somehow u guys succeeded in reawakenin a topic that seemed to have been buried. I think the issue of missin better players to injuries shouldnt come to the fore. Injury is a part of the game and if we could give an good account of ourselvs as we did on sunday,then it means we anticipated and catered sufficiently for the inevitable injuries. If we had drawn or beaten them,would we subscribe to any ideas that it was cos there was no lampard? I was so proud of the guys on sunday,it was so different from what we have seen in the chelsea/ arsenal fixtures before. The team is doing very well in that we maintain standard good enough to be contenders. City n l'pool have excellent players and arsenal stil sh1t on them. For a long time,the team hasnt won any laurels,but we have been consisitent in been a top team in europe for well over a decade. It has taken chelsea excessive spending to be ranked were we are. Where would all these chelsea fans be if Abrahamovic didnt buy the club? Roman Abrahamovic is the one who knows how much financial sacrifice has gone down to bring chelsea to a position arsenal has conveniently sat without ridiculous spending. And even he is cuttin down on spending. Man-U cant live up to crazy spendin in the market and are buying bebe's and chicarito's cos they just CANT AFFORD to compete with chelsea in spending and we can see the decline in Man-U's game. There is no decline in Arsenal's. They (Man-U) are only as likely to win the league as Arsenal.
Chelsea are what they are today cos of the massive money injection,so they deserve to be what they are.

wenger seems not to hold enough respect for opposition. if that's wrong,he wouldnt be puttin a 'Al' as first choice. He simply doesnt appreciate why the goalkeeper HAS to be reliable. It beats my imagination that someone as professional in what he does,just happens to demonstrate utter neglect wrt the goallie.
He thinks you dont need a SUPERB goalie to win titles,but the truth is you do need one. We dont have any rite now.
For those who give Al some credit (i used to),go and see that 2nd goal again and see why he should actually be sanctioned. That didnt look like a forgiveable error,he showed that he will never be top-notch. Honestly,Al is a bad goalie who gives a good outtin as rarely as any upcoming goalie could. Unfortunately for him,this is the point in his career that he should be at his best. I hope we do well at Belgrade today. Cant wait to put the last game behind

Honestly,I think we just are unfortunte to have some players who dont have a 'winner's mentality'. I am talking of the knowledge that u are playin against professionals too and it take the extra determination and doggedness to emerge winners. I think diaby was particularly bad. Song was a bit off,but nothing near diaby. His inability knockd off the effect of any shield for the defence. Wilshere might have just cemented a first team shirt ahead of diaby/denilson. Both CBs did their jobs but were exposed. Almunia failed keep the team in the game.

that said, what i am waitin for now is to hear that our players are comin off injury. Vermalen's injury shuld be off,gibbs,fab n even rvp should be near recovered by now

AW was NEVER desperate to sign schwarzer. Duduspace has given adequate reason to back that up. And in fact,i think the only reason wenger was still thinkin schwarzer as at transfer deadline day was just to prevent the fans thinkin he was utterly irresponsive. Not that we dont need a good goalie,but I think whateva we can win with schwarzer,we can win with Al. Al is a good goalie whose confidence has left.

We must admit that the EPL is extremely tough and referee favouritism (manure in perspective) has handed some team unfair advantage.

AW does his job the way he thinks is best and if there isnt at least one thing we love about his style,we wouldnt say we are fans. When you take into account the monies spent by l'pool,man city,tottenham without any of these teams comin close to arsenal you would appreciate what wenger does. He does WHAT HE THINKS will win trophys,he doesnt start out to finish behind manure or chelski.
