We are in 21st century social media world, Nigeria need a 21st century compliant president who will be active on Twitter and other social media platforms reading news direct from the citizens like US President Trump and not filtered and selected news made available to him by his media team.

A president that operates his social media handles and replies to his followers and fans is what Nigeria needs to ensure the president is aware of the nation's situation at all time without having to lie that he didn't know about this and that.
Go preach this epistle to the Almajiris, the Talakawas and under age northerners in the 19 northern states.

Bulhari is sure of getting 25% of votes in each of the 19 northern states.
A Nigerian presidential candidate needs to win 25% of votes in 24 states to be declared winner.

His relation who heads INEC, with the security agencies shall help Buhari to rig and get 25% votes in five other southern states, mainly the SW.
Na BUHARI re-election strategy be this ooo.

Southerners politicians refuse to insist on restructuring Nigeria politically before next election.

[Owerri has to be developed to Mega City status by Gov. Okorocha, and possibly his son-in-law, or by other future governors of Imo state, with the federal allocations to Imo state and its local government areas; it doesn't matter as Orlu and other local government areas of Imo state outside Owerri capital territory remain nearly a century of underdevelopment, as they are today, behind Owerri. Why? Because Owerri is capital of Imo state].

Sounds stupid, but the above is what you and others like you on this thread go for.

In Nigeria and in other countries of the world, there are too many state capitals that are less developed and less expansive than the other towns or cities in the same state.

There is no constitutional obligation on a state government that it must develop the state capital more than any other town in the same state.

It's rather obligatory on a state governor to pursue uniform development of the state.

Instead of continuing to swim in your ocean of ignorance, google:

"why are the capitals of many US states smaller and less developed than other cities of the state?"

Ofuzo:
YOU ARE WRONG ON ALL COUNTS.
It's ok for you to come here everyday to cry and wail about okorocha's developmental priorities, it's entirely different thing altogether when you start to create your own sets of facts.
You said it's ILLEGAL, and unconstitutional to develop owerri and abandon other regions of the state. For starters, this is totally and completely false. Okorocha have not abandoned other regions, rather have concentrated on owerri. Also, if you read my last post carefully, you'd seen where I advised you to take the man to court if you THOUGHT what he was doing was ILLEGAL AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Just coming here on nairaland to allege, is not enough. My hunch, is that you already think that you can't win the case, so you haven't tried.
Yes, I'm from orlu senatorial zone, and I care about the neglect of any region of imo state. But through successive governors, orlu have never changed much in the last fourty years. Even then, I wouldn't be surprised if okorocha's government accomplished more in orlu than all his predesessors.
Yes, it's true that people can ask questions on this thread about okorocha's developmental priorities, but ONLY DUMB AND STUPID people waist their time asking questions, that they know will not get any response, hence everybody's admonition to you to stop going around in circles.

"There's no other state in nigeria with this sort of concentration of development infrastructure in the state as is in imo state"
Your point here can only be adjudged to be correct if there's any other town in nigeria that have improved as fast as owerri. You see, I tried to explain that to you in my last post but you seem also to have glossed over it. Let me repeat that; okorocha's government could very easily have tarred a few roads here and there and still receive accolades as is evident in other states. I used obiano's anambra and Theodore orji's abia state as an example. Both men are receiving accolades even though their states or cities have not transformed the same way owerri has. The only reason you can come here and YAK YAK YAK about owerri's favouritism is because SOMETHING IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING IN OWERRI. There's is no way, in high havens you will be crying about orlu, if Okorocha had scantly developed owerri like his predesessors. So, your claim that that there's no other state were such is going on is RUBBISH because there's no town in nigeria that have advanced as fast as owerri has, in the last five years.

INSTEAD OF TUCANO HELICOPTERS' BULLETS, RESOLVE NIGERIA'S POLITICAL PROBLEMS THROUGH DIALOGUE.

Nigeria has no hostile neighbouring countries.

Therefore, the 12 Tucano helicopters approved by POTUS TRUMP are meant to kill off Nigerians - be they militants in the south, terrorists in the north, herdsmen in the Middlebelt, or separatists in the southeast region.

