What if you could pay for groceries with a wave of your hand? Well, 7-Eleven has brought this convenience to customers in South Korea this week.

The global chain of convenience outlets opened a new store on Tuesday at the world's fifth tallest building, Lotte World Tower. The store is testing a self-checkout system which allows you to pay with nothing but your hand. The news was announced on a blog post by Korea Seven, which manages the 7-Eleven franchises in South Korea.

If you're looking to try it, however, you might have to get a job at Lotte or one of its affiliated companies. The beta run, which lasts till end of July, will only serve Lotte staff.

The tech industry has worked on various efforts to simplify the purchasing process in recent years. It's previously focused on developing mobile wallets and biometric authentication methods such as fingerprint scanning and facial recognition.

The 7-Eleven Signature outlet will be the world's first unmanned convenience store to be equipped with HandPay. It's a biometric authentication method that identifies customers through palm scans. The system will identify the products being bought with a 360-degree scanning technique.

Only customers that have registered with HandPay will be able to enter the outlet. They'll need to scan the palm of their hand at the entrance of the store to confirm their identity.

The shop will be monitored by CCTVs, although Nikkei Asian Review suggests that flying drones could guard the outlet in future. CNET has reached out to Lotte Data Communication -- 7-Eleven's partner in this scheme -- to find out whether that's true.

It is unclear whether 7-Eleven plans to introduce this system in other countries.

It's difficult to accurately forsee a drug reaction.
Any person blaming this nurse is just out for mischief.
SR has formed a penchant for demonizing pple without doing proper investigation and just bcoz they are not based in Nigeria they feel they are immuned from whatever irreparable harm their sometimes shallow reporting does.
Fansidar(Amalar,Laridox), and Septrin too,are commonly prescribed drugs that a lot of pple are prescribed for& take without any adverse reaction whatsoever.Its even recommended that Fansidar b given to every pregnant woman at least thrice during d course of her pregnancy.
But d few that do react to their sulphur content can come down with dramatic reactions,which if not tackled promptly can really be devastating.
The only fault here is that d child was not promptly treated for d drug reaction,but d nurse or dr here cannot b charged for anything.
At d rate at which some of these badly investigated reports on Drs,hospitals &nurses are going in Nigeria, it may reach a point wen patients treatment are delayed due to fear of arrest or prosecution in Nigeria to d extent of that delay being a cause of many adverse outcomes in future,& not even d administration of a wrong drug or dosage!

but this young man never had the desire to be a pastor. he had finished his NYSC about 6 years ago when he had a genuine encounter with God and was called to walk with God. he never loved anything about the ministry. he had this weakness even before he had that encounter. do you think he should pretend he never heard from God and forget about this pastoral stuff or die serving God even if this weakness remains or goes?

Like I said earlier If his motive is to preach the gospel of salvation he can do it without being a pastor. If he has a weakness which everyman has don't you think the wise decision to take first is to find the solution that weakness? What if someone with similar weakness confronts him when he becomes a pastor and asks him what he should do, I'll presume he'll tell him to fast and pray.

Brother look beyond what you see today in the churches,before God will make a man a leader of His people that man must first be taught by God, he'll pass thru fire, severe trials and temptations that will mold the man to be able to give sound counsel to those who need it. (check the life of those God used in the bible) And he will be so detached from pleasing man whether the man be rich or poor they'll get same treatment from him. It's not a walk in the park, he should be very careful lest he does more harm than good.

You better forget that pastor thing and focus on your life.

How do you lead people to the light when you/your friend are even confused on what to do concerning your situation. Do you know that If any soul perishes from your congregation as a pastor you will answer to it? Whether you said all the truth without fear or favor or just allowed some things slip to keep them coming?

I pity all these so called self proclaimed/assumed pastors everywhere cause I've come to realize that many of them were called by their Belly and even out of those who were called only few will be chosen.
P. S. You don't have to be a pastor to preach the gospel of salvation if that is really your motive.

It makes some sense to me though, even as a Christian. If a man can truly love God and his neighbour, and bears no I'll will towards anyone in his heart, why would a loving God deny him access into heaven?

This is so true... So let me give you a little assignment for just a period of 1 week. In this next week, love everyone, be kind to all men, Don not lie not even a slight exaggeration, have no single evil desire or evil thought in your heart not even one, make sure you help d poor, do no evil thing, don't cheat, in all things love your neighbour and your enemies the same way you love yourself. If you can succeed in doing this for a week even a day with all sincerity and exactness then you'll surely make heaven without Christ.
