Africa the great continent
I am African by nature and proud to be African
Born on the continent of mother Africa is no joke
You might say: I seem to be boasting of my continent Africa
No l am not boasting, when l was a child
I thought being African was a thing of shame but as l grew up from childhood to
Womanhood ,I knew being an African was a thing of joy
Africa is the only continent where the people have the
most beautiful skin tone
You don’t know what you have until you have tasted the soil of a different
Continent

Africa, where all food comes naturally from mother earth
I am not forced to depend on the forces of modern technology to enjoy my life
Which is the greatest assets in a person’s life time
Forget all the lies out there about being African
Because l am African, people mistake me for an African monkey
People ask me everyday, do l live on trees?
Hello: This might sound strange
I come from the most beautiful continent on earth
Africa is not what you think until you have tasted it
You might say , am crazy , how can l taste it
Oooh the joy of the African sun, the music, the dance,  the people, the food, the life,
Everything Africa is my soul, my life, my joy
Whether you like it or not, I am African and that is what l am
As long as you are born on the 4 corners of the African continent
You are African and nothing can take that away
You might change your status or change your name but that does not change the fact that
You were born on the 4 corners of Africa
You are African and that is what you are
Long live the African woman
Long live the children of Africa
Long live the leaders of Africa
Long live our forefathers who suffered for us in Africa
Long live the African continent
Long live Africa.

Racism is Inequality
That's what you are
Why do l say this?
I cry out because everyone at one point in his/her life-time has experienced racism.
People can misjudge you just because of your color
People can mistreat you just because of your race
A person of class can be mistaken for a fool just because of one's race
Racism knows no age or charisma
Racism cares less about one's beauty
Even the beautiful ones experience racism not to talk of the ugly ones
Why is this so?

I look around me and I see that racism is everywhere
Racism is worldwide
What must be done to stop this hatred for one's race
It's only equality and love that can take the place of racism
I don't care whatever you call it
But all l know is that
Racism is as deadly as poison
Racism is loss of a person's self worth
Racism is murder and brutality
Racism must be stopped wherever it is found
I cry out today to the young and the old to prevent racism from occuring in the future and to the younger generations unborn.
