The thing is there higher chances that dude might know more than bill gates. what bill gate his given are data's. and as far as sub Saharan Africa is concerned data's are still the most difficult things to get .

Is it Nigeria that lack proper database of citizen? lack is even an understatement we have nothing!

you wonder why foundations are not as effective as saner climes? because the data's used for these project are fraudulent. Most of the foundations in Nigeria just reel out figures to siphon money from international organization like the bill&Melinda own.

here is dangote asking kano to provide account how polio funds was spent.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/01/polio-fund-dangote-asks-gov-ganduje-give-account/

if dangote can be deceived how much faraway gates.

There is no data bank or authentication or synchronization among all platforms in Nigeria so there are chances the data's gates have are assumptions or approximations.

so the guy is right. we can't be totally sure one in every three Nigerians are malnourished if we dealing with fact but if we are using generally clichés around yes one out of three Nigerians are malnourished.

CelebritiesRe: M.I Abaga List His Top 5 African Rappers, Olamide, Vector Didn’t Make The List by Dirkcoyt: 8:11am On Mar 21, 2018
The truth is, all the SA rappers are american wannabe!
They wantvto be like the Americans. even cassper confessed to this on sway in a freestyle. A very poooooor freestyle. and AkAhuh pls! That is a drake wannabe. he wants to sing like him gets accolades like him.

Only Nasty C and kwesta moves me In SA.

And for M.I , who made him the judge and juryhuh
I can only have one M.I track (money) the rest are just pain to the ears, the albatross of his music is always trying to rhyme every last word!!!

come on, rap is art and more. story telling, metaphor, punchline, wordplay, rhyme, delivery, tongue twisters etc.

Now M.I should stop blaming the Nigerian rappers, rap died around 2011 but buried 2012. the fans have moved to afrobeat, everybody want to dance the stress away, too drained mentally to decrypt allegories in beautiful crafted lyrics.

So what do you expect from these rappers? continue rapping? hope you know about hunger will turn rappers to singers. if piracy wasn't a thing, atleast the rappers will keep making money from album sales from core rap fans and these rappers won't be swayed to change genre.

Rappers in Nigeria are endangered species. SA rappers can't clean the feet of a typical Naija rapper if not for hunger.

example of what I'm talking about, Ace producers will rather produce for a davido before Jesse jagz e.g Donjazzy.

Show promoters will headline a davido instead of vector , example is davido and wizkid headlining a Jcole show when he visit Naija soon.

In SA a rapper can fill up a done because they have a rap culture. but in Naija only an afropop singer can fill up such because that's what the fans listen to in their respective countries.

So these rappers are helpless, so it is disgusting to think M.I can feed his ego at the disadvantage of other rappers efforts. blame the industry, blame the fans, blame piracy, blame the promoters. blame me and you that only talking about rap on Nairaland Alone but not supporting it.

ObaOloye:
Sorry to say this but i have to. Your grammar, comprehension and pride as a 'graduate' are not a par. Check your dictionary for the meaning of apprentiship and pratice reading and comprehension more.. The Op is simply telling the gospel truth. No company would hire u cos u are a 'graduate' but on your inherent abilities as a person and on your capacity to learn and be productive. We should see being a graduate as class admit card that allows you to enter the market which is based on continous capacity development.
The both of you are not as smart as I thought! You're so complacent about the status quo that you think is a normal thing for a graduate to turn road side apprentice.

you hear stories of a graduate turn bricklayer, graduate turn akara seller?! is that really what going to university mean? university is meant to solve problem ! to create professional and researcher! if they wanted to be apprentice they would have Leary and just open a shop rather than wasting money and time going to university. a university is an intellectual environment not what we have in this country.

You see, both of you are harping about to make money! if the essence of going to school was making money then you both have a terrible idea what schooling is. schooling is meant to solve environmental problems in the cause of creating solution then the money comes not nonsense you both have there.

