@burglass55

First, accept this fact, you are a wicked man, a cheat, a fool, a hypocrite, an ungrateful guy, a bastard, a moroon, u are such a less of a man. I respect ur wife and if she doesn't take u back. All l can say is good for you. Next time, always remember that the devil u have is better than the angel u don't know. Am ashamed of you, just start getting ready for ur deportation because that's what ur wife would do next to you. No be she bring you abroad. Nonsense. am pissed.
TV/MoviesRe: Portrayal Of Kissing And Lovemaking In Nollywood Movies by disney(f): 1:17pm On Aug 30, 2006
Well, u guys are very funny. Hello, kissing and lovemaking in naija movies , yea rite. is very childish and immature but ok now, una wey de complain , can you urself shoot a love scene. Not to forget, you are in Nigeria 1) your family are strict disciplinarians 2) You know how nigerians refuse to marry people all in the name of what they heard or saw. 3 ) People would call you ashawo if you do bla bla.

I mean, I believe Nigerians can do better in their love scences but they are scared because of society and culture at hand. Well, I mean the so called actors and actresses are really trying their best. So , l no blame them because I too would do the same thing if l were in their shoes. No shaking. huh huh huh
Nairaland GeneralRe: What's Your 'Best' Nigerian Newspaper, and Why? by disney(f): 1:08pm On Aug 30, 2006
As for disneychick, punch is my favorite newspaper. I remember when l was in naija, my dad and mama always used to buy the punch every saturday and sunday. My favorite section used to me Dear Aunt Kemi. lol. lol. that was even when I was a kid not to talk of now am a full grown adult.

Everything about punch interests me like lifestyle, entertainment, fashion, cooking and my most favorite part is experience. Well, it's funny how you get hooked into something. Even in the states, l still find myself going to www.punchng.com every saturday and sunday because they got the very best stories. lol.lol. grin grin

lol @ kiki

no mind them guys o jare, there was a time, my boyfriend hurt my feelings. He knelt down on the road to beg me. Hello!!! ok now, don't kneel down for ur girlfriend, another man will snatch her from you and don't forget that , pride goes before a fall. U would loose what's precious to you all in the name of pride. Hello, by the way, white guys do that so why can't you african men learn from your mistakes o jare.lol.
RomanceRe: Moving In With My Boyfriend: Advisable Or Not? by disney(f): 10:33pm On Aug 28, 2006
I would not advise anyone to move in with her boyfriend because you might be heading for doom and not the altar. Just imagine, the guy would not appreciate you as he used to and sooner or later, use and dump go sele. Why not move in with your girlfriends? Doesn't that make sense? Think again before you leap. am sorry about ur condition though but be wise too in making decision.Stay blessed. grin grin
RomanceRe: Should A Guy Beg A Girl On His Knees If He Offend Her? by disney(f): 5:30pm On Aug 24, 2006
hum, shut up all you shallow minded guys, if you really love a woman, you won't mind doing anything just to show you are sorry.
FashionRe: Can You Wear A Bikini? by disney(op): 4:57pm On Aug 15, 2006
hum, anyways l feel ya all but am still disagreeing with the fact of chicks wearing shorts and bla bla to the beach. In that , what you are trying to hide, everybody has seen before. I mean you don't have to be naked but u can wear something sexy and cute.

