Hello wonderful madam Radautoworks, I noticed a small oil leak/stain at the back of my engine {passenger side}of my same old same old blue Pontiac vibe with the funny airbag issue . Note leaks doesn't drip on the floor.

I want to change my timing chain tensioner or just the oring to fix the issue based on recommendation. Please do you do this.? How much.
Also why I am there, I will like to try the Lazer alingnemt / balancing you talk about so much, how much.

Lastly do you have the car's fuel tank cap? I have a small evap leak code...

I've owned fully loaded version of both cars so what do I know? I currently own the 2014 MDX with advance package as well as the 2014 RDX sh-awd max package and have had the equivalent on the benz and it's not even close.

Oh, also I fix them so like I said, what do I know? Carry on.

Just that, one thing I don learn for naija used car be say, if you see car wey the body and interior look look like the one op buy it means the owner didn't care about the car or may be didn't have enough money to maintain it, which mean the owner no go mind use 20w50 or groudnut oil as engine oil and Holt as transmission oil remember Honda gear dey sensitive etc, in a nut shell it means that they person fit don abuse the car in many ways that buyer might not be aware of until usage.

Bringing that car back to factory... Omo na money kill am... So as op pause for the car matter I understand, engine and transmission wahala may God not let them rear their ugly head too.

But first, I browsed online for fix to similar issue and I read some say to change alternator and some others saying shaft sensor. Another saying to check ECU.
Please, could it be any of these? I don't wanna change gear box and still face same issue... Gear box I hear it's almost 100k... Wedding is around the corner so that money na big money and I will be needing this ride for serious commuting.
