Nazgul: I honestly do not support this. So if a child graduates from secondary school at 15 and clears his/her WAEC. What the government is telling us is that if the child's parents cannot afford a private school, the child would stay idle at home for 3 years before giving university education a shot.
That's like delaying the academic advancement of that child. Very bad if you ask me.
And for the records, I finished my secondary education at the age of 15. This will affect millions of Nigerians including those who are just starting school. They are not too young to learn skills but are too young to study in Uni?Really?16 is the norm worldwide. The JAMB Registrar needs to seek wisdom. |

Offpoint1: That's still part of jumping. If he/she started at the normal age of 3/4, they shouldn't finish at 15 And how does starting UNI at 16 affect anyone They start at 16 and some finish with a 1st Class at 20 whilst those who are 29 sometimes finish with a pass. |

JERRY1925: t
Sir this are part of reforms. Things cannot change in a day. Small laws like this can help reduce some paramount issues. You never can tell. We in a lawless country. Weytin 15 - 16 years they find for university. Receive sense. What are you doing here on NL with your grey hair? The norm is 16 worldwide. ASUU strikes already draws them backwards. They enter at 16 and still finish with 1st Class at 20. Do they have to be old to attend Uni. They older the more lawless. You prefer to see them idle minded or join bad gangs instead of being pre-occupied with their studies. |

Sirchiboy: Great news. And they should set 1 year mandatory for all secondary school leavers to learn a skill before university. You don't have to learn a skill in one FULL year. University students learn skills during their long holidays and make money from it. How can you set millions of students 2 years backwards?Totally unecessary and wicked. |

Kobicove: This is good, maybe now those parents trying to rush their kids through school will slow down How about ASUU who rushes to SLOW them.down with their incessant strikes? 16 is the norm worldwide and this will affect millions of children and set them backwards. Totally inconsiderate and dumb move. |

Dialpad: So what happens to the 15 year old that completes secondary school . 16years is the norm worldwide. Are these people okay upstairs? But they have nothing to say about ASUU strikes. This will affect millions including those who are currently in KG. Why stop millions of kids and take them back by 2 years. Some will turn miscreants while waiting and lounging about instead being pre-occupied by academics. |

commyhot: So what happens to the 15 year old that completes secondary school .
That's where skill acquisition comes in. Dumbasses everywhere. What skill acquisition? So you need to stop children's education because of skill acquisition? Did they put into consideration ASUU strike and how this will affect millions of Nigerian children including those currently in KG? |

Odotech: Yorubas and Igbos already discriminate against each other so why do we find discrimination strange? Is it because it's coming from the Chinese? This level of discrimination is appalling. Imagine in our own country? Imagine if they stopped them from shopping in Nigerian stores, from renting houses, from buying fuel, etc? This is nonsense. |

Wainey: Of u were born in the 90's u will know how people despise mini skirt, there is nothing like bumshort. Some men will not go after a woman if she wears trousers as it is indecent, the people who wears trousers are the rock babes and u find most of them in parties and clubs, but today we marry ladies that wears bumshort. Calm down, in the next ten years, this nose ring will not be an issue again Nose ring will NEVER be seen as the norm. It won't. Do a survey if you can. You may start by reading the comments on this thread as a Case Study. Negative comments on nose piercing outweigh positive ones |

Wainey: Wow, that baby is so beautiful. I was born in a generation where if u put on short skirt u are a prostitute, women dont wear trousers and bumshot is not even something to wear, today people don't even wear bumshot again, they wear semi pant and cover it with cloth and walk around street.
So those of you insulting the mother, relax cos that nose ring will soon be a trend and ur wife may probably wear it. Few years ago, only ashawo put on nose rings, ankle chains and a dress that shows nipple, but now almost everyone going braless, people even enter churches with bumshot.
Now even guys are putting on earrings, fashion is dynamic. Btw, the money has no right to Pierce the baby's nose Putting on nose ring will never make you look decent. Some men will not go anywhere near a woman with nose piercing. |

The root cause is greed and lack of control. Primitive idea indeed. I bet you are one of the greedy traders who.think.you can operate your business anyhow by exploiting the forex instability. Now, they are struggling to satisfy 20hrs light for band A, but were quick to increase their tariffs.. So from now till they balance the aforementioned required minimum hours of light, the band a customer will be paying for high tarris abi
Very very poor management... The whole idea was to make an excuse to increase the tariff. There was no.intention to stick to the bargain. It's all a scam and I hope Nigerians understand their rights and demand that tariff should be reverted to the old price. |
