ElsonMorali: True. But nobody prays to lose both hands right? and as long as you have your hands intact then wear your ring. Okay. Of course nobody is praying for that but things do happen. Nobody should cheat, ring or not. That's my own. Any who does that is a very immature person. |

Gerrard59: 1. What I implied is: couples/individuals should prepare ADEQUATELY for any unforeseen circumstance that might occur. However, things happen. If the couple procreate children more than they can ADEQUATELY take proper care of, giving some for adoption (using your case, give out 4 take in three) is not a bad idea if you ask me. In summary, before the act of procreation is initiated, people should prepare. Have a plan A, B and even C.
2. It might sound harsh. Unfortunately, most Nigerians tend to learn the harsh way. Yes, nobody wishes to be a mis-fit in the society, the more reason people should give birth to the number of children they can ADEQUATELY take proper care of. Most miscreants come from families where: children were 7, 8, parents not earning enough, poor environment etc. For parents to give their child(ren) the best (education, healthcare, nutrition, good environment, good parental care; which every child deserves), they should give birth to the number of children they can ADEQUATELY take proper care of.
Thank you. Thank you. I like your style of conversing intelligently. I agree with you on point 1. On point 2, I agree with you but not totally. My grandparents had 13 albiet 10 are surviving. None is a miscreant. Let me surprise you the more: they grew up in Ajegunle. Go figure. |

adebobconed: Depends on the type of automatic tranny in the vehicle For example you can jumpstart a 1987 mercedes benz 230E (Automatic) by putting in in neutral then towstart(push d car) it, then shifting it back to 3 or 2 and returning to neutral after the engine has started to prevent damaging the tranny That's quite risky what you just described. That said, it is an exception and not the rule. Automatic vehicles can't be jump-started. If there's an exception, no problem. |

ElsonMorali: Your wedding ring isn't supposed to be some sort of amulet or charm that automatically stops you from committing adultery, it's supposed to be a reminder of your status, a reminder of the vows you professed in the presence of God, a reminder of the responsibility waiting for you at home, a reminder of the love you professed to your wife on your wedding day in the presence of family and friends...
I could go on ad infinitum. Thanks for this response. The bolded is the correct answer I wanted to hear. Thumbs up bro. However, what if the man/woman loses both hands in an accident? If one's heart is not straight with his/her partner, ring will not stop him/he from cheating. |
Family › Re: Simple Ways Families Can Manage Cost During Recession by dfrost: 11:06am On Nov 15, 2016 |
Gerrard59: Thanks a lot. Most especially number 8. Nigerians should please learn family planning, don't give birth to children you can't take ADEQUATE care of (it's cheap to procreate and expensive to RAISE; properly). Thereby increasing the number of ridiculous individuals in the society.
Another one: don't LEND (no matter what) money to anyone during this period. Most Nigerians are bad debtors. . 1. Family planning is key but have you thought about multiple babies no one plans for, or you are saying that a couple that discovers that the woman's first pregnancy will produce septuplets, should terminate some and leave a few? Please clarify. 2. That statement is really harsh. Haba bros . Nobody is ridiculous. Time, opportunity and environment are the factors that affects humans. Nobody obviously wants to be a miscreant. Don't be offended if my response makes you feel otherwise. Who am I to tell you what to say or type, it's your opinion. Adiós amigo. |

Quite funny and impossible (not almost impossible but very, very impossible).
To start with, King Solomon's daily provisions for food (1Ki 4:22, 23; NIV) states:
Solomon’s daily provisions were thirty cors[a] of the finest flour and sixty cors[b] of meal, ten head of stall-fed cattle, twenty of pasture-fed cattle and a hundred sheep and goats, as well as deer, gazelles, roebucks and choice fowl.
NB: 30 cors = That is, probably about 5 1/2 tons of flour 60 cors = That is, probably about 10 tons of flour 10 heads of fattened cows 20 cows 100 sheep (and probably goats)
