Ibeme:Na simple question I ask — no need to burst a vein, bros. Why I go need Google when you don turn official spokesperson for those wey dey war zone? |
Ibime:What’s the source of this data? 4 0 No make any sense. By the way, now that the U.S. is about to step into the fray and the UK might follow, I hope you’ll be enlisting when the time comes — not just hyping the war while expecting other people’s children to die in a fight you wouldn’t join yourself. |
liveLongNprospa:Oh really? And how did you arrive at that brilliant conclusion? Go on, humour me — if you can manage it without burning too many brain cells on “lol” and emojis. |
Ibime:When you say “overwhelming number of Israelis,” are you referring to those overseas and active on social media, or specifically to those currently on ground/fleeing the country? |
BlueRayDick:I honestly can’t make sense of your first paragraph. My point was clear — I’m not sure why you’re choosing to ignore it. To be clear: no one wants to die in a war — not even those fighting, and certainly not innocent Israelis who never signed up for it. Anyone with the means will leave — bunker or not. Even the very people you’re praising on NL for their bravery are doing the same, fleeing to avoid sudden death in a war they didn’t choose. By the way, I only chose to address that part of your post to highlight how the reality for those in war zones is very different from what you’re trying to make us believe — that’s all. And for the record, I have no interest in your pro-Iran or pro-Israel agenda. |
BlueRayDick:Bro — a quick Google search would blow that theory out of the water. Last I checked, people are literally fleeing on private boats and yachts, dropping upwards of $25,000 just to get out. Bunker life or not, the thought of death has a funny way of reminding us who’s actually in charge. Na humans Israelis be bros, dem no get two lives. |
LordAdam16:Ah, wetin be this? This is the lowest of the low — absolute dirtiest dirt. Truly unbelievable. Omo… I can’t believe their desperation would sink this deep. Haba, where we wan chuck this one? Nah, they’ve got to be trolling — or we’re all being played. |
BlueRayDick:Politics — na your mate? Tinubu is acting like a civilian dictator. Baba’s already clearing the road for post-2027. Who knows… maybe even Wicked Wike is in the mix for VP this time, especially if all the governors have been bought over. |
Android17:I’m not sure myself, but Al Jazeera’s reporting it — and honestly, if that’s true, I’m pretty surprised and a bit speechless. |
The silliest thing I just heard from a reporter is that there are billboards in Israel now begging for U.S. intervention. Because clearly, nothing says “we’ve got this under control” like asking a foreign superpower to step in via roadside advertising. If that’s true, it’s not just embarrassing — it’s Olympic-level buffoonery. |
Akaekpuchionwa2:No civilian should have to suffer or die because of the power struggles of politicians and elites. It’s not worth it. I completely understand why people on both sides are trying to escape. You may not be close to the reality on the ground, but try to imagine: would you wait around if violence suddenly erupted around you — violence you had no part in creating or choosing? |
iamoyindamola:Incoming Madueke!!!!!! £100mil Naim we want kpere! |
raumdeuter:Dey play Egbon 4 0 Na menace to the society!!!! |
TemporaryHansel:Sorry, but I don’t think that’s the case. If it were, Tinubu wouldn’t be busy consolidating every opposition figure into the APC across the country. He knows full well that he can’t win a free and fair election — and that’s exactly why he’s already working to hijack the 2027 election before it even begins. |
BlueRayDick:Tinubu no get any shame sha. Even the yeye governor must dey on kolos. Emilokan and him crew na just vibes and insha allah. 4 0 Na nuisance sha |
Griffon:O pe oooooo E for no funny if that guy flop with the heavy price tag 4 0 No make sense |
izzou:My brother, if lives weren’t being lost as we speak, I might find the propaganda from both pro-Iran and pro-Israel sides almost laughable. But perhaps I’m not desensitised enough to find any of it funny. The truth is, this very manipulation of information is part of what sparked the war in the first place. I’ve seen pro-Israel voices repeat what may be one of the most dangerous lies — a narrative that justifies the killing of other human beings out of fear for what might happen tomorrow. Meanwhile, some, numbed by the trauma and chaos of war, have reduced the deaths of innocent people on both sides to little more than a spectator sport — something to argue over online rather than mourn. As of March 2025, U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard testified that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons. She stated unequivocally that Iran’s Supreme Leader has no intention of restarting the nuclear program, which was shut down in 2003. She also made it clear that the intelligence community continues to monitor Iran very closely. And yet, since 2003, Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly claimed that Iran is just “two weeks away” from developing a nuclear weapon — a talking point recycled over and over again, despite a lack of credible