The terrorists in the north, like Boko Haram, are Nigerians who fight for a territory to be governed through Islamic Sharia Criminal codes, the same Sharia Criminal codes that Buhari said in 2001 that he would not stop pursuit for till they are used all over Nigeria.

The killer herdsmen are like the Boko Haram -Jihadists who also want their own territory to continue with their outdated style of cattle grazing.

The militants of the south want a fairer deal from the resources found at their doorsteps.

The Biafra separatists are tired of the snail speed or arrested development of Nigeria arising from the country's impracticable unitary government system under a skewed and lopsided political structure created by northern military dictators.

Looked at from the right perspective, POLITICAL REFORMS, INSTEAD OF TUCANO FIGHTERS, IS WHAT NIGERIA NEEDS.

Look, I don't know how old you are, but I'm old enough to be somebody's grandfather ok. So, please don't come here and accuse me of lying about my area in imo state. I don't have time for childish games. I'm not even here to debate you on the choices made by okorocha on his developmental strides. I only came here to tell you to channel your anger against Okorocha somewhere else because this is the wrong medium for that. It should have been obvious to you by now that Okorocha could care less what you think about his priorities. Coming here everyday crying and wailing about lack of development in orlu doesn't seem to be yielding any results. I know you won't take my advice, but you should try somewhere else. Why don't you take the man to court if you think that his developmental priorities are ILLEGAL. Since you have not done that, I'll assume that you don't think you'll win the case. If you don't think you'll win the case, then the only option left for you is to vote him out. Why don't you concentrate on that since your public campaign on nairaland IS NOT YIELDING ANY FRUIT.
(1)
You stated earlier that [you seriously believe that gov. Rochas Okorocha is embezzling the IGR of Imo state].

FYI, since 1999, Okorocha is the only governor of Imo state no serious person has accused of embezzlement of Imo state government funds.

My grouse, and very deep grouse of many in Orlu, against Rochas Okorocha, is his colossal failure to pursue uniform development of entire Imo state.

It's illegal, foul play and unconstitutional for a state governor to use the development funds of the lgas to concentrate development infrastructures in the capital territory of the state.
Okorocha has gotten away with this illegality because of the type of legislators he filled IMHA with.

You and others like you who openly or tacitly support this Apartheid policy of Okorocha's government are FRAUDSTERS.

(2)
You say that you come from Orlu senatorial district but don't care about Okorocha's neglect of the district, including its principal town;

that you don't want to notice any beef that Orlu has with Okorocha on this thread.
My fiend, only a goat can believe your claim of coming from Orlu senatorial district.

(3)
This thread is not restricted to displaying Rochas Okorocha's edifices he builds in Owerri;

people can also ask questions about what Okorocha's government is supposed to have built, but did not build for example, in Dikenafai of Ideato South lga, in Awomamma of Oru West lga, in Ohaji of Ohaji/Egbema lga.

To crown himself as unrepentant for his lopsided development policy, with underdevelopment of Orlu as his major target, Okorocha established yet another IMSU campus in Owerri senatorial district which also hosts all the three public universities in Imo state.

There is no other state in Nigeria with this sort of concentration of development infrastructures in the state capital as is in Imo state.

