dicksonadams:Lol. I am in my early 30s. Thanks for your input, this additional info is of great help. |
MrJames007:Lol. Thanks for your input I will rock the match box, as long as it is reliable. At the moment, I will pick ability to deliver ahead of esthetic. My choice of Avalon and Element were from price point. They seem to be cheaper than some of the cars that share same engine with them even right now. |
nurey:Thank you so much for this. |
Thanks for all you do, Oga Gazzuzz and all the great minds here. I have a hard time choosing between these two cars, and I will really like your honest opinion on this; Toyota Avalon 2005-08; and Honda Element 2005 and above. Are they both reliable? I have no issue with fuel or shape. I look forward to your feedback. Thanks |
This is true. We need power supply. It is really important. However, one thing is even much more important which this post is focusing on, it is our mindset. Osun state generally have between 14 to 20hours of power supply every day and there is no single industry in the entire state, meaning they are doing nothing with the power they have. Starboytwo: |
It is possible, as a matter of fact, Tecno and Infinix assigns one imei to multiple devices without the knowledge of unsuspecting buyers. ..but of course, relevant authorities are not even concerned at all, not yet at least |
invigilator:...and these politicians are as dumb as this Yahoo boys right? Plus, so you no the number of pending corruption cases in courts? These politicians can literally bribe, intimidate the entire judiciary.....and even delay judgement for years! That is the difference. ..... As far as records shows, efcc never started with Yahoo boys, they started with politicians and they have convicted many people, several government official and have recovered billions from them. Can they do more, yes they can ans they will. But your narrative about Yahoo boy is totally wrong. A YAHOO BOY is as bad a CORRUPT POLITICIAN. |
invigilator:This is what you are getting wrong. you cant ever justify one crime by committing another. It makes no sense at all. Alot of stealing is going on in politics, absolutely. Sadly, efcc hasn't be able to perfect a way of nailing them. However, what you are saying now is since they can nail them, they should leave those they can nail? It is a very bad analogy. Those Yahoo boys are killing people elsewhere, and you and here justifying it with what politicians are doing? |
Yankee101:Tell me, Efcc should just say classified in court right? I am certain people like you will be the first to say there is no evidence at all. Becoming a Yahoo boy in Nigeria is easier than you think, none of those boys needed any of this info when they have Yahoo boys all over their street they can walk up to at any time. it is usually better to stay quiet than trying to criticize with a terrible point. How else do they running cases in all courts over the world please? Remember, this is an account of a journalist who was in court. |
invigilator:EFCC just called first witness as clearly stated in the news, meaning there may or may not be more witnesses. 2. How exactly do they nail people elsewhere please? one piece of evidence opens up another, and then another, Right? 3. Never has there been a clampdown on fraudsters like this before, and many of us are quite happy about it. It is easier to sit behind computer and say a whole lot. if you have a better way efcc can close cases fast, write them an email, that way you would have contributed your little quota. |
invigilator:Well, it's enough in law. There is identity theft, and it attracts several years. What I really dont understand is how people try to justify all these wrongs and they will still feel like they are making a point.? |
What is Customer’s Website Expectation Sales and Customer experience are most exciting opportunity to businesses and the reason is simple; companies that focus on users-to-customers conversion journey reduce churn and increase revenues – leading to higher profits! The Question is, how well are Nigerian banks delivering this good experience through Internet, especially website? Sometimes ago, I was trying to open an account with one of the leading banks in Nigeria via their website and I found their website very confusing with lots going on. I had to go to their bank branch to complete the process eventually. Many of the banks have basically focused more on functionality of their website leaving out the most crucial, customer’s experience. What is most disappointing is that over 90% websites from banks perform so poorly in giving users the best experience. From opening a new account to lodging complaints, customer’s need varies but they all have one question; “Can I get what I want Here?” Here is ranking of websites in Nigeria based on the following criteria; --Clear and Simple Communications/Messages --Ease of using the website, navigation and customer journey --Emotional connection with customers through Contents (Visuals and Images) 1. Sterling Bank I have never seen a better website in Nigeria that embeds all the basic customer and sales-oriented principles of designing a website. From categorizing their customer’s immediate purpose of visiting the website into personal, business and other; to connecting the joy of banking with Sterling through images with all their copies. I am struggling to pick a hole here! This website will easily win the best overall customer-centric website in Nigeria and that is why it came on top. Great Job Sterling Bank! Rating 9.8/10 2. Access Bank This website comes second but not close to Sterling Bank Website. Good enough, as a user, the first part of the website, sliders, give amazing copies which makes it easier to connect with their various products. All messages are simple, clear and connecting. Navigation is easy and simple as well. One thing most of these websites struggle with is how to showcase all their services in just one page, if this can be improved upon by access bank, they can easily compete with Sterling. Rating 7.5/10 3. Zenith Bank Nothing extra-ordinary about their home page beyond beautiful images that sits well behind their good copies. Navigation through the website can be better as it seems a lot is happening though the website at the same time. The website is also plagued with “weak” call to action buttons such as “Learn More”, “Get Started” etc. I believe the website can be better organized to reflect top notch services the bank is known for Rate 6.0 Other Banks; Expectedly, many bank website struggles to categorize their offerings and communication is generally poor. Their home pages are all confusing and does not provide that same experience you get when you walk into their banking halls. Here is list of other banks with foreign and local licenses and their ratings Guarantee Trust Bank – 5.5 Polaris Bank – 5.0 United Bank of Africa (UBA) – 5.0 Unity Bank – 4.5 Fidelity Bank – 4.0 First Bank – 3.8 Heritage Bank – 3.5 EcoBank – 3.0 Citi Bank – 2.8 Stanbic IBTC Bank – 2.5 Wema Bank – 1.5 Union Bank – 1.0 Conclusion Things are changing pretty fast, fancy website does not necessarily pass for a good website. True measure of a good website is around how well it can convert or help visitors without an extra effort from other sources. I believe it is high time banks key-in to this endless opportunity that exist on internet and give better customer experience we all want to have Have you ever visited your bank website? Two things are possible here, first is they must have used telcos network to find it. As long as there is sim card in the phone, it could still be found. Second, they told him that to keep him busy. My guesses though. |
