Celebrities › Re: Chioma Akpotha Welcomes Another Grandchild [PICS] by dfrost: 1:00pm On Oct 24, 2016
Wiseandtrue:
In Igbo land the first SON and Daughter has a lot of role to play in their families.
Where the father kick the bucket the FIRST SON assumes the role. Where it is the Mother, the FIRST DAUGHTER called Ada takes over.
All the FIRST DAUGHTER in Igbo land are called Ada.
So Chioma in this scenario is simply assuming the role of her mother.
I hope this explanation helped.
Thanks, well-explained, albeit does that pass the rights of grandma to her? huh

AreaFada2:
Wrong.

No call to serve fatherland is too small. Retired Brig. Buba Warwa, who was Lagos State Military governor later became Nigerian ambassador to South Africa I think.

In developed countries, some former prime ministers become cabinet ministers and sometimes prime ministers again. Benjamin Natanyahu is an example. Vlad Putin left presidency to be prime minister and president again. Also common in the Low countries & Scandinavia.

But in 9ja, bigmanity blinds people & make them puff-headed. shocked
Nice examples but obviously not the best because the bolded you quoted had scores to settle with some people or countries. Find out more about them.

I love it people act selfless. It still shows that there's hope for humanity.
My dear sister, there's more than enough hope for humanity else God won't bother sending his Son to die for us. John 3:16.

On the other hand, I guess her husband showed her what real love is, that's why she's reciprocating. Kudos to the couple.

smileyYou must be really pissed.... That's why I like Family section, there are lots of level headed people here who still give constructive argument no matter how much angry they seems without insult..... it is called maturity....Romance and political section does not have that... someone like me that cherish my respect, I hardly click that button except if it was on trending...

.
Same here. I don't understand why some people behave like savages in the Politics and Romance Section. Even family atimes.

Gosh. I know of someone who believes he/she has prowess in vocabulary but will not hesitate to unleash invectives on any who quotes his/her post negatively. A mature person never resorts to invectives and cursing.

It depicts lack of or poor upbringing.
