Spy360:
Which other politician do you think is sincerely interested in making this country work?

Tinubu may be the worst but the rest are not far behind. I mean someone like Atiku who is just too desperate and will definitely become nonchalant like Buhari once he achieves his dream.
So, you believe he can deliver on his promise to stabilise the country within two years and make it work within a single term in office? Is that correct, or do you have other reasons for choosing him?

Any coalition without Peter Obi as the candidate is bound to fail.

I am not against coalition but if they don't hide their ambitions and make PO the flag bearer it's an action in futility
Why do you think the coalition would fail without Obi as the flag bearer?

Indeed when it comes to qualities like integrity, accountability, transparency, virtues you wish for in a leader, Obi aces in these qualities which is why people were drawn to him but in the core aspect of leadership itself as a quality, he is found severely wanting.

I'm on the inside and I've witnessed the chaos firsthand. The lack of leadership and communication from the top. Everyone wondering what next with no answers. It's very pitiful.
Hey, Donj my guy, it’s good to see that you still have a firm belief in Nigeria and have even gone ahead to start working from within a political party. I believe some of the conversations we had a few years ago may have influenced your decision, or maybe it was the Obidient movement that eventually paved the way for you to become an active participant in Nigeria’s politics. Either way, it’s good to see.

Following on from one of your previous positions about religion being the key problem in Nigeria, that it hinders peaceful coexistence and, by extension, contributes to our political crisis and the emergence of bad leaders, I’d like to ask: now that you’re actively involved in politics and a registered member of a political party, do you still hold that belief? Or has your perspective shifted since you started participating more directly in the political process? By the way, you can reference the link below to refresh your memory.

Na grace of God and luck dy fit make man manage situations like that.

You can be brain blank or bereft of ideas in that kind of situation immediately
I agree; however, having the knowledge or experience of what to do when such situations arise increases your chances of survival by almost 50% compared to having none at all.

The speed may not be that bad, you can overtake at 120, e no mean say tyre suppose burst like that na. I regularly do 160 km/hr, even up to 176 , does that mean if tyre puncture, it will end me and won't run flat for a while, talkless of lambo that should have the best tyre available
It’s the handling of the vehicle after the tyre blow that’s the real koko. Plenty people like to speed, but not enough people know what to do in situations like that. RIP Jota!

I think the realization of no single party can put an end to this Tinubu’ misery is the reason why many youth especially d obidients are in support of this gang…

I have the believe, things have been sorted out and the candidates known already.
The issue is less about having a one-party state and more about the character of the individuals in the current coalition. During Obasanjo’s era, we had people who were willing to suffer politically for the greater good. But today’s opposition is filled with political opportunists. So, while they can form whatever coalition they like, I can assure you it will change nothing.

How can we assess the character of whoever they plan to present when they have consistently shown no grit or integrity, constantly jumping from one party to another? It is one thing to have an opposition but it is far more important to have an opposition with vision, one that holds the incumbent accountable while genuinely fighting for the people.

This herd mentality of trying to unseat the incumbent at all costs, only to settle for the next person who has shown no character, no integrity, no leadership and no clear vision for the country is exactly what has brought us to where we are today. I dare say this is the same mistake that gave us APC, Buhari and eventually Tinubu.

To make matters worse, our current leaders have mastered the divide and conquer strategy. They have split us along religious and ethnic lines and that is why everything feels so broken. Even though there are still young people ready to fight for this country, the real problem is that the few good leaders who genuinely care about the people cannot seem to come together to organise and lead them effectively.

#EndSARS failed due to a lack of leadership and proper organisation. Even the Obidient movement has lost its purpose because of the absence of clear direction. When you deliberately choose to ignore the character of the individuals who have formed this so-called coalition or “gang” as you put it, you are essentially supporting a group of corrupt individuals who are clearly hustling for their own interests at your expense. It is like cutting off your nose to spite your face.

It is no surprise that someone like VeryDarkMan has become a household name. When the right option is not available, people will naturally gravitate toward whoever is speaking up. As they say, when the desired is not available, the available becomes the desired.

To each their own. I can’t tell you or anyone else here who to vote for or which party to support. What I do know is that I won’t be voting for Tinubu and I won’t be voting for this coalition either. Las las, make every man carry him own kettle.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by diggz: 6:49am On Jul 03, 2025
Over the past month or so, the number of people I’ve noticed who see the world in black and white only reinforces the fact that autism is real. By the time the next presidential election comes around, the new agenda will be that if you don’t support the Coalition of Saints, then you must be an Agbadorian. Omo..:…may God not punish anyone with a mind that can’t process nuance or entertain alternative perspectives in life.

By the way, I find it interesting that the coalition has settled for ADC. The similarities in the names APC and ADC could prove to be an advantage to ADC if the ruling party fails to sensitise its party members and the general electorate or actual voters. That’s if any sane person still thinks Tinubu is worth another tenure. Genuine mistakes could be made on election day, which may end up benefiting the coalition.

That said, the coming presidential election is shaping up to be a toss up between the devil and the devil, as both the ruling party and the coalition represent the rotten state of the people who have been making life changing decisions for this country since 1999. Looking back now, I honestly regret that OBJ didn’t succeed with his third term agenda.

Although there were lots of criminals in the class of 1999, I still believe that the overall quality of leadership during OBJ’s time, both from the ruling party and the opposition, was far better than the charade we are witnessing in today’s political scene.

Hmmm 💭

Obi is an unserious person sha, especially with that one-term talk. Assuming our one term is six or eight years, one would agree that it is enough time to steer the country in the right direction. If he can openly admit that he is happy to do just one term, one can only imagine what other deals he might be making that his supporters are not aware of or would not be happy about.

By the way, I would like to see him clearly articulate how he intends to stabilise the country in two years. Just maybe, he might be able to convince the neutrals to come out and vote for him if he even ends up on the ballot.