evidence. Ironically, the current U.S. President, Donald Trump, was once a fierce critic of American policy in the Middle East. Long before his first presidential run, he called it a disaster. In 2011, he accused Barack Obama of being weak and incapable of negotiating, claiming that Obama would end up starting a war with Iran. Then in 2015, Trump bluntly stated that the wars in the Middle East were a “big fat mistake” — particularly the war in Iraq, which he said destabilised the region based on false claims about weapons of mass destruction. More recently, Kemi Badenoch, head of the UK Conservative Party, publicly stated that Israel is being used as a proxy to fight a Western war — specifically on behalf of the UK, the U.S., and NATO — against Iran and its allies. She made similar comments about Ukraine, claiming it is being used as a proxy in the West’s confrontation with Russia. Just yesterday, I watched a video where a reporter asked Trump about Tulsi Gabbard’s testimony on Iran’s lack of nuclear weapons. He flatly dismissed it, saying he didn’t care what she had to say — despite the fact that she’s his own Director of National Intelligence. To top it all off, I watched Tucker Carlson interview U.S. Senator Ted Cruz this morning. Cruz, who has called for the overthrow of Iran’s government, couldn’t even answer basic questions about Iran. His justification for U.S. support of Israel — and for why war is necessary — was that “the Bible supports it.” That alone should be an eye-opener about just how disconnected from reality some of these leaders are. Now, some people here are even trying to link Iran to our domestic issues with Boko Haram and other extremist groups — despite credible reports showing that the CIA had direct involvement in those situations. At this point, only God can help us. Too many people have lost the will — or the courage — to question even the most basic misinformation. |
Enzo5:Make we manage am. He definitely looks way better than Madueke on the left, and better than any other option we have right now. He might even turn out to be a better choice than the guy from Dortmund. I no like most things wey dey come from raumdeuter league. |
Trevor012:Na mutual hatred bros. We suppose fit get star boy for £10mil in case him flop so we fit see we money collect back. Las las na make una relegate naim we dey pray for brother 😂 |
https://www.nairaland.com/8453454/tinubus-visit-benue-governor-alia#135789731 So, unless Emilokan plans to visit Benue, this incompetent governor won’t make any effort to tidy up the state? We are truly plagued by poor leadership in this country — and, regrettably, even those in religious leadership are among the worst. |
ouzo1:Sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. 🙏🏾 |
TrebleChamp:We can only hope things don’t escalate beyond where they are now. I have no desire to see more innocent people suffer because of political agendas. |
Realtord43:We need to sort out our attack ASAP, or winning the league will remain nothing more than wishful thinking. I R E T I 40 |
If we go into next season without at least three solid signings to boost our attack, we’re in trouble. Just look at the firepower City and Liverpool have. We badly need two wingers who can actually deliver, and maybe a more experienced No. 9. Otherwise, we might as well kiss the season goodbye before it even starts. 4 0 Nonsense need to stop asap ooooooo |
PrinceEma:At least 59 Palestinians were killed by Israeli tank shelling while waiting for food aid in Khan Younis, Gaza — with more than 200 injured, according to Palestinian medics and Reuters Where is your concern for the 59 unarmed Palestinian civilians killed today? I’ve seen some of your posts today suggesting that Iranians are already wailing—but let’s be honest, the most visible grief online right now is coming from Israel. There are constant reports of strikes on densely populated areas, with people saying they can’t sleep at night. Yet somehow, the narrative being pushed is that only Iranians are suffering. Israel has been consistently calling on the U.S. for support, but you make it sound like they’re effortlessly dominating the war. If this were a fair fight with no external backing, the outcome—and death toll—on both sides would likely be far worse, particularly for Israel. The truth is, those of us not directly involved are just spectators. While people online argue about who’s winning or losing, real human lives are being lost. We’ve become dangerously numb to the human cost. And finally—while pro-Israel voices are quick to condemn Iran over civilian casualties, let’s not overlook the fact that 59 unarmed Palestinians were shot dead today. Every human life matters. This isn’t a game, and it shouldn’t be treated like one. |
popizaino:Ah, so Poch’s heartbreak wasn’t enough for you? Here you are again, putting your hopes in Madueke like he’s the second coming of Ronaldo/Messi. Please remove your mind from that boy—he’s not who you think he is. Unless a miracle happens and he starts applying himself properly, just get ready for another premium disappointment. |
Why Delap go carry that number 9 jersey again? Abeg we bind any spirit of Morata and co comot for this boy body. Skimpledawg abeg we need you to go mountain quick please |
