Salut!

I started my classes with a French learning center last week. It's scheduled for 6 days per week.

And it's been fun so far!

I'm planning on writing TEF the last week of June, so I'm trying to improve as fast as possible. Here are some things that I find helpful;

1. Reading.

2. Listening to French podcasts on Spotify.

3. Watching Netflix movies with French audio and English subtitle or vice-versa.

4. Listening to the test practice recordings

5. Learning with the Duolingo app.

6. Switching my phone's language to French.

I hope I'll be prepared by then and everything turns out well.

I was wondering if anybody would be interested in exchanging contacts?

We could keep in touch and speak the language with each other to help us improve faster. Or maybe a Whatsapp group or something.

Thoughts?

Interested. Can you drop your contact?

I'm also a total beginner too. But am practicing seriously at home with duolingo, memrise and rocket french. But I loveeeee rocket french most, and with the rate I'm learning, by the end of this lockdown I should be prepared to take the A1 exams.
I'm looking at 6 months preparation, will attend the physical class when the lockdown is over. Wish you all the best.

P.S: for other good french apps, check out speaky app (to boast your speaking ability) and French coffee break (to boast your listening ability)

Hello, have you been able to write TEF? Or what level have you gotten to

Please I just created another profile because my existing profile will soon expire but my score reduced by 50. I had to go to CRS portal and entered same details, my 50points was intact there. However, I had to compare the scores on my profile and CRS to know why the difference, only for me to see certificate of qualification as the criteria carrying the 50 points and my field does not need certificate of qualification.

Please is this new or am I making a mistake somewhere?

mama... induction is not bad,I was induced for my last baby and everything was smooth and baby came in a few hours..you can try some natural remedies like getting busy in the other room, walking and simple exercise.. meanwhile like your doctor have said do not exceed 41 weeks..cos the placenta begins to shrink at some point..in all monitor the baby's movement and report to the hospital if you notice any thing...safe delivery to you..

Thanks much

worry less. More so, if there are no pains. You and hubby may want to be having serious time in the other room. This also may be helpful. Be hopeful mama

No two bodies are the same. If you compare yourself to others you might end up being disappointed or depressed.

You might end up falling into labour before 41 weeks, if not, please follow the doctors' advice. Be prayerful. No birthing method is easy, whether natural labour, induction or cs. It takes the grace of God and how much we follow the doctor's advice. The main thing is seeing and carrying our healthy beautiful little pumpkins.

P.s: Please, don't just sit at home. Do some less stressful chores, take some walks and eat healthy.

Congratulations in advance, ma'am.

Thanks much.Baby landed today

Madam, please worry less and see your baby coming through in few days.

I hope you have your bags packed and set the home in preparation of your new born? Engage in mild exercises too. All in all, Pray, Pray and Pray. God is at work.

I just found this thread and I must say I'm happy I did.

I clocked 40weeks yesterday. Me I'm already getting tired, I thought baby would have arrived before now. According to my mum, all her children came two weeks before time. I was almost induced at the hospital yesterday- (my choice) but my mum asked me not to, that the baby will come at the right time. In. her words- God that put it there, will bring it out at the right time. The hospital said once it's 41weeks with no signs of labour, I will be admitted and induced. I have been online trying to read about induction embarassed embarassed. This is my first and I honestly wish the labour starts naturally ASAP.. Leave days already counting.

First scan EDD Dec 29th
Subsequent EDDs and according to last MP-Jan 11th

Good day seniors and Canadian residents. Please I would like to find out from your experiences. Now that the scores are high, how easy is it for a spouse(wife) to be in Canada with unaccompanying spouse and a child of less than a year, she has plans of working/schooling. Is it possible for the husband to come with the wife after she gets PR with just ordinary visa and live with them? And if this is possible, can he start working immediately or he has to get work permit (how long will this take?). he summary of my question is how will it be easy to cope. We don't have money for nanny. Thanks as you give detailed response

Hi guys. I'm about to invest in TRJ company Limited. Please anyone here invested with them? Reviews or referrals are very important to me. A friend said he has been getting 190k monthly for investing 5M but I'm still doubting. I've gone to their office but searching online, I haven't really seen reviews from people.

All things are possible, if you believe.....you will have to put in your own hours of personal study though....6 hours a week alone will not be sufficient (in my opinion). I would advise that you appraise yourself after each week to see how much you have learned and adjust the following week's hours accordingly.

I am assuming you are not a beginner, though.

All the best!

Thanks for the response. I'm a big time beginner o. Just the regular small french we learnt im secondary school that i still know

Thanks for answering

I can't hold it any longer embarassed embarassed

I wrote the BCS exam and didn't pass one of the modules. I was hoping to be in the pool with increased point in January but now I'm confused. . Rewriting that module is next in March and result to be out in July before WES evaluation. I'm pained. I'm not good with maths at all or calculations thats why i haven't considered CIMA... I'm seriously looking for alternatives even though i will still write the failed module..i just want to keep progressing with this process while at it. I'll be 31 in a month's time. Spouse has only Bsc...

Please any suggestion? Heeeeelp!!