You probably read that title and a lot of thoughts ran through your mind (Phone tracking in Nigeria?) “Finally, I can’t believe it took so long” “Is this another scam, can you track phones in this country” “How can you track when they will just flash your phone” If you had the first thought, you have probably been a victim of phone theft or know people who have. If it was the second, you have probably been a victim of a phone tracking scam or know someone who has. And if you are the last thought, you probably have heard too many stories about flashing. Mobile phone theft in Nigeria Despite the varying opinions, the fact is that phone theft is an epidemic. Millions of phones are stolen in Nigeria every year. Think about that, by the time you finish reading this post at least one person would have their device stolen. The inconvenience of losing your phone is one that can not be put into words. All contacts gone, valuable memories on your phone (pictures and videos), and even valuable documents. How effective is it to track phone with IMEI? One of the ways to track a device is through the IMEI of the phone. If you know your IMEI, you can report your phone stolen to the police, and let them do the tracking. You can also use IMEI tracking apps, which you will need to install on your phone before the theft incident happens. Your network provider can also track your phone via the IMEI. In other countries, phones are blacklisted (meaning they can’t be used to call), after they are reported stolen. Tracking your phone with your IMEI after the phone has been stolen with an app is virtually impossible. Hassles of tracking with law enforcement agencies If you decide to go to the police to report your phone there are a lot of hassles or wahala involved. After you report details of the crime and your device to the police, you still have to pay a fee. Usually this is not cheap, sometimes as high as getting another device. This doesn’t include the cost of their transportation, and refreshments they will ask for. They usually call this their mobilization fee, and you have to pay if you want them to “do their work.” Which is usually just looking busy and not producing results. They are mostly out to get as much as they can from you. And those who have been able to get their phones back, are just lucky. Are there protections smartphone users can get to track their devices? Imagine for a second that you just lost your phone, or it was stolen. Would you be able to replace it with the same model easily? If you can, then you are one of the lucky few. Most Nigerians are not able to replace their devices with the same model. They are often forced to downgrade models or purchase London used phones at cheap prices. And it has been reported that London-used phones are phones stolen in Nigeria. Increase in demand for smartphones, has also led to the increase in phone theft. Phone theft incidents occur in every scenario imaginable. You may have heard of the famous incident where top Nigerian dignitaries had their devices stolen at events. It is that rampant. Victims of phone theft are often met with a lack of empathy. They are blamed for being careless, being at the wrong place, or not being observant. Some people have been killed because they struggle with phone thieves. While this may seem absurd, imagine someone who has spent their life savings on a new device. They are so excited, they use it for everything, it becomes an integral part of their lives. Sounds familiar? That’s what our phones mean to us, we can’t do without them. Now, let’s imagine that phone is taken away. How would you feel? Pretty bad, right? At the point of the theft, you can not blame the people for reacting the way they do. Now if they had a tracking application on their device would they react differently? Probably. There are many of such solutions out there, I am sure that’s what you are thinking. I know you may be thinking of Find my phone from Samsung and Apple. But they do have their limitations, they are good for wiping out the information on your device. But if you want to attempt recover, all you see is a pin dropped in a location with no address. How do they expect you to get it back? I have no clue. You might also refer to the application installed for you when you buy your phone at a retail store. Have you ever tried to use the application after you have paid the so-called engineers who install them? Most likely not. A new way to track a phone in Nigeria A solution is out there that has been built for the Nigerian market. Most of us turn off our data often, in the name of saving it. Imagine your phone is stolen when the data is off. All you can do is hope that they turn it back on eventually. But imagine there was an app on your phone which could allow you send a simple text message to it, and you get the location of the device back. Does that sound like magic? It isn’t. The PINS App available on Pins Mobile Security Website, does just that. You are able to enjoy this benefit and so much more. You can: See the face of whoever stole your phone when they put in the wrong password Monitor the calls and messages they send You can even wipe out the data on your device by just sending an SMS as well so they can’t access your sensitive information These are just some of the benefits you get with the PINS App. You now have another way to get your phone back, and reduce the problem that is phone theft. Imagine a society where all stolen phones could be retrieved by their owners, then phone theft becomes a worthless crime to commit. It is easy and it is achievable, get the PINS App and be a part of the movement. Source Link https://pinssolutions.com.ng/2019/05/13/how-to-track-a-missing-phone-in-nigeria/
