If your aim is Uber alone ... 03 to 05 is better, since it is cheaper to maintain and buy

If you aim to use it privately, for work and occasionally for Uber {na you go dey drive m oh} then the 06 to 11 is better since it is more tushed up.

03 to 05 looks dated but what the heck as long as e make me money using it on Uber

06 to 11 looks more modern, both interior and exterior (usa version especially).

Me I prefer the 06 to 11, I own one, I hate car that I can't look at and body no go sweet me.

Hello!

If it is the high mileage, extended performance Mobil 1, DO NOT USE except your engine is leaking oil already.
By 'leaking oil', I mean engine oil minimally SEEPING out of some parts of the engine, giving it a wet appearance.

If your engine block and sump are dry and free of engine oil seepage, continue with the normal full synthetic Mobil 1.

Why?
The HIGH MILEAGE, extended performance Mobil 1 contains additives that swell up your oil seals. The aim is to improve the competence of the seals in a high mileage engine (some of which are likely to have started allowing oil seep through).
However, the unintended consequence of using the oil in an engine not yet leaking oil is compromise of the integrity of intact seals....and they will soon start seeping oil.

This one na long thing. It will cost you a lot of money to get it done properly. Around 130k thereabout to get a new auto compressor.

I have similar problem with same useless car so I drive it like that but all thanks to God I just bought another car.

I have an 08 Honda Civic and a 05 Pontiac vibe which is like a corrola,

The Civic is sleeker, has better handling, fancier interior and better safety (side airbag front and back seat, Toyota only have for front seat ), the Honda has colder AC. Acceleration is better on the Civic, fuel consumption is better on the Civic
, Toyota has a better ride height, for
Ruggedness will say Toyota is better / the Honda can be rugged if you stick to manufacturer specified fluids and maintainaces.


If I am to choose only one, I prefer the Civic for the reason above

For now, the ride drives like a horse. Sharp brakes, sweet engine.

Na only AC remain, and then to beautify the interior, which I said 200k max will clear. For now, na to dey learn driving, and no better way for me, than to learn with a car like this. I'll learn every issues through the challenges it poses.

How I wish it was the 4 cylinder variant... Or a manual gear variant of the V6.

Statistically, you can google this, the 6 cylinder variant is more prone to automatic transmission failure, reason being that the engine is too strong for the auto transmission and easily wear it out, Also the power steering of the V6 fails more often than the i4.

Best value for money would be the V6 + manual gear or i4 + auto or manual gear

I will advise you to patronize a good technician for your airbag repairs, avoid quacks at ladipo, they will come for airbag repair, they no go even hold scanner wey fit scan airbag...

They don't even know how to remove battery before working on airbag they will work on it directly risking the airbag triggering.

And when they reinstall your steering back, it will no longer be straight.


Please do your research and visit a proper mechanic with the right tools

If you must go for the accord make sure it is the i4, ensure you use the manufacturer specified fluid... This is very important

Also check the leg any time you do an oil change at specialist Honda mechanic and do necessary service as needed

You are right, even Honda Civic 8th generation with its cramped engine bay,

I am an Honda fan, however if you have the money to maintain either without stress , I will say go with the Avalon... It is more closer to a real luxurious car.
