Some interested person on vengeful mission for his political mentor wants to grind Orlu to pulps because of event that happened way back during the demand for creation of Njaba state.

Even PMB and the presidency may not be aware of the reason why a state governor boasts that he invited soldiers to invade part of his state.

Which state governor in Nigeria would do that? Only in Imo state.

Let those southern politicians of one Nigeria think twice.

Arewa adopted Islamic Sharia criminal laws.

ISWAP/Boko Haram are only fighting for a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws.

Once south of Nigeria is removed from north, peace starts to reign in Arewa Sharia Republic and in the new southern and Middle Belt Republics.

seunrebirth:
Stemming from the recent attack on the person of Senator Rocha's Okorocha, former governor of IMO State, there are emerging facts to what transpired at the scene of the attack.

Okorocha, who was viewed from an emerging video clip made available to the media by his P.A, was seen querying the essence of the attack on him and his aides when the visit was a normal routine check of his wife's property.

In the video, Okorocha asked the security personnel around the premises, if there was a court order for the invasion.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK2Mig6s724

He was also in fear because the invaders were masked thugs. According to the video, an explanation from one of the security points to the fact that the invades were ordered from the government house in Owerri.

Soon after his comments, gunshots were heard from the background believed to be tear-gas fired by both the thugs and in-house security. That led to everyone scampering for safety.

Shortly after the fierce attack by the alleged thugs, some of his entourage were seen in a pool of blood from machete cuts including Okorocha's in-law alleged to have inflicted on him by the thugs.

Senator Okorocha who was whisked out of the scene by his aides for safety was short of words as to what could warrant an unprecedented attack on him as a citizen inspecting his property.

Watch the video below where Hope Uzodinma boys were celebrating after the attack on Rochas Okorocha the same night:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MlkT_vKGpI

Recall that the property in question has been under investigation following a fall out by the new administration in Imo State government.

The estate has been under lock with security guards. According to reports, Okorocha who was in the state for a function decided to have a routine check at the estate hence, he claims, it still belongs to him.

All the sentiments you expressed here are the sort of questions normal educated human beings should be asking. I'm even shocked that in the midst of all these madness going on in Imo State, there is yet to be a proportional massive outcry against it.

All our acclaimed education is a total waste if people can't differentiate between vindictive and destructive acts from holistic actions.

It seems like this "crazy and mad" governor was imposed on Imo State to totally destroy us.

If Imo State is his personal property or investment, would he be treating it this way? Is he really passionate about developing the state or just to massage his own ego??

What is going on in Imo State is very disturbing and it's even more appalling that our elite and celebrities are more concerned about what happens in Lagos State than in Igboland.

Shame.
No elected political office holder is allowed by law to use government offices to acquire land and build private businesses, either for himself or for an acquaintance.

You are for future governors to seize the income of the state and build private businesses, step down from office and own the businesses.

Those being demolished could be because the ancestral owners of the land were robbed of their lands by governor using government instruments.

The ancestral owners might want their lands back, notwithstanding what someone else built on the land.

Investing in the state my foot. You display a lot of emotive ignorance.

Rochas Okorocha is smarter than his critics: his government registered Eastern Palm university as IMSG university with the National Universities Commission, never as a PPP. You may wish to go to prison on his behalf for laying claim for what does not belong to him or his associates.

IMSG shall recover a lot of the money it put in building Eastern Palm university by selling the now highly valued land in Owerri where IMSU is temporarily located with only two TETFUND buildings as solid university structures.

Hoteliers in Owerri are expected to team up to buy the Owerri land, and build a City University of Owerri there.

Our young and impressionable students move down to main IMSU campuses in Eastern Palm university in Ideato, Umuna Okigwe and IMSUTH.
The ultramodern structures university built by Okorocha government in Ideato, and very well equipped, is in a very serene area good for studies, it has hostels that can accommodate tens of thousands of residents, rent is very cheap outside the campus.
There is no convention or constitution stating that State university must be in the state capital. Abia State university is in Uturu.

Anambra State university is in Igboariam and Uli.
Owerri already has FUTO, AIFCE government universities, and Polytechnics Nekede.

Imo state university deserves to be on the site of Eastern Palm university in Ideato.

Been a while I visited this thread. You gave a very wise suggestion... "No constitution states that the state university must be in the state capital", so true

There have been numerous well justified calls for the relocation of IMSU, I think Uzodimma should write his name in gold by doing so. I just hope he doesn't decide to destroy it same way he plans to do the estate built by Rochas under another muddled claim
In bold: no constitution says state university must be wholly or partly be in the state capital.

It’s like Hope Uzodinma is ready to play COWARD by not locating IMSU permanent in Ideato where IMSG started in 2012 to build the structures for IMSU.

At best, leave one or two faculties of IMSU in the present TETFUND houses in the Owerri site of IMSU, take the rest of the faculties to Umuna Okigwe and Ideato.

No heavens can fall for doing that. It’s rather a gain for Imo state.

Imo people are behind Uzodinma.

Imo people refused Okorocha son-in-law to succeed Okorocha as governor purposely to retrieve what Okorocha stole from Imo state.

Orji Izo Kalu had his choice candidate succeed him as governor, hence Kalu was able to hide his misdeeds as governor of Abia state.

Rochas was/is a good man. If not greed I don't know what some people are looking for in politics. These free education schools he built most of them even before he started contesting for presidency back then in 2007 and later became governor. I used to hear about him back then so much. Everyone loved him. He was known for philanthropy. His foundation is used to sharing money and gifts to orphans, different market women groups and so many other people.

TBF Rochas could afford to build the disputed hotel and university in Imo State in multiple fold even without venturing into the mucky waters of politics.

Rochas really spoilt his name and lost the goodwill and love people had for him when he became governor and decamped to the witches coven called APC and above all started acting like someone who's possessed. He could have stayed neutral and become an elder statesman and respected billionaire of Imo like Iwuanyanwu and as Authur Eze is pretending to be.

Also he fumbled by presenting Uche Nwosu. If he presented a different person as his successor he could have easily won the election and then Uche Nwosu can come in after 8 years of the person.
It’s like Rochas himself writing to hoodwink strangers to look away from his mixture of his personal businesses and Imo state government businesses for eight years he was governor of Imo state.

Abeg, find strangers to deceive. People of Imo state know that what have been seized so far from Rochas genuinely belong to Imo state government.

unlawfully using violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
"a terrorist organization" IPOB" ESN

Bandit? a robber or outlaw belonging to a gang and typically operating in an isolated or lawless area.
"the bandit produced a weapon and demanded money"

Why Government don't negotiate with Terrorist? There are multiple motivations for such policies, including a lack of guarantee of the hostage's safe return upon payment, as well as not creating an incentive for future hostage-takings.

Why Nigerian government negotiate with Bandits is because they're outlaws trying to make money, politically not affiliated. Bandits on several occasions release victims without giving them money because some of their concerns are reasonable. Government have fail them. Also governors and middle men not FG negotiating with Bandits.

This is the Almighty US negotiating with Taliban
Separating terrorists from Bandits as you did was being rueful. They are not too different from the other, especially from the Nigerian scenario.
Taliban still occupies much of Afghanistan despite the so-called negotiations with the US.

The Allied Forces dislodged the Taliban from nearly all of Afghanistan and decided to go home.

But hardly had the Allied forces reached their respective countries when the Taliban reoccupied nearly all of Afghanistan.

You don’t negotiate with terrorists.