I'm talking of solving a futuristic unemployment endemic you're here telling me about rubbish. so much for the education you Have. and you said pride because you're a graduate? graduate should be professionals so they should go low because they are graduate? nonsense!
CareerRe: Why Nigerian Youths Need To Make The Transition From Graduate To Apprentice by Dirkcoyt: 7:39am On Mar 12, 2018
You're not serious ! Graduate should turn apprentice?
After reading all through? i ts simply a waste of time to go to the university to become an apprentice of a road side.

What have always propose is, vocational skill acquisition at the roadside while in secondary for good 3 yrs of senior school ss1-3 . after gained skill they will decide to further based on area of skill they have acquire. during their university days the government post them to companies every holiday to learn the professional side. Now they have both skill and field experience. by the time of graduation what you have is a full scale graduate. Then we sponsor the extremely brilliant mind on research works based on scholarship. I mean the first class. Pay them well as researchers in that way we have brilliant minds in out research sector.

not go turn apprentice after years of tiling in university. nonsense!

bros abeg no make me laugh fall ground grin

No bs their fault, na all this motivational speaker dey prop d up coupled with unemployment.

In as much as entrepenuership is the best way to financial freedom its still the most tedious route for the faint hearted.

you are not an entreprneur if you idea/work as been done before. entrepreneur means new entry. bill gate introduce microsoft which was never around, steve job introduce apple a very different OS. likewise elon musk telsa or spaceX.
our very own njoku of iroko tv brought in something different.

anyone doing what an entrepenuer already done will only play catch up. look at mtn and others? dstv and others. this two introduce new idea into naija.

if you are a entrepenuer it will be your ideas and others. A pioneer always standout. stop letting motivational speakers prop you up. if its not new idea is not entrepenuer. entrepenuering means solving existing problem with new idea. anything apart from this is just joining the bandwagon of self employed.

entrepeneur needs serious funding and network buidling to eventually weave it altogether. jobberman is king because they are the first to launch an online job recruiting firm. linda ikeji because among the first set of bloggers. nairaland because its first set of forum. notjustok because it the first to solving music download.

To qualify as entrepeuer be the first to solve a problem.

Don't mind him. history is important and history is for the open hearted not some emotional dimwits.

.

how can anybody with inkling of history say there was no resistance at the battle ore its akin to saying British never colonized Nigeria.

You see, some of my research of medieval Europe and some of movies that portrayed that time shows kings start preparing there next in line for governance by appointing a history teacher on war and politics , and event of war and politics that happened in other countries. examples I can think of his the Rome days. how octavious ceaser was appointed history teachers by Julius ceaser.

Note: the generation of those that led us to this abyss of government were youth( young military officers of their 20s the oldest was in his mid 30s by leading needless coups )

I very well know this and I admire this about the yorubas.

...But one question, how come with all the educated and cultural cherishing yoruba people in Kwara state (Kwara south especially).
How come only the Saraki family and few other Ilorin elites rule the entire Kwara state like a private family business? And promote Fulani interests in the state?
My good friend letbus both share knowledge.

I understand the rationale behind your consciousness about the fulani based on what you've seen around you as a plateau man but the thing is, it's a different game in the south.

we have a lot of elites in yorubaland that are very much conscious of happening's around. make no mistake they will never support a Fulani agenda that will encroach their culture. Yoruba value culture a lot

Their are thousands of Yoruba elite that won't even marry outside of their ethnic group at all no matter how exposed and educated that are. between, we have a history with the Fulani that we've won all confrontation from them e.g read up on jalumi war

I don't want to use Ilorin, I want to posit from kwara POV. you see the Ilorin emirate doesn't go beyond the emirate as you can see the surrounding towns in kwara have oba, like the jebba town, offa, oro etc.

Up till now the non illorite still clamour for igbomina state, the Ilorin people are tilting to the north because they believe not control the Nigeria politics, people like saraki tend to gain from a northern leaning than a western leaning. make no mistake its more political than nothing, that's why you see saraki with Yoruba wife, Yoruba names for children and giving out his daughter to a Christian Yoruba. this tels you of a man who still love his heritage but his ambition won't let him clearly pronounce where is loyalty lies

Break Nigeria today, saraki will never cede north but join kith and kin west because he stand to gain in west than north where he's termed lesser northerner because the northerner knows he's a hardcore Yoruba man regardless of his political affiliation. the kwara ruling class are people of interest.

you still see people clamoring for obaship in Ilorin till now because they still see it as a Yorubaland.
As far away as the okun people of Yoruba stock in kogi surrounded by two different ethnic group still hold their loyalty to Yoruba nation. even as far as Benin republic you will find an oba there.