Even Achebe the literal genius spoke about how clannish Ndiigbo are. Even if the whole owerri is moved to Orlu, the isiazu will not still be satisfied. Owerri is our state capital, a collective heritage of ndi imo, others states are struggling to build a standard and world class city to attract investments and foreigners eg, eko Atlantic City, kaduna economic city etc, and you want us to spread our little resources so thin that we begin to wonder what we have done with it?
You keep talking about a central water system, I'm born and based in lagos and I schooled in Ph city, there is no central water system in these two states, you have to wake up to reality, this is Nigeria, not run by government ever survives.
Someone in an earlier post said why would someone open a roofing factory in his village, and abagworo was against him. Look let me tell you, I'm a trained economist and economics of scale helps quicken industrial development to a large extent, look at the hotel industry at owerri, as several hotels keep springing around that small city (new owerri), road expansion, electricity penetration, Population in-flux, and other business to service this hotel industries move in as well, look at avu and Umuguma that was once a forest before hand, there are real estate business booming because of the Hotel business there.
If we can build owerri to a stage of national and world acclaim, there is nothing holding imo state or south east in general from going further. Now I'm not saying other communities should be neglected, No. But emphasis should be made on owerri as the center of attraction, and used as a bait to attract investments in Imo. We need the population both foreign and local(organized market), investments(foreign) if we really want to see our home develop in our life time. Else in the next 40 years, we will still be talking about telling igbos to bring their investments home.
The federal allocations to Owerri, the internal revenues generated by Owerri and Owerri's share of the federal allocations to Imo state are what MUST be used by IMSG to provide development infrastructures in Owerri.

Only a CLOWN would suggest that the federal allocations to Orlu, Okigwe, Oguta, Nkwerre, Ideato South and North, and the other local government areas of Imo state outside Owerri, be used by IMSG to build a Mega City in Owerri. That's exactly your suggestions here.

Well, in 2012, a professor from Owerri called gov. Rochas Okorocha a "CLOWN IN DOUGLAS HOUSE" in a widely-circulated article.

Industries attract population to a town and grow the town to a mega city. How many industries have you, an Owerri man, established in Owerri?

Thank gov. Okorocha for misusing the federal allocations of the local government areas of Imo state to build you Owerri Mega City, while the local government areas of Imo state the allocations were meant for, deteriorate and get deserted to other states, because of absence of basic modern development infrastructures.

Thanks for highlighting where I stated that I'm from orlu zone. I did that so you don't think I'm from owerri. Okorocha is not perfect. I seriously think that he's embezzling the IGR of the state. I also agree with some other people that questioned his numerous SHODDY projects. I'm very very very very angry that he built 27 general hospitas and have not opened them for business. Instead, he saw it fit to donate one of the hospitals to the nigerian military. Two things that he will forever be remembered though, is his free education, and his urban renewal projects. Those are the two most important things that any government in nigeria should embark upon definitely two of the most important in my book. It looks like he's also decided to leave a legacy in owerri by making it a city the entire igbo nation should be proud of. Owerri is the only igbo city I feel good about whenever I visit the south east. As a matter of fact, it's probably the only igbo city I'll bring any of my foreign friends to. It's pretty obvious that he's trying to use owerri as a gateway to the entire igboland because the rest of the igbo cities and towns look like shitholes (excuse my language). Now, I agree with you about few projects in orlu. Honestly though, there's no state government with the exception of Lagos, delta, rivers and akwa ibom states that have the kinds of resources that will allow them to rebuilt three cities in four or eight years time. Just like chime concentrated his development in enugu, Okorocha is doing the same in owerri. Maybe, another governor will come in and sprinkle some in okigwe and orlu. And like I said before, I'm from orlu senatorial zone ( not orlu town) but I'm not unhappy with what Okorocha is doing in owerri. I actually applaud him for being the only igbo governor that came into power AND STARTED BUILDING STUFF. I am very happy that owerri looks ten times better today than before he came into power. I might even vote for his son in law if it means continuing okorocha's BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION. The pace of his building and construction should NEVER be interrupted. The only person most likely to continue his building and construction is his son in law. We need to BUILD BUILD BUILD in igboland. I really don't CARE where the building and construction is happening, be it in agbor, asaba, portharcourt, aba, okigwe, umuahia, orlu, onitsha, nnewi, awka or owerri.
My friend, it's like you suggesting that a Nigerian president uses the development funds of the country to concentrate on developing Abuja as the gateway to Nigeria, so that foreigners entering Nigeria shall say Nigeria is great;

while other Nigerian cities including, your city, Owerri, wait; and remain a century of modernity behind Abuja.

It's exactly what Okorocha is playing out in State level in Imo state with his use of the federal allocations to Imo state and its local government areas in building whatever suits his fancy in Owerri,

while the lgas for whose development the federal government gives the allocations remain many centuries of modernity behind Owerri.

