Depending on how well you perform, you can be placed as a Platoon Leader. Platoon Leaders are normally within the Lieutenant and 2nd Lieutenant ranks. After two years (that is, 3 years and 6 months), you become eligible to get a promotion to the rank of Captain and this of course will depend on your performance as a Lieutenant. After 3 years you become eligible to get a promotion to the rank of Major.
