. It's often borne by jealousy or caring for you. At the point of anger outburst and hot-exchange, most principles aren't remembered to be used. Hence, you play-the-fool by remaining silent or move away. That will assuredly save you from naughty reactions. Be good and try not hitting her again.

I think the gift(s) is "his way" of getting you attracted to him. He actually wants something much more than friendship. It's hard to believe you feel nothing "extra" for this your teenage friend; all along the years. Yet, as that seem to be a clear statement, i'd advise you both remain just as it were. I wouldn't like the "used-to-be" tag on him as you've declared him to be a good friend. If your GF has been quarreling with you about an attitude or behavior i would advise you work on it.If you've been the one raising dust about her attitude she better adjust otherwise sooner than later the complainer will start resenting the object of her complaints. Quarrels are meant for issues to be trashed out and resolved.
