Exacta, the same dhtml elements needed to build any proper looking site remains the same. It is now the technique
and how good the developer(s) are and how much the client is willing to pay (you may need to buy good scripts to make
work faster or get more assistance) and it is all this that matters in the final outcome.

@poster, where is the link to your site, and where is the code segment not working. Is it that, you dont know how to code,
or you downloaded a code and it is not working, or you dont know how to go about it? post whatever you have to on this
forum and we will see how to sort it out.

Facebook for instance, if i need to copy images, all i need to do is just to disable the javascript on my browser. Now some sites go through
the length of embedding them into flash. I will not explain how to thief those ones (when i just started out this web trading, stealing images
was my speciality - logos or whatever). If you go to firefox extensions, you will stuffs like firecapture. . .not to talk of softwares as in external softwares that do not even rely on printscreen. Never say never, but protecting pictures from being copied is a very tricky business. At worst,
i will just take a very good digital camera and snap the stuff.
Meanwhile, you can provide us with samples of such sites and let us see as it goes. However, what many professional sites do is that, they
will show you low quality of draw some rubbish into it, then when you pay, you download the full copy.

block out printscreen from working? even if you remove the button from my laptop, there are still many ways of going around that.
Please show me a website where they block out copying of the picture, and we will see about that. If you like, copy the picture to
flash. In this world of session hacking, curl and others, it is very very difficult

I wish to clarify a few things on the now locked thread - Unban YAWA and DHTML

She was not banned.  She resigned under the guise of having a problem with the antispam bot in order to lure people to one of her sites.  DHTML was banned because he tried to get us in trouble with google's content policy and started cloning the usernames of members like you.  disruption.  I decided to unban him because he did me a favor, but this move isn't popular with the supermods so I've been stalling.

I wish to clear a few things. I only cloned the admin (seun himself like over 20 times) and a few mods (micheline89,debosky) and myself (uncountable times) - ordinary members were not in any way affected (or did you get any complaints from members that they were being cloned?).

Yes i did bleeped up on that one (and i did apologized) 'cause that was totally unnecessary, and that prolonged my ban.

And i believe we have trashed out all that cloning stuff. But if you recollect clearly, it was after i was banned for bypassing the language censoring and spam bot censoring that i unleashed my nairaland ID cloning machine out of pure annoyance (which is now on permanent leave).

Now that story about yawa too as far as i know is not correct or maybe i heard something different (i will not go into details about that).

oho, for newbies yes. I believe it is good to learn the generic stuffs, then later after you know your left from your right, then
you can now start cutting corners.
I notice many trends with newbies: like a fresh starter going straight into:
- joomla
- dreamweaver
without knowing basic html, and then you give them a script and they cannot follow simple instructions to install it into their site

I have added a background to mwebng.net for those using large screen. I did some analysis to know if the background will be ok for those 41'' screen - but i cannot view it - i tried my best to adjust my 21'' screen, but it was impossible.

Thanks. i am still battling with some client work, i will get back to my updates later in the week. And i am open to more reviews.

The truth is that, most of the scripts we need are usually found online. With good knowlege of scripting, you can manipulate existing scripts and use
them to achieve what you need. And dont forget that to do a complete project, you need to have good understanding, and may need to use more than one script to achieve your aim. If you go to sites like phpclasses.org you will find gazzilion scripts on various subjects.

PHP scripts eh? if we paste all our scripts finish, how we go chop? Anyway, i do post some general scripts in the past sha.
But if have a serious minded project to do, get a programmer to write a customized script for you at reduced price

Thanks, I do handwork. If you have been following, i had to learn how to use joomla, there are some tasks that
are best done with joomla, and was my test on how well i can use joomla.
I liked the name better, and decided to develop it properly, so i went ahead to spice it up with a lot of
handwork. If you check that site carefully, you will notice that there are many things there that cannot
be done with just joomla. These dayz since i get alot of work, i needed to know how to use more stuffs.

So i use joomla mainly, and can now use dreamweaver cs4 very well, and use handcoding to cover whatever
those ones cannot do so that i get a good result at the end of the day.

is mediweb yours or that of a client? Because as a client's there is a limit as to how to work with the logo. Anyway you can sti ll enlarge the logo a bit and make it distinct from the background.

That appeared to be part of the loading process of that vinora's visitor's counter. I will keep it in mind sha. Just a little laziness there. I don tweak too much things on this my site joomla.

tutorial keh? i can teach you but not free. Fastest way is to download it. I think you will find something like cool dropdown menus on
dynamic drive. That menu is best developed with a framework like jQuery, MooTools, Ext or any other library.
