VickyRotex:Yes got it. Kindly check your mailbox now. |
olapluto:Hi olapluto I feel your pain on the blame placed on Islam. Funny enough is that religion as a whole (none is excepted) has caused much destruction to humanity. Back in the days, it was the Church of England that was burning those who owned a copy of the Bible. Imagine such monstrous atrocity! Sometimes you just have to allow such comments slide by... Shalom! |
Abugab:It's really worrisome honestly. I'll continue to blame parents (75%) for such incidents. What deliverance can not be done in the presence of the parents? Are they too busy to stay with the LO or what? Poor kid will have to cope with the trauma for the rest of her life. |
VickyRotex:Yep did that too (checked the SPAM folder ). Okay expecting your mail. |
Abugab:Thanks mate. |
VickyRotex:I didn't receive your pm, although I've sent my mail id to you. |
Chinwendym:I couldn't have agreed less. Perfect response to the married woman. Don't dignify the trespasser with a response. Silence is golden. I have a friend that once complained about the hubby coming late from work all of a sudden (a trait he never exhibited when they got married newly). She queried my advice on the matter and I told her to simply ignore the matter and carry on like nothing happened. Today she enjoys the matrimony once again. Prayer, Patience and Silence can work issues out. |
Abugab:Kai bros, you're wicked @sumo wrestlers. I've really enjoyed NL for the past 4 days because I'm bedridden and the sense of homour of some folks here can assist in the healing process. |
bigiyaro:The matter tire me too. Kudos to parents of the 80s and backwards. They gave us the best we could ever ask for. |
DEXTROVERT:I think I support kossyablaze. Lack of parental responsibility. Parenting has really gone to the winds. 15 year-old? Suicide? It's really disheartening Parents should be able to teach their wards sex education. Some parents have little or no time for their wards... So sad... |
dearpreye:Does it imply that you read religious motivational books? |
VickyRotex:Yes a replica of Jack Bauer in 24. I'll send them to you maybe in an hour. I'm on the road now. pm your email address to me... |
dearpreye:Not at all dearpreye although my folks and my uncle advised us to read books that are not related to field in order to acquire knowledge and interact intelligently. Like I said earlier I prefer more of covert ops books. ![]() |
Thanks VickyRotex for sharing this thread with me. I'm on Vince Flynn novels (just a pity that cancer had to cut his life short). I've read most of his installations. His books are centered on covert ops featuring a fictional character named Mitch Rapp of Counter-Terrorism Unit of the CIA. I prefer covert ops because it enables me reason well on difficult situations. Some of his books are: Term Limits Transfer of Power Kill Shot The Last Man Currently I'm reading Power, Politics & Death by Olusegun Adeniyi. It discusses events surrounding late President's Yar'adua's death et al... |
Heritage7: :DMy brother where are we rushing to? I almost got carried away by same notion but that day I wanted to know where the driver was rushing to. In less than a minute, he parked by the roadside joint and hailed his friends waiting for him to join them in relaxing after the day's work. I laughed over the folly, honestly. So please don't chase after them unless its a car race... ![]() |
dearpreye:I quite agree with you on enforcement of laws by the responsible agencies, although we need to consider that humans should use their conscience as a moral compass that should guide them. What if one in flouting traffic laws hits someone down, will he/she be able to live with the guilt? Some people's conscience are more stronger than others... My humble submission. |
francababy:Even though some humans' IQ are low, doesn't give us right to prey on their so-called "gullible". It's just like rapists threatening/convincing their victims not to speak out after the action, doesn't make the victims dumb. I just feel sad when people, regardless of the gender, fall victim to conmen. Various circumstances attribute to falling a victim: Greed Frustration etc... |
Good for him. From Portugal to Spain to England... Now to France. Wish him the best. |
This is just not fair. Sometimes one wonders why they behave the way they behave. I'm not justifying their attitude against the civilians they swore to protect but we also need to look at what this men and women are passing through. Imagine meeting your secondary school classmate and you're driving a basic car and he has nothing to show for the years he has served in the army. It can be frustrating atimes. The FG should review their welfare package. Good a thing we now have a former officer as our C-in-C of armed forces. Fighting terrorism is not an easy one because terrorists are ready to die at any time... |
DTOBS:DTOBS am with you on this. ADM has said it all. There are things we are not privy to. His house was burgled which also affected him. Probably, prior to the incident, he never experienced such. We need to be fair on him. Also in their trade, players are known to move around. I'll take a player's word of staying in a particular club for a long time when I see it, not hearing it. Trauma of burglary can haunt one for the rest of the individual's life. ADM is also young in age which is also a contributing factor. That he even wrote a letter to the club and fans shows how he feels about the whole saga of his stay at MU and his transfer to PSG... |
The real issue is funding. Once the security agencies cuts off wherever their funds are coming from, then their threat and destruction will be minimized. It surely signs of the last days. Who could ever believe that Nigeria will be faced with such a dilemma. I really feel for those up North because we all have relatives over there. |
VickyRotex:Thanks VickyRotex. That's part of the reasons I only watch from the sidelines. Various types of people on the forum. So I don't want to get seared by comments that are inappropriate. Thanks for the compliment once again. |
sigiyaya:Haba bros. Man has been exhibiting various forms of wickedness since time immemorial. Hitler wasn't from any tribe in Nigeria, Saddam obviously isn't from Nigeria. Sometimes I fear that the worst is still coming... |
lgboks:Thanks bro. |
herhderk:I ponder over such too. Can we blame it on poor parenting, social media or people getting worse according to the Bible prophecies? Sometimes I'm afraid to even allow my loved ones outside. I also blame some parents. My neighbour overheard some boys in the neighborhood tell her teenage daughter that they'll rape one day because of her attitude and she laughed over it saying "you boys are not serious". Imagine that? |
M

I think it has to do how the parties view the game... One party may view it as a war (that losing makes you feel weak) while another party may view it as a sport (you lose some, you win some). It's two sides of the coin. It all depends where one looks at it from. To me it generates income to the journalists while making the game more interesting and captivating. |
mentorandfriend:You took it to be an insult rather I was complimenting you. I was assuming you read the Bible that was what I was implying because of the signature. That's all. As per no follower(s), six posts is largely due to the manner forumites respond to one's mention. So I prefer reading. Sorry if you misunderstood me. |
mentorandfriend:Your signature is only known by those who know ![]() |
No need to wish his daughters same treatment. Some men are just heartless. Can't wait for this wicked generation to pass away. I fear for my little son, honestly after I saw the boy that ripped apart that 4 year-old boy |
AKOWE: Definitely a Yoruba boy most likely from the rural area who came to town for the purpose of completing his education. Realities will make that impossible and he would end up been a vulcanizer or a carpenter. Because of his small stature, a lot of people don't know he is about 27 years old and that he has been secretly dating Bisi, the girl who sells Ewa Aganyi. Bisi's bulging stomach means Akowe must find a one room in face-me-I-face-you house. For other people, your in-law can call you Akowe with the serious hope that your visit (to her relief) is temporary. I thought AKOWE was for someone who tends to know a lot... ![]() |
When will we act like the Cameroonians? We claim to be the giant of Africa yet we cannot be found leading with small strides? A country! http://news.yahoo.com/photos/tribute-victims-boko-haram-rally-yaounde-photo-114420123.html