FashionRe: Would You Go Shopping With Your Partner? by disney(f): 7:35pm On Aug 14, 2006
l mean it's not that bad to go shopping with a partner but most men have been known to dislike shopping and see it more like a woman's affair.
for me, l rather go by myself because men tend to loose their patience with a lady when they go shopping. He be pissed off like do you really need that shoe, earrings, did'nt you just buy that same top before? You have tons and tons of beads , you don't need another pair, Why you wasting time looking at that bra. huh That skirt is not what you need now. , bla bla bla. I mean he be looking for something to compain and at the end of the day you be so stressed out like . What in the world was I thinking? I rather go shopping myself, you can give me the money bla bla but to accompany me, l can go with my girlfriends.
FashionCan You Wear A Bikini? by disney(op): 3:46pm On Aug 14, 2006
From mere observation, l have come to notice that many nigerian girls do not wear a bikini. Even in America and in the Uk, they still tend to cover up.  Why is that so? Is it that we are so shy to flaunt our body or what? This summer, l saw a lot of Nigerian girls going to the beach wearing top and short skirt or jeans and bla bla. It looked so ridiculous in that you can still get a nice bikini and look cute.  There are so many unique styles out there in the stores that tend to do a great deal of covering. Well, l don't know if it is just me that observed this this summer but the ball is in your court.  What do you all have to say about this? huh huh
TravelRe: Nigerians Living The Dream Life Abroad by disney(f): 3:19pm On Aug 14, 2006
Well said but you are still missing one point, at least america tends to equalize some things, hello, many people are jobless in Nigeria, fresh graduate have nothing to do and then end up becoming armed robbers. America might be hard but please lets not forget that it has helped many innocent Nigerians in so many ways Nigerian could not help them. Let's be grateful to God for even giving us the opportunity to come here. Thousand and one are trying to get American visa or Uk visa. It's so hard to get it. So face life in America and forget naija, when you acheive you goal in America, go home and help change life in Nigeria. How can you suceed when your mind is still in Nigeria? Think twice before talking.
BusinessRe: Buffet Business In Nigeria by disney(f): 3:09pm On Aug 14, 2006
@my2cents

That was hilarious , l never really noticed that. Well, that reminds me on my birthday, l went out to eat with my dad and family and my baby sister was so cold that my dad made us eat fast and go. Yeah, right, it's just now l recalled that.lol lol.

Hum buffet business in Nigeria, you kidding me, Not to forget , many Nigerians are hungry. lol

l sorry for the manager of such business, even when it's all you can eat, you going to have people that would eat from morning to night and not go home. Imagine that. As some of my fellow nairalanders said, it either you make the price really expensive and only the rich can come in or either you make the price really low and serve poor quality of food. Well, vice versa, l think its going to contribute to food poisoning in that Mr Nepa may take light. Hello, preserving the food , palava. Just imagine that. huh huh
CareerRe: Can Christians Work On Sundays? by disney(f): 2:59pm On Aug 14, 2006
Interesting topic,
Well, we are now in the modern era; working on sunday is not a crime or a sin. It's condition that makes crayfish bend. Certain jobs in the Uk and America require you to work on sundays whether you like it or not. Some cashiers are forced to work on weekends and are payed overtime for that, Restaurants require workers to work on weekends and mostly weekends is like you make more cash because people eat out a lot on weekends. Not to talk of Doctors, Nurses and cops, you could be on call at any time. So yeah, we all should have time for God but it should not be looked at as a taboo because if certain people did not work on sundays. All would be a stand still in that , you can't buy certain things or do certain things or just imagine a woman giving birth. Hello, you can still work in the morning and go to church at night or vice versa.

NB: It's only in Nigeria that every body must to go to church on sundays and yet they are one of the most corrupt nations in the world. Highest in 419 worldwide.Sorry to say, christianity is action and not whether you go to church or not.

PhonesRe: Your Phone Stolen? Share Your Experience by disney(f): 9:30pm On Aug 07, 2006
Well, maybe l am lucky but l have never been in such a situation as to loose my phone.

