Yes I did a walk-in at their VI location yesterday. Just make sure you have a print out of your checklist, passport data page, appointment email and they also asked for the proof you have submitted your documents online (So print out that page with the list of documents submitted). They only accepted self-service walk-in. Though I had to wait from 7am till about 2pm after they had finished with everyone who had an appointment (I suggest you go early). I don't know if it is an everyday thing or based on how the crowd is for the day.

Yes. I was watching YouTube videos with my phone. One usher cam and requested the phone. My reply was "If I give you this phone, make I knw why".
