PoliticsPlan In Place To Stop Tinubu From Getting 25% In The North-naja’atu by Digitron(op): 3:30pm On Feb 19, 2023
A former Director in the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, APC PCC, Naja’atu Mohammed, has vowed that, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the APC will be stopped from getting 25 percent votes from the Northern states.

Naja’atu stated this while addressing supporters at the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Rally in Adamawa state on Saturday – the event was livestreamed on Arise TV and monitored online by Vanguard.

The former director of the APC PCC said her new party, the PDP will do everything to stop Tinubu in the forthcoming elections.

She said, “Nigeria belongs to all of us, APC has said that they have a president and 23 governors. What they are trying to do is this, they need 25 percent of total votes.

“You must stop that from happening. You must stop the APC from getting 25 percent of your votes from the North. He doesn’t need us, and we don’t need him,” she added.

Recall that the APC PCC had said Naja’atu was sacked due to incompetence and for leaking vital information.

Mahmud Jega, Adviser Public Affairs, Tinubu Media Office, in a statement, described Naja’atu’s resignation as hasty and preemptive after the campaign council had discovered her leakage of sensitive information to opposition political parties.

But, in her reaction to the APC PCC claim, Naja’atu said everything about Tinubu is motivated by money.

She said, “This is the first time that I know that governors do not even sponsor the presidential campaign. Normally the governor sponsors the presidential campaign in his state, but this time around, it is Asiwaju that is doing it.

“Everything about Asiwaju is about money, there’s nothing like honour. For God’s sake what do we want? Can we continue to wallow in this, can we continue to deceive ourselves, who are we lying to? We are only lying to ourselves. We see these things. The truth has been written on the horizon. Why are we now turning the other eye?”

On her resignation from the APC PCC, Naja’atu said, “Not just that, as far as my expulsion from the APC is concerned, what took them so long? They should have told the public before I resigned, but they kicked me out unfortunately because they are so silly, they are saying after my resignation, they actually kicked me out.

“They have no respect for the psyche of Nigerians. They think we are all a bunch of idiots. We are not, we can think. I took my time because they pleaded with me. I am a Muslim. He said in the name of Allah…In the name of Allah please accept this appointment. I respect your stance. I said he should give me a blueprint, but he said he doesn’t have a blueprint,” she added.

I support Obi with my full chest, but I'm also not detached from reality. Tinubu will win every South Western state without a shadow of doubt. I can't speak to the margin, but he definitely will be first in the south west.

The only south west state I am not sure is Lagos, as that's because Lagos traditionally has been known for voter apathy. The difference between APC and PDP in both 2015 and 2019 was about 100k plus votes. Despite having the largest registered voters, less than 1.5M people voted in Lagos during the 2015 elections and less than 1M people voted during the 2019 elections.

With high voters turnout in the range of 3M voters Labour party may just win Lagos. Outside of Lagos though, Tinubu wins the rest.
Which of the states in the south west did APC win outrightly in 2019?

Omoh e go be tight race here oo, even the southern borno which is mostly Christians don lose interest in zulum cus he was trying to impose his candidates on them which they refused and opt for the opposition candidate. Omoh with the introduction of BVAS no be small yawa for here oo,last election alots of rigging was done with the help of incident form and now BVAS has come to stay. Well most of the ppl here are feed off with APC entirely especially the vice presidential candidate which is not sellable to the southern part of Borno considering what happened during his tenure (Chibok girls). It won't be business as usual and we have a Strong opposition on ground from PDP (jajiri). PO did the right thing campaigning in the southern part of borno considering there are Christians there.Atiku is also there too and he's loved by most ppl here since buhari is no more in the ballot. Their slogan here is "Da baki Gwara Baki Baki"Meaning ( they will vote for their own which is the presidential candidate ). Like i said it will be a tight race here and on 25th everything will be over.
Wow, nice to know.

Leave Emefelie alone.

Those past CBN governors you mentioned had a working government with a strong Finance Minister and vibrant economic team.

Today,

Emefelie is the CBN governor.

They have left the duty of Finance Minister to him because he person there is so daft.

Emefelie has also taken part of Agric Minister job. You hear him talking about increasing agricultural output to discourage import.

I have also seen him discussing purchasing military function, a core functions of Defense ministry.

How do you expect someone with such responsibility to perform?
PoliticsRe: Borno Mega Rally: APC Will Shock Atiku In North-East - Yakubu Ajaka by Digitron: 10:17am On Feb 19, 2023

I really do not understand the fuss about these rallies. That Elkanemi Stadium in Bornu has a 10,000 seat capacity. So at most we had 15,000 people there yesterday. The Abuja Stadium, the biggest stadium in Nigeria seats only 60,000 people.

I'll wager that the TBS which host the Experience yearly with over 500,000 people in attendance yearly is bigger than all of these (TBS seats 50,000 normal of the mainbowl isn't included). This is why even the APC wouldn't hold their campaign in Lagos in the TBS. They have for the most part chosen the Onikan stadium for most of their Lagos events (which only seats 10,000 people).

My point is, most of these rallies do not make up a significant number to show how results will swing on election day.
Brilliant analysis.

They left Ramat Square and used the small Elkanemi Sport Centre.

There is block votes from Borno again.

BVAS will expose alot of things in this election

Many are educated today because if asiwaju, he gave free forms for students to write WAEC, people from all the geopolitical zones of the country benefitted from it not lagosians alone. He rebuilt schools and modernised them, he never increased higher institution fees like obi and never owed teachers like obi did..... Till today his legacy remains all through Lagos... Where obinna's legacy?
Asiwaju contributed a lot to health services too, he created ambulance points for emergencies, doctors were duly and promptly paid. Under obi, doctors went on strike for over a year, he increased higher institution fees and said education is not for the poor. He never did anything in the educational sector, all these laptop and computer you claim he disbursed are fake news... Nobody has come out to say he/she benefitted from such under his government. Many people have testified to asiwaju government's impact in their lives
Obinna's legacy in education is nowhere to be found, nothing of his government can be pointed at today, in other words he left no legacy behind....

Tinubu is the only governor in Nigeria that stayed for 8 years and did not build one single hospital.

Lp cannot win bayelsa.you will realize too late
There is no how Obi will win Kogi. The largest Christian tribe in Kogi are the Okuns who are yourubas, so they will be voting for BAT majorly.

The ebiras are predominantly Muslims and their political structure revolves around Yahaya Bello, so they are voting APC overwhelmingly.

The Muslims igalas are likely to vote for Atiku.

This leave Obi with just a small segment of Christian Igalas and very few liberals from other zones.

It doesn't add up

As for Bayelsa, this is no longer the reality on ground. A lot has taken place since then.

Do you think POs presence at the Ijaw National Convention was a coincidence?

There are a lot of alignment going on now across the North Central, North East, South South and South West.

The only Zone where we have not been able to penetrate at all and where we remain clueless up until now is the North West