FYI, Rome was not built in a day, but Roman Emperors
built other Roman Empire cities like Paris, London, Damascus, Naples, etc., at the same time Rome was being built.

Sorry to burst your bubble:
1) YOU HAVE NO IOTA OF IDEA OF WHAT DEVELOPMENT OF A STATE IS ALL ABOUT.

2) I CAN BET ANYTHING TO SHOW THAT YOU ARE FROM OWERRI.

Fortunately, the votes of Owerri alone can't be enough for you people of Owerri to plant Okorocha's son-in-law to continue with your craving here that IMSG builds you a 'Tower of Babel' City in Owerri, while rest of Imo state remain nearly a century of modernity behind Owerri.

In Owerri, you don't even have pipe borne water which is the first obligation of government and necessity for a modern city. Yet you boast of urban renewal in Imo state.

I'm glad that Rochas is proving the point that a governor is from a zone doesn't mean he will take all development projects to the zone. The Sullivan Chime's style of leadership
Okorocha wants to "appoint" a surrogate to succeed him to continue with his war against Orlu.

Go to earlier pages, the rants about Okorocha's war against Orlu stopped until recently when Okorocha announced his son-in-law as his possible successor.

Owerri community tacitly supports Okorocha in his bid to "appoint" his successor to continue to reduce Imo state to become Owerri capital territory,

It's Apartheid development policy by Okorocha to continue to economically empower one of the three zones of Imo state, to the detriment of people in the other two zones.

Even Okorocha's Ideato Ideato people, except Okorocha's village in Ogboko, suffer tremendous neglect like other areas of Orlu zone, from Okorocha's Apartheid development policy.

I passed Orlu last Xmas, and I observed that the old stadium is now roofed with a green roof, renovated, re-fenced and converted to a square while the person that claims to come from Orlu is trying to tell us that he has not noticed that. And kept on deceiving people on this forum. Africans have a long way to go. Everything must not be politics.
I have never liked to reply you because you are a most dishonest Otimkpu for Okorocha.

The roof by local iron workers you talk about is no where good near the old roof built by VAST construction which specializes in stadium construction.

Udenwa built that wonderful stadium! I had the opportunity been in attendance once when heartland played some of their home matches there. Hmm, but what is really happening? I know Orlu LGA worked against Okorocha's reelection during the last poll. It was on record that Okorocha lost woefully in some parts of Orlu zone, this I'm aware of, but that shouldn't be a reason for Rochas to abandon his initial project he began in Orlu during his first tenure. Yes few godfathers worked against him, but the people still fought for him. It's really a shame, because despite everything Orlu still remains Rochas senatorial zone. Owelle seems to be focusing on areas that gave him votes including my own Umuaka, but how on earth he decided to abandon Orlu municipal still worries me. Our people say Aku ru ulo, but Owelle seems to be doing the opposite.
@Discusant, I have told you several times that this forum isn't the best place to pass your message to Rochas. Unless you want to tell me that you are happy with what is happening in Orlu (both you and your colleagues) and now want to use this medium to play politics with Orlu development. What stop you and OPOCCA from meeting Owelle one on one in a meeting and complain to him, that is if you're really sincere with your cries. Because you keep harping on this since years now and yet nothing tangible has come out from your incessant wails. You guys should meet Rochas and settle this once and for all. Or likely vote him out in the next election and bring in someone that can transform Orlu for good, just like Udenwa.
Okorocha came to office with mind already made up because of old inter-communal squabbles between him and some people from Orlu to execute a vendetta against anything Orlu.

Too many efforts of OPPOCA and Orluzurumee to broker peace between Rochas Okorocha and Orlu was botched by Okorocha. At one point, Okorocha's agents came to Orlu and damaged the canopies prepared to receive Okorocha for peace meeting.
Okorocha never turned up for the meeting.

