If City had scored the important away goal, and Madrid had failed to score twice, then I would agree with you that madrid were rubbish.

But when Madrid scored that goal, the onus went to city. Suddenly they NEEDED a goal...but continued to play like they didn't even want to be in the stadium, let alone score.

Why should Madrid raise their game against an opponent who had clearly already given up?

Let face facts here homie . Madrid havent been wonderful of late the last two games or more were gritted out wins with late goals from Bale saving the day.

Let say city had really given up before the start of game then madrid would have surely killed them off. Madrid arent the type of team that would let easy outlet for goals to pass by. Ronaldo wouldn't let them do that. So it all boils than to either City didn't turn up for the game and Madrid themselves couldn't take advantage because themselves weren't in a good form or City gave the best they could do against an opposition that was just better than them even though that opposition itself wasn't itself

The match I saw,Madrid were utter rubbish from start to finish. Mancity actually made it way too easy for them, even with the rubbish Madrid dished out to go through.

If I have my way I will substitute this Madrid team for Bayern because they do not deserve to be in this finals. I hope atletico get to win the finals though because they have played the finals already against Bayern.
