They will always claim they were killed first or that their cows were killed. Why not report it to police? The simple solution to this menace is: Let herding be outlawed. It is already illegal. It is trespassing which is illegal. In all modern societies, cows are reared in ranches located on properties owned by those farmers.

Whether u agree or not, it is completely archaic, dangerous & illegal for anyone (Fulani or not) to be allowed to be roaming around people's backyards armed & unchecked. It is against the trespass law recognized all over the world. Giving nomads the freedom to trespass into farm lands destroys crops & discourage farmers thereby spelling doom for the food security of the nation (ie. it will affect everyone). The right thing to do is for the cattle owners to buy land & build ranches since they are doing business. Call ur MPs & educate them on these things since they seem not to know. Have problem solving minds instead of ranting about tribe, party & religion u know so little about.

There is no such provision that allows herdsmen to graze anywhere. This is how misinformation spreads. If think such a provision exists, you should quote it.

The constitution allows for freedom of movement. This means you can move from Sokoto and live in Enugu. It doesn't allow your cows to go and destroy crops in anyone's farm. In fact, you can use the same constitution to ban herding of cows on foot. See details below:

Wait & be all killed because of that. igbos are everywhere & they attack no one while they are attacked & nothing happens. there was security info about Enugu attacks well ahead. all security bodies were informed. yet d attack pulled through & d attackers went scot free. over 40 unarmed people were killed in their home & u people never condemned it as u'r condemning the killing of 1 murderer. judgment stands near u awaiting execution.
