Djourou's aerial ability wont always be the most important thing. Kos is a far better man to man marker, he concentrates well and hasnt earned all the cards he's got. personally i like his pairing with squills and i think its our best until verm returns. If clichy wasnt so easily beat,our defense would be lookin so bad. Djourou is lookin good enough to be a squad player,thats as far as I giv him

Almost all Arsenal blogs i read have said arsene should've started djourou ahead of kos. I disagree with that. Its a fact that djourou is lookin better than before,but he doesnt exactly look confident. He did well against everton cos the tofees were only doing aerial balls. Kos is settling steadily but has great mental stability and reads games better than djourou will ever. Our last four did well,in my opinion.
It was the defensive midfield that abdicated responsibility. as earlier mentioned denilson's painful inability to track a runner with the ball is appallin. he gives up like baby and is either not willing or unable to go an extra mile. Thats one thing wilshere will use to relieve denilson completely. Denilson doesnt add anything to arsenal as he is too frail in mind and body. He simply shouldnt be in Arsenal. The brazilian league should come for him cos i dont think any english side is impressed by him

How many other teams in spain have won the ECL trophy in the time u metioned apart from the obvious two? And the europa league is so precious and important to the other spanish teams cos thats all that within their reach. You talk about spanish teams been in the semis of the champions league consistently. I believe english teams have achieved more in that regard. Plus remember that not too long ago,the ECL final was between two EPL team, and there were 3 epl teams in the last four that term
