Lexusgs430:Think the main election will throw up something different, the main parties have been ripped apart by the brexit issue, BP and Farage are a one trick pony- for a group that dont want to be in the EU, participating in the EU election is a big joke! They are just hunting for their 5 minute of fame and few perks of the same group they claim to want to get rid off. Once the main issues are put to scrutiny then they will fall aside as usual |
KingMira:Prince Harry on speed dial bro, Omoguo things ![]() |
Abini2012:Chilly? Why did I assume you're from Jos lol Actually the summer can be deceiving, one minute its 24C then after 4/5pm the cold slips up on you, always have a jumper in your backpack or in the car |

Mimzyy:I just feel sorry for the patient...what if they had cancer of the throat....having to do all that praise worship |
Hunnybee:In context, when was yours? |
seguno2:Most of these politicians are major shareholders of Julius Berger. you rarely hear of a project awarded to Julius Berger that is completed on time and budget! funny enough you will never hear anything from the contractors themselves, just politicians telling us all the excuses on their behalf- Nigerian engineers still using Rainfall as an excuse to delay projects, the usual slow release of funds etc Most of the equipment for the railways were imported doubt there is anything JB and RCC needs to import for road construction yet they will tell you how 'technical' it is |
Blue3k:Doubt there's an access road ready, even though theyve been planning an inland port for a very long time. Now they will make it all seem very urgent and hike the cost as usual. Ibadan to Kano will take a very long time, the next segement is Kano-Kaduna which is about 300km, then Ibadan to Abuja(im sure this is also broken into segments) if you consider Lagos-Ibadan 180KM took a very 'serious' FG 2.5-3years. I understand the chinese counterpart are pushing for the whole Ibadan-Kano segment at once but I doubt the govt can find the funds without interrupting works. Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is still trudging along after all these years |
AutoJoshNG:Such as...? |
Lexusgs430:that flight that had MASSive proloooong turbulence right.... ![]() |

Fake news... NRC will just hire NAF with a phone call? Abegi |
What a creature? It's just a bloody cat. You superstitious muppet. The cat was probably stuck in your ceiling looking for a way to escape or give birth. Why not just allow it escape instead of killing it? Some people are damaged beyond repair all because of Nollywood |
femiart:What are your options at the registry? 1- Arranged marriage? 2- short time marriage? 3- Pay as you go marriage? 4- Traditional marriage? |
AIB releases final reports on six plane accidents, says late Taraba gov not certified to fly April 25, 2019Agency Report The Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) on Thursday said late former Taraba Governor, Danbaba Suntai, was not certified to operate the Cessna 208B Caravan aircraft which crashed on October 25, 2012. The bureau said the aircraft, with registration number 5N-BMJ, which crashed at Kwanan-Waya Village, Yola South in Adamawa State, was also not in the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) registry. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the AIB Commissioner, Akin Olateru, made the disclosure at the release of six final accidents/serious incidents reports in Lagos. The released reports include that of the serious incident involving a Delta Air Lines Airbus A330-223 aircraft which occurred on February 13, 2018 at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos...... On the former governor’s crash, he said the bureau could not conclusively determine the cause of the accident and the aircraft maintenance history was not found in the registry of any Aircraft Maintenance Organisation. “However, the investigation identified the following factors which were that the pilot was not certified qualified and not competent to fly the aircraft, the decision of the pilot to operate a Visual Flight Rule (VFR) flight after sunset and inadequate oversight by the NCAA,” the commissioner said. He, however, explained that Mr Suntai had obtained a Private Pilot Licence and was qualified to fly Cessna 172 aircraft, having logged a total of 58 hours and 40 minutes of flights before the accident. Mr Olateru said the causal factor of the Delta Air Lines incident was due to an over-temperature condition and localised fire within the No. 1 engine cowling, which triggered a fire warning. “The over-temperature and fire were caused by the ignition of fuel from a hairline crack on the fuel manifold supplying fuel nozzle 1,” he added. www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/326991-aib-releases-final-reports-on-six-plane-accidents-says-late-taraba-gov-not-certified-to-fly.html |
Who is this blogger? Everything in here is wrong! Which helicopter? Who was the pilot? |
lalasticlala:Hi Lala. Tagged you in as this should ideally be in the properties section not for frontpage purposes. Many thanks Back to the topic Considering the thread is documenting long term infrastructural development in the area; it's very much relevant. |
Just reading this thread from the start. Almost shed a tear- comical and tragic at same time!! @lalasticlala |
Should we blame the recessions- huge drop in the global price of oil? Should we blame Ambode for the stalling of this project and many others that were seemingly progressing well under the previous government? The whole situation is not helped by the lack of information esp with the way Lagos state operate- grand obfuscation of project financing and implementation My understanding is the FG/world bank was funding this project with the lagos state also contributing it's own small portion therefore acting as the project supervisors Re: badagry expressway and train to this axis |
4th term law maker? She didn't throw her hat in the ring 4 times now she wants someone to simply step down for her? Why didnt she just put her name out there and test her own strength instead of waiting for favours? If someone steps down for her rather than getting the post herself, she would be in a compromising position throughout |
johnie:It's concealed elitism jare both of them...seems only people on the HIGHland pay proper tax with photo friendly backgrounds Ambode just went full experimental on the only road leading to that axis.... Ikeja/Airport road, Lagos-Abeokuta road all at once! There is/was a lot of praise for Ambode in the badagry axis. Misplaced imo considering the two major things i was interested in were practically dead during his tenure- the railway towards the axis and the expressway that were very visible during Fashola's tenure- Maybe 4 years in not enough... |