it get one of my guy friends from United states wey go naija for xmas. So sha, this guy think say he still de yankee. na so he come enter for one danfo bus, come dress up as in to look cute. Sha, come put him phone for inside back pocket. ( na latest phone be that " blackberry". I no know wetin the guy de think. Come de seat for him phone. Sha, my guy come notice say him phone de missing, come de ask danfo driver someone thief him phone. Danfo driver come de say, you mad, this na common thing, no disturb me jo. Na so , one of them yankee boys come de call my boy for that moment from yankee with ring tone ( yankee ring tone saying shut the mess up , the girl is a hoe by 50 cent) na so my boy come de hear the tone for one fine chick pocket. and o boy , my guy friend's ring tone is loud, the chick come de pretend, na so everybody come de shout to the chick, bring out everything wey de your purse, na so the chick come de bring out everything one by on eand guess what, my guy saw his phone. TV/MoviesRe: Do You Love Or Hate Nigerian Movies? by disney(f): 9:17pm On Aug 07, 2006
Well, l must confess some nigerian movies are quite interesting and some are very very annoying. Well, let's not be fast to make judgements in that our so called naija actresses and actors are trying their very best.

Well, my own true confession , this is how l watch my nigerian movies, l watch beginning, fastforward to the middle and then fast-forward to the end. lol.

I don't waste my time listening to all the shouting and bla bla bla. hello, girl ain't got time for that. So l advise ya alll to do the same. Cheers.

Anyone  wanting to watch an interesting movie, go to www.onlinenigeria.com and watch spirit of love, traumatized, fishers of men, my heart your home. Very interesting. Stay cutie ya all.
TravelRe: Nigerians Living The Dream Life Abroad by disney(f): 8:58pm On Aug 07, 2006
hum, can't stop laughing at this thread. Very interesting topic.

But to be realistic, not every one in yankee is living the american dream but as long as you are in school, focused and hardworking. You would definately get to leave the american dream. its all about patience, hardwork and sacrifice. So no one should please be discouraged in the nairaland house because we are all getting there.

Well, from a female point of view, l would say yankee is kind of better sha as in coming to think of it, you can be independent without having to go and sell you body for money as in most naija campus chicks have to depend on sugar daddies just to be able to buy pancake or sanitary towel. you feeling me ladies in the house. Well, also when it comes to clothes, hair extensions, and all the sweet sexy things we ladies enjoy here, yankee 100%.  ladies with blemishes can use certain products and get to look really well and even medical care has helped a lot of nigerian women to have safe delivery. l know am going out of point but na fact l de yarn. Also, naija can be very frustrating as in u would have to be a graduate/ rich child  just to have a pako car. Excuse me, that era don pass for yankee o.

Cheers.

FamilyRe: How Do You Choose Your Friends? by disney(f): 1:17pm On Jul 19, 2006
interesting topic.

As for disney chick, l am just funny when it comes to meeting friends. l don't look for friends, friends loook for me, l have tons and tons of friends because of my interesting personality so therefore l am not picky but instead l put all my friends into different categories both guys and chicks.  I have my close friends, those one are always there for me anytime, anyday. Then l have some friends that l can just call like lets go shopping, movies, outings, they would be number one to get there. Those are my fun friends. also, l have some friends that l call just because l want to laugh. Those one are in another level. Also, l get some friends wey get money.  l call those  ones when am broke, hungry or need something. They would give me or help me out. also, l get some sophiticated friends, ajebo friends. Those one l call them when  am looking to know what's lattest in fashion , bla bla.

All the same, l cherish everyone because my life won't be cool if one of them were missing. They all in one way help make my day. u know. grin grin grin grin

really funny stories in here. couldn't stop laughing at some of them.

Mine was kind of wierd because u know in America, where they give free stuffs to people like free pens, free caps and all that stuffs, l found myself packing a handful of those stuff because am like free free , I was like daddy for aunty this cap, daddy the pens for cousin this and the toys for my little cousin excitedly, and my daddy corrected me that u don't' do things like that that things are abundant here.

Also, one day l went to KFC/Macdonalds and l was daddy " see the way the coke, is coming out" and my daddy was like it's free . bush girl, l was rushing my food and finishing my drink like say l want die and was going to take free refil in different form. Mixture of coke, pepsi, fanta and sprite, moutain dew all together making concoction of drinks. grin grin grin grin grin grin lol
My sweet father again corrected me . love u daddy.
