For the records, during tiefnubu tenure, its has alway been a siphoning machine for tinubu. then, the corp grew to have two officers as head, the group managing director and the CEO respectively. While one was on professional appointment which is the GMD, the other was there to protect tinubus interest and he even took more role than the professional head. Awhole lot went on as the place was badly managed such that the then CEO in person of muyiwa coker embezzled so much from tinubu's interest that tinubu felt it. before he could take any action, the ceo stop coming to office. it was during this period Alpha Beta Consulting, Lagos Revenue Generation Firm also suffice also in that same Water Corp Building. Since then, the corp haa never been the same. This is the same institution that still supplied half of lagos portable water in 1999. In 2000, PPP - Private Public Partcipation strategy was tried to revive the Corp but damage was deep in.By 2005, They has lost ground and confidence in people depending on them for water supply. With less people consuming water from the Corp, revenue dropped all time low. Borehole was on the rise. The Corp was a failed parastal and the only thing lasg could think is complete privatization. My bigger worry is this the privatization would be at the expense of the citizen. World bank has been finace the Corp as far back as i can remember. Lagos State since the time of tinubu have been uSng that medium to borrow frm World Bank. but with all the borrow, it is not imprving. If it is, tell me if you uSng tap water.

Before Tinubu became the governor of Lagos state we had tap water running in our compound,few months after he became the governor we stopped getting water from water cooperation till date.we had to rely on meruwa then later had to dig a borehole and i can see that that is not enough for him (my mind tells me this is his brain child)now he wants to enslave lagosians by controlling water supply and hike the bills as usual.
The way things are going in this lagos their is one thing i know that will happen for sure if nothing is done soon and that is EVERYONE WHO OWNS A BOREHOLE WILL SOON BE FORCED TO PAY 'BOREHOLE TAX'.

Unlike the one here in Nigeria whose mouth leaks like a basket...

Fornication is a sin against God and ones body.our body is regarded as the temple of God,hence

the sin of fornication makes the spirit of God flee from this abode (body) and makes one exposed

as the temple is now empty and anything can decide to feel it up.The Spirit of God when dwelling

in a man averts alot of unwanted happenings to an individual and only permits those that would

mould and purify him hence the passage in the bible that says 'everything happens together for

good for those who love the Lord', but when one engages in fornication and the spirit of God flees

from him the person is completely living a life of chance,any thing 'both good and bad' can

happen to the person.Badluck is not always about not having money u know,how about having all

the money in the world and then loosing all ones loved ones or even having a deadly sickness or

dying in a car accident after picking up your lottery win.

Alot of the yankees have sex alot and have alot of freak accidents too from very simple avoidable

The headquarters of Chisco Transport Limited in Lagos was gutted by fire yesterday.

The fire was said to have started after some hoodlums took advantage of a political campaign rally to throw substances suspected to be explosives into the premises of the transport company in apparent protest against President Goodluck Jonathan’s poster on a building beside Chisco’s head office.

According to a witness, who identified himself as Stanley, “it was when the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign train was passing during their political rally along Eko Bridge that some hoodlums supporting the party, took advantage of the rally to throw objects into the premises of the company when they saw President Jonathan’s billboard hung on the uncompleted building beside Chisco Head Office, thinking the premises belongs to the Federal Government.”

When Daily Sun visited the scene, the inferno had razed down about 25 luxury buses and trucks. Sources revealed that the building belongs to the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), a Federal Government parastatal sharing a common fence with the leading transport company.

An employee of the transport company, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told our correspondent, that the damage could have been worse if not for the quick intervention of some employees of the company who sprang into action to salvage the situation when they noticed the fire. The workers were said to have used the fire-extinguishers available in the premises to assist fire fighters from both the state and Federal Fire Service to put off the fire.

Today is another Friday the 13th and i was wondering if there is any significance to this date in Nigeria? As some say that alot of things tend to happen on any friday that falls on a 13th.so how true is this nairalanders.
