For those who have not been following my previous thread. There is a link for it below.

I thank everyone who encouraged, insulted me, advised me and lend their voices in the previous thread. You are all appreciated and God bless you all.

The last few days have been a total nightmare to me as I lost concentration and became uninterested in everything I normally do daily and lost confidence and half my of my weight.

I took the test because I wanted to be sure she is a changed person, have peace of mind, migrating my family abroad this year of which DNA evidence will be required of which I wont want to disgrace myself publicly. Despite the fact that none of the children bears any resemblance with me which was one of the many reasons I took the test.

After waiting for several days for the results to come in, they finally arrived. It is with gladness and joy in my heart, I announce announce the result of my paternity test. They all came back positive. All the children are mine with a 99.9% probability.

I became so happy that my family thinks I just won a lottery. I am a happy man today. As for my wife, I no longer care what she did in the past but for the fact that they are my children, I will love her forever.

I wont be able to talk further because she must not find out what I just found out she is a Nairalander. Peace-out and God bless you all.

Are you the one that will rebuild it or you just collect the contract and outsource and supervise. I think ikenna use the last approach too.

If not that the mechanic wanted to make some money off the engine ringing job, the first advise would have been to keep using the car the way it is, and just buy extra oil to top off as when needed provided the oil consumption is not excessive.

The best alternative would have been to change the engine.

There is a guy Called trygo here, search for him, he might be able to assist. Have seen his post in the past on engine build. Not many people can do it the right way.

If same price, I always buy brand new chinese tyres, but recent year tokunbo tyres are always very expensive than brand-new tyres like those made in 2020.

Also tokunbo if you no careful nah winter tyres plenty and nah summer or all weather tyres we supposed to dey use.

bought in January RX motion-X brand 215/60R16 for 18k per unit nah chinese jianyu or so. got two for the front they have done around 1k kms and no issue, also speed around 140km/h and no problem too I only use the vehicle for interstate travels than city

Interesting, so China Tyre has improved, worth considering in next replacement then, i usually buy the 8k toks per one not the 5k own

Honda Accord in particular has always had the Double wishbone front suspension which is known for better performance while Toyota Camry always had the Macpherson suspension which is known to be reliable and cheaper to build.

We see more failure in the Double wishbone suspension in general not because it has a design flaw but because of what am about to show you.

The issue is weight, which is a force that every suspension system must transmit safely to the road surface.

The medium of transmission of weight of the car to the ground is always through the strut or shock absorber. This force is shown with the first arrows on both types of suspension in the picture below.

The path for this force is different for the 2 suspensions.

The Macpherson suspension has the strut bolted to the hub which means the weight is transmitted from strut>hub>wheel>road.

The double wishbone suspension however transmits the weight from strut>lower control arm>ball joint>hub>wheel>road.

Looking at the fact that the ball joint is a critical weight bearing part in the double wishbone suspension but not in the MacPherson suspension, we understand why an inferior quality ball joint may not withstand the stress for long. Also looking at the ball joint in the 2 types of suspension, you will notice that the ball joint in a Double wíshbone suspension is quite larger to a Macpherson suspension ball joint, a design meant to accommodate more stress.

When next you see a Honda Accord with the "K-Leg", just just know that it is not a Honda design flaw, it is a Double wíshbone suspension system weak point that the particular owner is responsible for.

Honda uses the Macpherson suspension in the Civic while Toyota uses the Double wíshbone suspension in their SUVs such as Land cruiser, Prado, Hilux etc

But don't any other car brand use the same double wishbone setup, why ain't the problem rampant with them too

There's something my 07 RX350 does sometimes. On the highway, when I'm climbing a slope, no matter how much I match the throttle, it gets to a point where the car will not speed further.

Other smaller engine cars will be overtaking me at this point. My speed will usually be around 80-90km.

After the climb, the speed picks up again.

Note: It wasn't like this before. In addition, when I've run AC for a long distance drive of say 6-7 hours, the AC goes off by itself and the car temperature starts overheating.

I'll have to park and let it cool before I continue.

Please what could be the problem here and what should I do?

Oga Gazzuzz, my Toyota Camry 2004, 2.4l started jerking yesterday. It was so bad that the car stopped twice on the road.
Mechanic said i should change fuel pump, spark plugs & service the fuel injectors which i did.
Went back to carry the car not quite long ago & i observed that when i stepped on the brake, the car still jerks a little but not as bad as it was yesterday.
Check engine light & Maintenance required signs have been on the dashboard since December.
