Buhari would send his agents to the venue, so they could kidnap her, place her in a crate, ship her to Nigeria via a PJ......... cheesy
The only problem with this plot is.....
This is 2020/2021 not 1984

Happy Married life to them and congratulations on the anniversary

Some Northerners are fooling themselves thinking they are fooling Buhari

Buhari married twice, one at a time after a divorce, he sent his children to the best schools in the world married his children to the richest and strongest elite

Northerners on the other hand marry multiple wives, gives birth to multiple children, and make their kids hawk, go to farm, become Almajiri, or uneducated Herdsmen

Now the Almajiri kids are Adults and turned Boko Haram, and Bandits, yet the affected Northerners blame Buhari for their choice of lifestyle and parenting

.

This reality is unfortunate

Most ppl r shouting “impossible”

If anyone had told u pple ten years ago dat fulani herdsmen will today...be killing southern pple in their farms.. you wld hv said it was impossible too... Well look at it happening ryt b4 ur eyes.

U tink ds Fulani terrorists don't knw dat dey can't use d same tactics dey used in the north to conquer d south?

U think dey don't have a plan laid out to do it anyway?

During d lockdown..we all saw everyday in the news how hundreds of them were caught trying to sneak into the south.

Dose were just d unfortunate ones dat were caught o...

Now dat ders no lockdown again... imagine the amount of fulani parasites dat have swooped in unchecked.

Their numbers must b huge... and dey maybe planning a sudden attack

Nd some online warriors are here shouting “impossible”

Instead of being United... Southerners are more divided dan b4... nd u think u can win against a United force backed with arms and sponsorship... Think again.

Well said!
You really have foresight

I am strictly into foreign stocks but I have been reading up on the local stock market based off Dexter's and Emma's posts here.

I just want to confirm if the dividends on local stocks are also taxed. Like NYSE, we are taxed 30%.

Secondly, for a stock like Zenith, is the dividend paid quarterly?

10% WHT is what you pay on dividends
You will get the net amount

For Zenirh (and a couple of banks anyways)
Dividends is paid typically twice in a year
An interim dividend
And a final dividend

I use Trove and United Capital ....

You need to fill an e dividend mandate form to get your dividends from Zenith
Veritas is the registrars for Zenith
Thats why I said you shoulf sort yourself out with them

I hope you understand where I am coming from

At an average price of N130 for Dangcem, I will continue to enjoy the N16 dividend payments (12.3% dividend yield) and possibly increase in dividend payments in the next 3-5years. Capital appreciation already is jara on top of the investment.

That's awesome

Slow and steady investments win always.

I introduced a friend to NSE...he bought Dangcem at N130, sold at N160 and japaa

When Dangcem reached N200...he started regretting why he sold at N160.

I told him in stock market, when your tummy is full, you sell and go away; not looking back to avoid pillar of salts effect of Lots' family.
I like the way you put it.

My average price for Zenith is below N15....but I can't resist the dividend yield from below N19. ...you know I hardly sell my stocks
We seem to have similar investment objectives

I haven't seen much effect of low NTB rates in NSE.....

Most stocks in NSE are still undervalued.

I think if the low fixed income rates remain low, stock prices may peak more next year.....as more fixed income investors will start paying attention to NSE. Also, Pension Fund Managers will prefer to go into dividend paying stocks that are still having at least 10% dividend yield.

Am not seeing further naira devaluation till 2023, so more FPIs may come into NSE and japaa before 2023 election.
The bolded is exactly my point

Never say never in NSE.....Land of possibilities

I was expecting ETI to be trading below N4 due to their poor performance in Q3...

....suprised seeing same ETI at N6.20 today.
Like you said
Never say never
I mean if accessbank is still dragging legs like this despite all the prospects
Then indeed anything can happen
If Zenith just slips into 19.95, fishermen will cast their net en masse
And before you know it
Its back to N21

Those fishermen (you inclusive lol) are many and are waiting

That said
Sometimes this our market mind boggles me (if that English is correct)
How can a company like Zenith have a P/E ratio of less than 4?
Despite everything
If Zenith were to be listed in NYSE, I'm sure it will be selling for N60+ if not more based on the fundamentals and prospects
It's my thoughts sha

It depends on many factors....the bonds maybe selling at premium price then...the economic variables in this Emefiele time.....na case studies even in Harvard Business School self... grin grin

Investors that bought long term FGN Bonds are in good profits now despite getting good coupon yields at discount prices
I hope Emefiele keeps the status quo like this (for my own selfish reason anyways, not really that what he is doing is 100% right)

Because once T Bills rate and other rates inch up again
Asset prices in our equities market will collapse
Now I cant say the extent of the collapse
But guaranteed it wont bode well for equities

Nigeria don take style enter the same trap America don enter undecided

No Sir.....is for those that are still doing NTB at ridiculous rates.

I have better alternatives in equities

I concur
Anyone who buys Zenithbank at current prices is SURE to get a 9-10% dividend return in April (and as side bonus, some capital appreciation too )

However Zenith may drop in Jan/Feb (not so likely; but it is possible, hence anyone buying then may get a higher dividend yield then)
But a 9-10% return in less than 6 months is not such a bad idea if you ask me

You keep making reference to his English and I always wonder to what end. You are not the only person who reads what he writes yet you have appointed yourself as sole lecturer to mark his English.
You do not know his story. You do not know what obstacles he probably had to surmount to get to where he is. You do not know if what life was for him. Other than a username, everything else are just conjectures.
He could just be someone who feels very proud of his accomplishments compared to where he was before against all odds. Give the man some slacks and ignore all his post if his "igris" offends your sensitivity that much.

I think you have taken this e-fight too personal since August or July, this is December. Snooze pass his post and you will not see his shalaye and bad english, life is short boss.
