BlcoNigeria2018: Which ranking? Are you a military personnel? Do you have inside information on goings on in the Nigerian army, or you are talking based on hearsay? what do you know about military training? and how is the war against boko haram going? If Boko Haram get to Ghana, Ghana as a whole will cease to exist. I am not a military personnel but I have lived in both countries and I know for a fact that the Nigerian Army is way better. I said check ranking in Africa...you refused. Okay give me one valid evidence that the Ghanaian Army is better. On what grounds na?? Budget or Arsenal or man power or technology?? Just tell me how Sir. I would like to know. |

BlcoNigeria2018: Look at this one. You said you lived in Ghana for some years, huh? Is the nigerian army better than the Ghana army? By the way, Ghana is not an “ordinary” country, huh? If you call Ghana “ordinary” what will you call Nigeria? In as much as I applaud Ghana for their level of organisation and steady electricity, which is completely hinged on pre-paid meters....you can't compare NIGERIA with Ghana. I'm assuming u are Ghanaian and my using "ordinary" struck a nerve....for that I am very sorry. We are all one... |

Now I know the Nigerian army always misbehave but without a doubt they are better than Ghana army. Is it the training?? The number?? The technology possessed?? The gadgets/arsenal?? The list goes on. The Nigerian army is way better than the Ghanaian Army. Go and check the ranking...I doubt if Ghana will make top 20. |

It is general knowledge the level of involvement of the NA and who they worked for...but APC people will say NEVER. They denied since that they were never involved but all of a sudden they have two men in the hospital receiving treatment. What the Army has been doing since is, "your word against my word", instead of them to correct their wrongs. Mention one country where this happens...where the Army can stoop so low to do all this. See Army na, looking for sympathizers after they have disgraced themselves. Realtord43: Even though it hard to say, ffk should not deny d fact that a typical yoruba man wil betray u in his best interest not minding how it wil affect u. i hv persona xperience with some yoruba guys, the dnt care abt u, all the care abt is solely for theirself. even in my university, yoruba students snitch on their own coursemate, nd it so annoying. it a knw fact, the are friendly nd nice to roll with but neva trust them for any thing. Yorubas are the last people I can trust in this life. When I did my IT, the company sent myself and yoruba guy(also IT) to one of their facilities. Due to the urgency they could not provide two apartments, so we shared one. While there we were to be assessed....I told this guy we should work together and help each other, no way o...That's how he will sneak out to meetings without informing me, he will get information and not share with me, he will lie he is just strolling but he is in one office learning something. I got so irritated, I almost beat him up one day...I understand the need to give ur best but to want to be ahead by deceiving others was just terrible. Again when I graduated I went to work for one Yoruba contractor offshore....we were to be paid 5k daily...after d first month we asked for our pay, he said chill...second month, chill...inside the third month we started complaining and that's how the Chef on the vessel told us that we were the 3rd batch of people he brought for this work. That all the others left cos he refused to pay and they decided to cause problem, before he paid. He did that with first, did that with second and now we are the third...but this third batch Akwa Ibom people full inside. So when myself and some other guy said we should all stop working till he pays, the Akwa Ibom people went behind and continued working. You know how they like work. So we could not present a united front. But at the end, he told all of us to come meet him in Warri, so he can pay us and we could go for two weeks break....That's how we got to Warri and this man was no where to be found. Till today we are looking for him. We heard he used the money to build a new house. See Yoruba people...I will never lose guard for them again. |

231. (1) The appointment of a person to the office of Chief Justice of Nigeria shall be made by the President on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council subject to confirmation of such appointment by the Senate.
(2) The appointment of a person to the office of a Justice of the Supreme Court shall be made by the President on the National Judicial Council subject to confirmation of such appointment by the senate.
(3) A person shall not be qualified to hold the office of Chief Justice of Nigeria or a Justice of the Supreme Court, unless he is qualified to practice as a legal practitioner in Nigeria and has been so qualified for a period of not less than fifteen years.
(4) If the office of Chief Justice of Nigeria is vacant or if the person holding the office is for any reason unable to perform the functions of the office, then until a person has been appointed to and has assumed the functions of that office, or until the person holding has resumed those functions, the President shall appoint the most senior Justice of the Supreme Court to perform those functions.
(5) Except on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council, an appointment pursuant to the provisions of subsection (4) of this section shall cease to have effect after the expiration of three months from the date of such appointment, and the President shall not re-appointment a person whose appointment has lapsed. Interesting... |

MetaPhysical: This thread is good for trivia.
If you spell CJN backward it yields NJC.
We love confrontation and conflicts. This is why there is chaos everywhere you look. We do a poor job of politics and politicking. The Acting CJN is correct that the President does not need the Judicial Council to approve an Executive action but he could have done better than just blurting that out. Really?? So the Executive arm can just suspend the Head of the Judical Arm and then Pick anyone to be the Head of the Judicial arm without consulting anyone? So what u mean is the Judicial arm literally has no power, it is at the mercy of the Executive. Support ur claim with any fact or law.....cos its hard to believe, that the President can just appoint an Acting-CJN without running it tru anyone. |

But they annoying thing is those Nigerians in the UK thinking they can be in the UK and decide what happens over here. If they want to protest the should come to Nigeria or STFU and face brexit.