In 2016, elders from Orlu zone went to Owerri, met with and pleaded with Okorocha to finish the roads he scrapped and abandoned in Orlu area.
Okorocha's response to the elders from Orlu was that they should rather migrate to Owerri and claim the capital of Imo state as theirs.

Watch one of the videos of Okorocha in 2012 where he said EVIL PEOPLE live in Orlu.

What you called wailing by Orlu people here is nothing but bringing to the notice of the public the war Okorocha is using the venerated office of a state governor to fight against Orlu.

Owerri-Umuaka-Orlu road was rebuilt by Udenwa government through federal aid.
Before Udenwa, the road was nearly impossible.

Akokwa-Ogboko-Orlu road was nearly impassable for decades but was rebuilt by Udenwa government.
Before Udenwa, only a desperado from Orlu would contemplate going towards the road.

Buhari won election no thanks to Nigeria's skewed and lopsided political structure created by northern soldiers

One region north was turned into 19 states and Abuja political units

but two southern regions were turned to only 17 states.

A presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 24 states before proclaimed winner of Nigeria's presidential election.

Thus it's easy for Buhari or even a goat from Fulani-controlled northern region of Nigeria to win even a professor of law or Economics from the southern regions in any presidential election of Nigeria, so long as the north insists the president must come from the north.

In an ideal state, every city, town or locality has what it contributes to the coffers of the state.

No State thrives by its governors hiding under the mantra: "State capital", to dispense nearly the yearly capital development funds of the state on building what fancied the governors in the state capital, but abandon the rest of the state to deteriorate - worse during Okorocha's government.

IMPEACHMENT.

Okorocha is under oath to govern Imo state, not Owerri.

For using the federal allocations to Imo state and its local government areas to buy hundreds of taxis, tens of buses, and police vehicles, but ordered that the vehicles serve only Owerri, Okorocha should have been impeached.

Rwanda? No, not between Middlebelt and Fulani.

Middlebelt leaders can easily declare an independent Middlebelt country in order to save the people of the Middle belt.
The UN must come to defend the new country.

But will the thirst for cheap cash from crude oil in the Niger delta allow Middlebelt leaders save their people?

Serious work ongoing at Douglas road. It seems the end of recycled dirty politics of Douglas is at hand and once again Okorocha did it despite the attempts by opposition to make it unachievable.
Build new estates and layouts to expand or beautify a town, no sane leader destroys old town centre to expand road or beautify a town.

The huge amount of money spent on destruction of Douglas and Ekeonunwa market, and rebuilding them, could build scores of urban and rural roads in New Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe areas.

Obsession with State capital.

Lets face it guys, Buhari remains the biggest ponzi scam after MMM.

Voting for that thing wey get long neck like the devil's walking stick in 2019 is like nailing ourselves to the cross again for the next four years.

How a dullard like him became a president still remains a misery to me.

But sincerely speaking now....Buhari have pinally nailed himself to the cross with that unfropessional sfeech.
How can he call the feefle that will vote por him lazy feefle... A fresident por that matter! Ah swear, this matter tire me o.
It shouldn't be a mystery to you how Buhari became president of a country.

First, the Oyibo plantation owners of Nigeria want Buhari in command so that appropriate account of crude oil lifted can't be rendered.

Second, the whooping number of 19 states and Abuja proliferated in one northern region is a sure ticket to the Buharis of northern Nigeria to win Nigeria's presidential election anytime. A presidential candidate must score 25% of votes in 24 of the 36 states.

So Buhari can abuse Nigeria's youths because he knows he can easily win 25% votes in each of the 19 northern states, then look for five other states in the south to complete the deal.

The lopsided political structure created by northern soldiers makes the Buharis a pain in the neck of every Nigerian.

Ikengawo, leave matter for matthias. IMSUTH is the most important and highest State medical institution in Imo State. Is there any other State healthcare facility greater than it?
IMSUTH is now functioning well, as doctors have decided to outlast Rochas Okorocha and his self-serving plans that stalled development of IMSUTH.

Okorocha still refuses to asphalt the 1.5km main road leading to IMSUTH, but patients, doctors and hospital workers who now understand the reasons for Okorocha's hostility to IMSUTH now throng the hospital.

Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos

Prince Tony Momoh, a former Minister of information and a national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has given reasons why it will be difficult for Igbos to attain the presidency in Nigeria, citing disunity and their preference for supporting the candidates with huge financial chests during election.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with DAILY INDEPENDENT on why it has been difficult for the Igbos to produce a president since 1999, Momoh said one of the problems facing the Igbo is their inability to be united and queue behind one single candidate for presidential election.
He gave an instance of what happened in 2003 when the late Chuba Okadigbo, who was President Muhammadu Buhari’s running mate in the 2003 presidential election, visited Igbo leaders in Lagos and solicited their support. According to him, the Igbo leaders who had earlier collected N6m from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) asked them to bring N6m before they can give their support to Okadigbo, who is one of them.

“The fact is the Igbos have been in a difficult place since the civil war. They started from scratch after the civil war and they had to reestablish themselves in the Nigerian polity and they had to start moving up slowly in the institution. Many of them their senior people in the Army were no longer there but they have moved in the Army to the highest level, even to the level of Chief of Army Staff” .
“The Igbos are a wonderful people. For instance, at the end of the war, inspite of what you’ve had, they gave you 20 pounds. Every other thing collapsed. Then the Igbos came back to Nigeria and Nigerians celebrated with them and forgot that there was any war . Where they have property, apart from Port Harcourt, people were collecting the rents for them and gave it back to them. But the fact is climbing the social, political and economic ladder takes time” .

“But because of commercial activities, they dominated the economic terrain in Nigeria, the Igbos are the main group of any city in Nigeria. Even in Lagos today, they have Igbos in the House of Representatives” .
“But the Igbos are as disunited as the youths of Nigeria who wants to be president. We were in ANPP. We went to Lagos with the late Chuba Okadigbo who was Buhari’s running mate in the 2003 presidential elections. We met the Igbo chiefs in Lagos and asked for Igbo votes. The chief said we should come back the next day. We came back the following day and he said ‘look at that corner, that is N6m that PDP gave us. Bring us N6m and we will vote for you. I will return the N6m given to us by PDP to them” .

“That is trading and I am not surprised because they are businessmen and they talk business. For you to be talking business, the highest bidder is the person you will befriend. Nigeria will always try to divide the Igbos through financial compromises” .
“ I speak truth to power, issues and institutions. If for instance, you have an Igbo aspiring to be president, you may have about 20 people from the same South-East wanting to be president. The issue is, how can they sit down and say we decide that we want a particular person as our candidate? Nigeria knowing that weakness will cause trouble so that they cannot be united. That is the problem” he said.

Tony Momoh,

Your ignorance full basket.
Momoh lied most of the time - from the first paragraph to the last.

Nigeria's skewed and lopsided 36 states + Abuja political structure created by northern soldiers is reason why Igbo presidency of Nigeria is pending.

Momoh has no intelligence to understand that it's absurd for the once one northern region of Nigeria to be allotted 19 states and Abuja, while once two southern regions were allotted only 17 states.

Land mass is NEVER used as yardstick to determine how many new federating units (states, provinces, lgas) can be created in any region of a country formed by different regions.

To be declared president of Nigeria, a presidential candidate must score 25% of votes in 24 states.

So it's difficult for an Igbo or even a Yoruba to win any candidate supported by Fulani-controlled northern Nigeria.

OBJ and Jonathan Presidencies were circumstantial.

I thought that they said that IPOB that didn't kill anyone is the real terrorist?

These pictures are just 'criminal activity' by the Herdsmen and is not Newsworthy

We should concentrate on flag waving IPOB, this is the main terrorist activity we should all be concerned about.
Wow, you forgot Oil Revenues in the Nigerdelta.
IPOB was to have gotten Biafra which would deprive oil revenues to the north and SW.
That's why IPOB was seen as terrorist group by blind people who still think that a country can't survive without crude oil revenues; blind people who don't see that the richest countries of the world today have no crude oil.
