SportsRe: All The News About The Olympic Eagles (U-23) HERE! by dijon: 11:02pm On Apr 28, 2016
Musa is good with the ball and movement if played as a central striker not the wing he has regularly been deployed too by our archaic past national team coaches......i no mention names ooooo[ who have failed to evolve themselves as our players have been evolved tactically and technically by the european coaches. NO Black Nigerian coach is good for the super eagles job.quote author=binhozie post=45134733]But this Musa for Olympics is not right at all, is Victor moses not a better option?
SportsRe: All The News About The Olympic Eagles (U-23) HERE! by dijon: 11:08pm On Apr 27, 2016
Good list by Salisu, devoid of nepotism, favoritism and sentiment. unlike the selection of the man before him...no name mentioned ooooo.
PoliticsRe: Fayose Returns From China, Says He's Committed To Ekiti Development by dijon: 7:45pm On Apr 24, 2016
I still cant fathom what Fayose was doing in Gouag train terminal waiting park. cant believe Ekiti parapo voted for Fayose. He is a disgrace to the Yoruba Kingdom.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Showed No Political Will In Fight Against Boko Haram – US Envoy by dijon: 7:39pm On Apr 24, 2016
am not surprised with the revelation...i have always known Jonathan regime to be a corrupt and irresponsible government.
SportsRe: All The News About The Olympic Eagles (U-23) HERE! by dijon: 8:57pm On Apr 23, 2016
my friend, Icon has said it all....Siasia want to create a slot for segun oduduwa ( a non league player)....i am very sad about Nigeria football....indigenous coaches will kill our football, infact they have killed it with their mediocrity, nepotism and favoritism way of life ( chop i chop)...
EagleScribes:
That shouldn't be done. I am saying that we can't depend on them. Can we? You may take one along, and in this case, I will prefer Balogun. But I insist that the same fitness issue is one of the reasons the Super Eagle defence is in shambles

SportsRe: The True Problem With The National Team by dijon: 9:44pm On Mar 30, 2016
Am highly impress with this discus, but I think the local coaches have lost the plot...They are good I must confess because I saw new super eagle in the last two matches handled by Sia1 and his colleagues, but can local coaches relieve themselves from nepotism and favouritism?

Sia1 and his colleagues team selection was a disaster... can't believe a coach would sit down for a whole 45 mins and be blind to what non coaches sees in his team ( no creativity in the final third half of the Egyptians) no shot at goal for a team looking for a win and not do the needful.

The bottom line is Amaju and his executive members should resign and Nigeria employ a very intelligent and experience foreign coach who will be devoid of sentiment in team selection, tactically sound and above parochial sentiment that is part of the norm of our local coaches.
SportsRe: Super Eagles Of Nigeria Thread: 2017 AFCON Qualifiers. by dijon: 9:05pm On Mar 29, 2016
Siasia is the best local coach we have but the Super Eagle team is too big for all our local coaches i must confess, all our local coaches have all always fail in 1. player selections. 2. team tactics. 3. making impactful substitution and at the right time...most of them make impulsive substitution.
For Nigeria to recreate the golden years of the 90's we must as a matter of urgency, quickly search for very experience, intelligent foreign coach. we got enormous talent coming up to boss africa and world football for 8 years which no local coach will honestly harness well rather they will sell our goodwill over a pot of porridge.
adeyemi2015:
Can NFF afford a foreign Coach at the moment? NO!!!
The last time I checked, Lagerback, Vogtz ain't Nigerians! This is not about hiring a foreign Coach, rather believing in the local ones!
Siasia has done nothing wrong except we wanted to put the blame on him!
We gonna see the best of him in Brazil! He knows the Lads very well, and he's definitely gonna deliver with the Boys!
I stand with Icon4s, Siasia should fully take over of the Super Eagles after the Olympic.
He's the one to lead the Super Eagles to where we honorably belong in the World of Footie!
SportsRe: Super Eagles Of Nigeria Thread: 2017 AFCON Qualifiers. by dijon: 8:42pm On Mar 29, 2016
Am not a fan of foreign coach, but i think we need a very sound and intelligent foreign coach with the way our football is going.....so so so full of mediocrity or should i say sentiment or should i say naivety on the part of our local coaches. Garba comes to my memory with the way he destroyed the aspirations of our creative, flair, intelligent players over a pot of porridge, Siasia with all the love and admirations i have for him (in my own opinion still the best local coach for nigeria) just followed the same line of Amodu, Keshi, Manu Garba, and recently the inexperienced Oliseh ( igboun, and his likes...). Nigeria need a very experience, tested foreign coach that will not beclouded with ethnic, religious, and parochial entiment in selecting the best players at all time for my great and beloved country...****tears dropping....
My final submission, Amaju and his excutive members should throw in the towel for the good of my country....
SportsRe: Super Eagles Of Nigeria Thread: 2017 AFCON Qualifiers. by dijon: 6:57pm On Mar 29, 2016
i have not seen anytin industrious about Etebo play today, i believe onazi coming in for him too will be good for naija.
SportsRe: Super Eagles Of Nigeria Thread: 2017 AFCON Qualifiers. by dijon: 6:55pm On Mar 29, 2016
we can only win this match if our coaches use their sense and not beclouded with sentiment in the second half of the match. Super Eagles need a pass master in this match, we need someone who can make a good pass within the one-third half of the egyptians. iwobi should come in for musa and the coach move umar aminu to the right side cos of his industrious play.

SportsRe: Super Eagles Of Nigeria Thread: 2017 AFCON Qualifiers. by dijon: 5:46pm On Mar 03, 2016
pls mention the results oooooo......is it about the disaster in sudan or the calamity in nigeria when we played congo and south africa.... guy, Keshi lost it when he decided to play politics with our football.
TheGoodJoe:

I pointed out that first of all, he lost his tactician. Coach Sylvanus Okpala. Second, the NFF said he should not use home based players again which ruled out some of his AFCON players.

That took him to square one and he had to almost start over.

Apart from the armories, he matched the team forward and achieved results. Those who fired their ammunitions, hardly pointed out his brilliant work. Team building takes time and he was getting there.

People kept on hammering selections but hardly looked at the overall results which is harder. I hardly saw ammunitions against Oliseh's selections but look at his AFCON results.
SportsRe: Super Eagles Of Nigeria Thread: 2017 AFCON Qualifiers. by dijon: 5:38pm On Mar 03, 2016
Am not excited about this list....imagine a top class player that plays regularly and full 90 mins in our of the best league in the world, analougue mangers and administrators of our football does not deem it fit to invite him for a crucial match. i pity this country....the way forward is to employ an european as our national team manager, technical director and nff president.....

SUPER EAGLES LIST FOR THE AFCON DOUBLE HEADER AGAINST THE PHAROAHS OF EGYPT
.........................................................................................

Source: NFF official Twitter handle.

Note: The Home-based players are 22 in number and will kickstart preparations in Nigeria on sunday, march 6 (Isn't 22 too much?). The best of which will be selected and added to the foreign pros who will join in later. I think this is the Siasia's interim crew's strategy. ONLY SIASIA AND YUSUF WERE AVAILABLE FOR THE MEETING WITH THE TECHNICAL COMMITTEE, according to reports. Amuneke is still in Spain.

Keshi was a disaster in waiting since he won the Afcon, all other matches thereafter took Nigeria football back to the stone age period....
forgiveness:
So, you mean Keshi coached for free and he did not receive a dim through his tenure?
