The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies. Just pray that her loyalty to you is never tested.

And if you plan relocating without your wife, I suggest you watch this conversation till the very end

Today, all hope seems lost. The economy appears bleak, food inflation is up, salaries are almost useless and there's generally a dearth of hope.

In the middle of all these, you need to keep a calm disposition, and begin to plan how your actions can pull Nigeria out of the shadows. Today, the country doesn't project dreams or a vision that young people can believe in.

We need visions of the future that will inspire and catalyze a global movement. The solutions to Nigeria's ills lie in the dreams and visions that you can bring to life. Here's a vision for Nigeria that we can all believe in.

FamilyRe: Fuel Subsidy Removal: Men With Rich Wives Complain About Control by Dimaya: 10:10pm On Oct 18, 2023
bukatyne:
A man is expected to provide; a woman is expected to keep her youth, beauty and take care of the home. Children are expected to make their parents proud and care for them in future.

Each party has something expected of them.

All these half truths peddled to sell a delusional ideology.

@OP:

The major stress comes from the fact that he wants to eat his cake and have it.

When he is the major provider, he thinks it gives him the right to be in control of the house/wife and exempt from domestic chores and housekeeping which the woman peacefully accepts.

When she becomes the major provider, he frowns if his wife treats him same way and starts to postulate theories. He still wants to enjoy the privilege of the major provider while not bringing in the money. So he wants a beast of burden who is fine with bringing in most of the money, allow him control and exempt him from domestics.

Marriages whose dynamics are not based on money but mutual respect, love, equity and understanding need not experience this change Irrespective of who brings in more money.
You have a point

Just get a woman with her own regular source of income not necessarily rich. A woman that won't depend on you or expect you to pay her allowance to lazy around.

A woman that wants to work to earn a living not somebody that wants to be taken care of like a child

As far back in 2016 Lamido Sanusi made this revelation on currency arbitrage but Nigerians hate to read. He decried the state of forex dual window operation highlighting the economic havoc that accompanied it.
He stated it that some bigwigs make a fortune daily that even the likes of Aliko Dangote will be jealous just by exploiting the forex dual market window.

Unfortunately the leaders of tomorrow were busy glued to their 40inch television watching BB9ja and sharing the reel all over social media.

I started converting my salary when I was in Nigeria to USD upon understanding these concepts and it really helped me to preserve its value and also make gains. I had to split my portfolio between USD and cryptocurrency then kept just enough naira to sustain my basic expenses for the month until another inflow.

Nigeria is on economic comatose.[/quote]True

Really, Should I say you Cap too much. Why generalizing it? How about women giving birth at age 33 to 38 or Early 40. I don't seems to agree on your write
Just go back and read the original post. And state your rebuttal with objective evidence. I offered my sources, you can provide yours.

You're the one generalizing based off anecdotes.

So in order words you're saying that ladies over 25 should not be hopeful of marriage?
Just saw this.

I'm saying younger women who want kids should prioritize having them earlier. Waiting until late 30s is a recipe for disaster.
