You might be surprised to know the affected parents may not be aware their sons or children are involved in the whole drama.

A parent who is not aware of the child's behavior should look inwards.

It took my dad less than one month to find out I've joined a clique and he withdrew me from school for a one session. That was a drastic action then but it paid off today.

Even the Bible said, if you have to lose your arm to save your life, by all means do it.

Every parent has the sole responsibility to engage his or her ward and know what they are up to.

Never mind my young friend. You need to understand the deep pain that family passes through right now. It is called the “nightmare of parents”. Seeing the death of their biological children. I've seen the ills of boarding school, trust I've seen it.

The disadvantages outweighs the advantages. Drug abuse, same sex copulation, bullying, extortion, cultism et al.

Not that this things don't exist in day schools but the the fact remains that parents can most times detect an issue before it generates to worst circumstances, like the one we have before us now.

My brother the matter tire person. But truth be told, when we are suffer a particular things and call it toughness, you would not know the damage it does to you (you here does not imply you Collinnss).

We pass through waking up early hours of the morning sometimes by 4:30? To prove what exactly?

We are accorded manual labour of cutting grass for 2 to 3 hours sometimes. To prove that we are physically or mentally strong or what?

Most of us are mentally broken but we won't accept that fact. Why would I flog a fellow student 12 strokes of the cane just to prove my seniority. To what end?

Yes we could read and push ourselves to the limit but I can bet to a reasonable extent that boarding schools never produced the best brains.