Make no mistake Ilorin was never invaded by Fulani, it was a rebelious Yoruba general that invited a Fulani to help defeated his brother which later they Fulani topped through palace politics. if he had stuck with is brothers there even be a fight not to talk of inviting a Fulani. and when the Fulani felt they need to expand to the hinterlands of Yoruba nation they were really dealt a shameful blow by the coalition of forces of the Yoruba nation at the battle of jalumi in osogbo.
PoliticsRe: Herdsmen Killings: Herders Take Oath In Ekiti by Dirkcoyt: 8:52pm On Feb 20, 2018
Actually this oath thing works, I know of a town in kebbi state where all this Fulani were robbing houses, killing natives that rear cattle's because they believe cattle business is a Fulani thing. so after much deliberation by the elders of the town they had to make the Fulani robbers since most people know them, they had to make them use Quran to make and oath and since then there have been relative peace in the town.

But still we can't give into archaic practice, we still need a lasting solution of ranching.

Yet the mom will be claiming I married as a virgin but she doesn't argue with her.it was then I realise they also lie too and create a picture of being morally perfect just to act as a moral police to their kids

the truth is most African parents are afraid to ask questions

the truth is most Africans believe they know better because they gave birth to you

the truth is most African parents are largely ignorant

the truth is African parents don't know difference between when to love ,when to protect and when to respect

Christianity EtcRe: Share The First Verse Of Your Favorite Christian Hymn by Dirkcoyt: 11:23am On Feb 18, 2018
Mine are two songs.
first

Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
T'was blind but now I see

I love this hymn so much because of the story behind it, how slaves were shipped and how the captain of the ship was saved from perpetrating the evils of slavery.

the second

The Great Physician now is near,
The sympathizing Jesus;
He speaks the drooping heart to
cheer,
Oh, hear the voice of Jesus!
Sweetest note in seraph song;
Sweetest name on mortal
tongue;
Sweetest carol ever sung:
Jesus, blessed Jesus!

I love this hymn a lot because it comfort me when I'm down.

CultureRe: Plan To Install Yoruba Oba In Ilorin Not Over- Afonja Descendant by Dirkcoyt: 5:13pm On Feb 15, 2018
Nowenuse:
You are very correct.

Zuru people are supposed to be in Niger state. As a matter of fact, there were under Niger province during the colonial period.
Some Zurus are still in Niger & some in Zamfara.

During the division of the old north-western state into Sokoto & Niger states. Sokoto was meant for Hausas while Niger was meant for the minorities. As usual, Hausa-fulanis cheated the minorities and today they have Zamfara & Kebbi states from Old Sokoto state and they carved some Niger state minorities into Kebbi & Zamfara south in order to make the states bigger in population.

This is why Zuru people alongside other Kainji speaking tribes like Kambari, Dukawa, Shingini, Kadara & Kamuku in both Kebbi south & Niger north have been fighting for their own Kainji state. This state was recommended for creation in the 2014 national confab.

The past generations were completely deceived, this our generation are getting wiser and we must change a lot of things.
you're very right, the popular state creation I heard was that kontagora and zuru will match but kontagora people want the capital in kontagora if eventually a state is created.

i havent masturbated before. sometimes I feel people exaggerate this masturbation stuff because its weird to me not until a friend of mine said he masturbate when I brought up the topic one day.

The is I find it hard to even think of masturbating not to talk of stroking my dick or apply lotion and visulaze and jerk off. the visualization won't just happen. I'm not someone that attach emotions to things so I find it difficult to do all that. Though I watch homemade porn sometimes but that where it ends not to extent of masturbating. its just pointless to me.

if you ever see me hand in my boxer then I only scratch my dick. even the porn sef, if its not homemade like someone recorded it I won't connect to the porn. I'm visual but not really carried away.
