NaijaTalkTown: DSS is a nice job, you get to do a lot of dirty jobs but expect you and your family to get spied by CIA, MI6 and other major intelligence agency across the globe. Depending on what you did, your life could become miserable after retirement from DSS. The Army is better bro. And know you won't get stuck at Sergeant because after graduating from the university and completing your NYSC program, if you make it to the Army, you will start at the rank of 2nd Lieutenant and you will remain there for 18 months before you get promoted to the rank of a Lieutenant. Depending on how well you perform, you can be placed as a Platoon Leader. Platoon Leaders are normally within the Lieutenant and 2nd Lieutenant ranks. After two years (that is, 3 years and 6 months), you become eligible to get a promotion to the rank of Captain and this of course will depend on your performance as a Lieutenant. After 3 years you become eligible to get a promotion to the rank of Major. You make it sound so easy with the promotions. |

THE recent re-opening of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, depot at Aba, Abia State is a landmark achievement and welcome development, especially for the residents of the commercial city of Aba and its environs who have suffered for long due to its closure some years ago as result of insecurity, bunkering and pipeline vandalism.

Why are APC supporters so hateful and deceitful. They are after bayelsa now.
A similar situation happened in Enugu, the moment the government declared Enugu airport free to fly to China, USA etc, the lagos APC supporters rushed to the media and start writing thrash claiming the Enugu runway is bad. The airport I just landed yesterday that is in a perfect condition.
For the same reason the LAGOS APC political touts did every possible and boost Jonathan out for the single reason that he said he will build seaport for the igbos in onitsha. They beleive this will draw importers to onitsha against lagos.
Jonathan tried a lot in bayelsa, South south, southeast, South West, and most especially the north. A man of equity.
Thanks can you list 2 projects he did for the south south and south east? |

Keep blaming the southern senators when we know fully well say na the appropriation/allocation committee comprising Northerners na run the heist without the knowledge of the mainstream Senate body.
Let's see how you'll build Lagos and Abuja and abandon SS/SE. Una dey build refinery for Lagos, not 1 but 2. Then una go draw pipeline from Niger Delta to transport crude whilst keeping armed men everywhere so we nor go fit breath. Una still dey learn work.
All the headquarters of the oil companies dey Lagos and Abuja employing other tribes whereas we went oil flow pass our backyard we nor even dey see NNPC contract jobs run. Make we dey watch. The vibes already show say tompolo self dey learn.
