Based on Afcon standard, I don't think we have a weak defense. The problem is that the coach looks dumb. I hear he plans pairing Omeruo with Bassey, I think Omeruo should be coming in towards the end of matches to secure wins. Awaziem is the best pair for Bassey honestly

For the last AFCON, we were begging Emmanuel Dennis to come and play and between him.and Watford, he declined our invite. Watford got relegated and unfortunately Dennis'career has been on a downward spiral. I remember one Senegalese striker that time, Sakho from Westham then. He too declined to attend AFCOn for his team and his career nose-dived. Anybody wey like make im lie, no problems at all . Matip wey use Cameroon Shakara just dey get injury like menstrual cycle

Kelechi Ihenacho is a major doubt for the afcon tournament come January. He pick a muscler injury during Leicester city training before them game yesterday. The striker injury is still be assessed may likely miss afcon if the injury is serious. Jose Pasiero should start thinking of likely replacement now likely replacement for senior man kelz ahead of Afcon

I perfer Aribo in Onyedika role cos he is more technical, hardly gives the ball away and has great passing vision (extremely underated).
However, Onyedika marks better, runs a lot and can also shoot! We should just stop playing Iwobi in that role!

My lineup would be
Uzoho, Ajayi, Omeruo, Bassey, Aina, Bright, Ndidi, Onyedika, Iwobi, Victor, Osimhen.

Not really sure about that back 3. All of them are average.

Actually, I went along with the midfield combo he chose. Preferably, I'll also go for Onyedika, Ndidi and Iwobi midfield. That would be a blend of technicality and physicality.

Aribo is not similar to Mikel please and you can't play him as a CM. He likes attacking the box with his late runs. In a midfield of Ndidi-Aribo-Iwobi, Aribo will be the most advanced of the trio with Iwobi rather sitting deep.

I am talking with respect to the players we have in the team already. I think Onyedika and Iwobi are the best who can play a deep midfield role. However, I believe Kelechi Nwakali is superior in that role and a must for call-up. I agree with you that we need a proper controlling midfielder.
