Read your history well.. Anini was shot in the leg by the guy that caught him.. When he denied he wasn't the one. It was after that he confessed to been the one they've been looking for..
My broda I tire for his account because that wasn't what I was told huh shocked.

Modified: He corrected the story.

sunnysunny69:
He is a kid robber when you compare him with Lawrence Anini. Anini killed more police, snatched car from Assistant inspector general of police Christopher Omeben, killed his driver, attack and nearly killed state commissioner of police, he robbed more banks than any one in Nigeria history, had biggest robbers as at the time working under him . Even Babangida feared him with the dare way anini operates. I will accept Oyenusi has more juju and often disappeared according to history.

When anini was captured, one of his leg had to be cut off, all part of fear of not letting him escape but under the disguise he's injured
You wrote the bolded. How sure are you about this? Just curious because I heard a different version of the story although you are not far from the truth.

Business › Re: South East Businessmen Don’t Repay Loans, Bank Of Agriculture Laments by dfrost: 8:46am On Jun 01, 2017
Mynd44:
So a rep of the bank came out to make this BS statement and for some reason, his backside was not fired and also a overhaul was not ordered into the operations of that branch? What is wrong with this country?

These guys just admitted that they have not been properly doing their job when it comes to investigating those who apply for loans. How can a businessman act like a farmer to ask for a loan and you did not know? Did you have discussions with him about his plans for the farm, the different farming techniques the challenges and he aced it? Questions only a farmer will know. So someone claims to be a bean (for example) farmer and he will know how many weeks it takes a particular strain of beans to grow? Or the expected weight of a chicken at 12 weeks?

Dont they go with them to their farms to do assessment and follow up assessment? So when the diversion of funds start (for farmers but got "better ideas" and decided to go into business)

Have they tried people who divert such loans in court? Have they sent the EFCC after the criminal people who take loans and not pay back? What is wrong with these people?
Mynd44 all these questions you asked are valid and appropriate questions. Bankers are mostly concerned with the initial percentage on the loan (2% or thereabout). Due diligence is no longer employed. I remember when I was trying to open a current account with UBA when I was in school, the account officer came to where I was staying to confirm. Just current account not loan. shocked

Agreed that there are corrupt people in the NE and NW as you said, in fact, there are corrupt people everywhere in this country, does that mean the EFCC should not do their job?
Correct question. Infact I will be shocked if the SE/SS are not happy about the revelations. The development in most parts of Nigeria is nothing to write home about compared to the funds generated. I will be happy if someone fumigates my house before fumigating his own.

Don't go there. That was my hobby tongue. I was always dancing in the rain. Even on my way back from school, if it starts raining, I'll alight from the bus with my classmates and play under the rain all the way home.

Health › 7 Signs You Are A Pluviophile by dfrost(op):
1. You Find Comfort In The Rain
There’s something about the rain that just takes you to nirvana. You can relax and be at a state of peace with yourself. You don’t feel gloomy when it rains, but instead you find joy and happiness. You enjoy staying in and watching Netflix on your couch while eating a bowl of popcorn or you also enjoy reading while sipping on some hot cocoa. The rain makes you feel safe and sound.

2. You Enjoy Being Outside
You don’t care if it’s raining. If you want to go out to buy some groceries, you will go out without any hesitation, just like it’s any other normal day. But what you enjoy the most is not reaching your destination, but getting there. You enjoy walking on the streets seeing other people hurrying up or you enjoy the cab ride because you can stare out the window all day. Your friends may not like to hang out when it’s raining, but that’s okay. The only company you need is the rain.

3. You Just Want To Bottle Up That "After Rain" Scent
The smell on the streets while it’s raining and after it had rained is something I just want to bottle up. Luckily, there are some perfume brands that have tried to make that wet and rainy scent. The smell of the rain just comforts me. It’s like breathing fresh air. It’s moist and cold and it smells so good.

4. You Love The Darkness Of The Sky
I personally hate it when it’s sunny. The sky is so bright and blinding and the heat stings my skin a little. But when it’s raining and the sky is gray, you can finally look up and enjoy the view. You can see the dark clouds and you can see the raindrops falling from the sky. It’s like the darkness of the sky just balances everything out.

5. You Never Leave Your Window
I just love watching the rain fall from the sky. I love rain gazing (if that’s even a thing). I love counting the raindrops on my window. I love watching the raindrops race to the bottom and see which one will win. I love watching the people outside either hate or enjoy the rain. I love seeing that different side to the world. I love that beautiful darkness the rain brings..

6. You Don’t Mind Getting Soaked In The Rain
I feel invincible in the rain, like I could do anything. I don’t care if I get a cold the next day. I don’t mind getting my clothes wet. I like feeling the water on my skin. I like feeling the cold and moist air whoosh through my body. Being in the rain makes me feel alive. It makes me feel free from all my worries, troubles and fears because all that matters is that moment. You might get a fever in the next couple of days, but it was worth it.

7. You Could Listen To The Sound Of Rain All Day
The sound of rain is music to my ears. It makes a different sound every time the raindrops hit something different, like the metal railing on the sidewalk or the leaves on the trees. Whether the rain is light and soft or fast and hard, the sound is just so relaxing and nice to listen to. I don’t need to blast my speakers on rainy day. The sound of the rain will do just fine.

Abandoned aircraft at David Monthan Airfield, Arizona, USA.

This is the world’s largest airplane boneyard, where the previous aircraft bodies from the US Marines, the US Navy, the US Army, US Airforce and the US Coast Guard now ‘lay to rest’ for scrapping, recycling or historical purposes.
If the picture is for a boneyard, I don't think it can be termed abandoned, since it can serve other purposes such as recycling and historical. What do you think?

Corporate and cultural wears are subject to interpretation here. The suit is a corporate attire to most except the African continent. Osinbanjo is not running afoul of any protocols there.
Please check my post again. I didn't opine that he is running afoul of any protocols rather just stating that he should (not must) at least look like the others.

By African, you supposedly excluded Kenyatta right?

Once in a while, it wouldn't be bad to see our reps in such meetings/summit wearing a suit. I'm not against being yourself or portraying your culture but heck... this is corporate summit not a cultural summit. I maybe wrong though, albeit expressing my personal opinion.
