Meanwhile can any mama tell me what I can give my almost ten months old in place of milk? He has stopped taking milk both formula and bm? Just like that is it safe ok for his age not to have any milk at all? I use banana or pureed apple to sweeten his cereals without milk but I feel it's not sufficient

Today is the fourth day without a milk feed. Will be going to the hospital on Monday but I'd like to know if any mom has experienced this

Note he eats well any food I give him that doesn't have milk.

my kids suck their thumb, I have tried and tried to stop them but nothing so I just left them, one morning before we starting praying the 4year old just said "I must stop sucking my thumb today" and we said we will help you thru it. I think they will stop on Their own. However suckers are accurate thinker too, so we need them to better our world

No oh,I don't think I want to wait for them to stop on their own, have you taken you time to see how they look when sucking seriously? (dont mean to sound rude but Most of them look lost and dumb and its annoying).
The disadvantage outweighs the advantage so I must not relent oh.
My DH was indifferent about it before,but when he saw his friend's daughter sucking and looking annoying no be person tell am to join me in the fight.

Serious sense oh,imagine my first baby that is trying to suck,I av used mitten(I don't know how he removes it entirely or get his thumb out), I av tried bitter leaf( that one is like toppings on icecream ), I av tried aloevera(he won't just give up).so what I do now is spank his hand when I catch him sucking,but he still won't give up,when he want to suck he pulls a pillow close enuf to cover his hand and mouth. But the fight is not yet over,I will never allow him suck,when his mate will be listening in class he will be in another world sucking MBANU,NEVER we will fight to the finish.

No iya ibeji, don't mix in baby tribotan. It's also not advised 2 b used as a long term creme. Y not mix Shea butter n coconut oil instead. Mixing of skineal, funbact A, baby tribotan n d rest 2 baby creams has a long term effect like liftedhands said.

Skineal is harmful to babies skin. It contains steroids, corticosteroid creams damages the skin if used for long as a daily cream. It's usage shouldn't exceed a week in adults cos it begins to shed the skin off its natural protection thus making it light, thin and prone to infections. Prolonged use can result in damaging consequences when stopped as the body becomes addicted to it and starts to react negatively. The problem you are trying to solve by using it could become aggravated and more difficult to treat.
I won't advice using it on babies as their skin is very delicate but if you must please don't exceed 5 days at a stretch.

I use it for their body and butt too
Its Shea butter,skineal and aleovera jel. I melted the Shea butter for better mixing ,then solidified it afterwards.

My 2months plus 2weeks daughter is sneezing and coughing. The cough is occasional but the sneezing is kind of frequent. A nurse recommended ampiclox drop but I just read about it online and cough was not mentioned. My mum think I should get ampicillin drop that it's mild since the cough is not serious. Experienced mamas I need ur input abeg. My I even wan try sugar and red oil but I'm not sure if it stops sneezing or only cough.

I will suggest you just give her vit c ,and cover her up well,cos of the weather,you can massage her with metholatum too at the back,rib cage and chest region.
For the sugar and oil thing,av used it too and it worked,but if you are going to use it make sure its st. Lious sugar and don't give within 2-3 hours with other drug as oil tend to disrupt the potency of drugs and might cause her to throw up.
