Now the 20k being shared is the arrears of the past 3 months and this current month for the existing beneficiaries under the social welfare scheme

1. My question is if the above is correct, it means the FG is presently not doing anything to cushion the effect of the lockdown because the 20k being shared is just to the existing beneficiaries of the social welfare programme and not those adversely affected by this lockdown.

2. Why is the government saying it is giving stimulus package to people adversely affected by the lockdown when it is just continuing with the existing social welfare programme and nothing else?

3. The planned expansion of the register for the social welfare programme, on what premise will it be done? Will it be to include people affected by the lockdown or just normal addition of beneficiaries under the existing social welfare programme?
