i am still very young.. in my late teens now...the last out of six siblings...done with secondary school....bt couldn't further because of finance....

right now tho...the last thing on my mind is furthering my education ...thing is...i see it as a waste of time and money...even though i intend going back...bt that will be when i have made some cool cash...


so...for at least two years since i rapped up secondary school...i have been working as a sales person for people...with few ups and downs once in a while...


then...the opportunity to join the Nigerian police came...right at the peak of a frustrating time...so i thought less before registering for constable cadre....went through all the processes...and now am selected...#do note that i did this with little or no help from anyone...so i think the selection this time is on merit#



bt the problem now is that...i have a bigger dream...i intend going into business if my brother will help...the NPF..tho is good bt..then wont give me the financial buttress that i aim for...

their salary scale is quite poor...imagine making sales of eighty thousand naira in 3days for my present boss...thats like the salary of an inspector...and we all know how long it takes to get to this rank....17 to 20 yrs.. just to be paid that amount...its quite dis-heartening... i blv starting a business will be more fruitful than joining the force...


bt on the other hand...i have no serious capital to start a business and i dont know if my brothers will be willing to support me financially...am quite skeptical about that...


so thats were the confusion sets in...i might reject the offer and my brothers may later disappoint me...i might take the job...bt will not be fulfilled knowing i would have been making much more money doing business.....



pls what is the best thing to do on this issue ??

Join the NPF further ur education to degree level using national open University of Nigeria and then start ur business. It is foolish for you to think education is a waste and at barely 20 making money shld not b ur only priority. Educating urself after taking this job shld b ur priority so u can grow on the job.

If u reject the NPF offer BC of its initial little salary u will regret it forever, d job offers u financial security with no uncertainty dts d best part.

Chai this one is outrageous fuel consumption even a 5.7l v8 will ve more fuel economy.

3k fuel @ 145 is over 20l ie 20l covers 20km ie 1l per km

If that is the Maximum temperature your engine can put out ,that is rather low ,the optimum temperature is btw 92-95 centigrade. Your car will definitely takes a longer time to achieve close loop which will spell doom for your engine in in the long run and cause high fuel consumption .
Just ensure your fan is connected to default setting for your engine to gain more heat and connect your thermostat back if it is not operation but before you go ahead with this scheme ,ensure your coolant integrity is intact so that car will not start to overheat after all this has been done .

I really can't tell which rule I broke, maybe using one bank account details to run two MMM account. But I've already reported the matter and they replied me telling me that I'm under MORATORIUM that soon my case would be resolved. They also told me not to write another ticket again, that the 1st one is enough to use in settling the matter. I checked all this today and they assured me that there's no cause for alarm. Anyways bro, thanks for the encouragement, it's peole like u dat makes nairaland look civilized and exciting. I requested to provide help of 25,000 on saturday october 29th 2016 and it was well processed after I had paid in. Being my 1st time of investing, The whole amount came out 39,000 i.e inclusive of 30% + bonus for 1st comers. Fast forward to thursday november 24th 2016, I logged in and requested to get help i.e withdraw my money. After clicking the get help icon, it showed me that I should wait patiently, that my request was being processed. I logged out & log in again and clicked on the dashboard, yet the request was still processing without them(MMM) matching with anybody to pay me just yet. Since that thursday till today being 1st of december, my request to get help of #39,000 is still being processed without me being matched for anybody to pay me. As I'm writing this, I'm really confused. That money is actually meant to pay my house rent in school ( student of uniport, political & admin studies, final year). I've writen a report to MMM & they claim to be running an administrative security check. I've tried to cancel the request, still no way. People have told me that I'ld get back my money, but I'm worried cox it seems like all this is fruitless. U will get ur money for sure after serving 2weeks of temporary ban for breaking one mmm rule I can guess the rule u broke, u tried to change your profile detail 24hrs b4 u GH dts a no no on mmm

U needed to be guided on mmm to avoid getting a temporary moratorium or forever ban thank God you got the former

In the mean time create a ticket and write support immediately, relax I can bet my right hand that ur money is safe I ve been through dt route.

Kole came back last night with the devastating news he has been trying to keep away from me for two weeks… The company Is downsizing. I should have guessed with the turbulence in the oil market and the cries of recession. I should really have been more prepared. Yes I listened to the news and also read about such things in the newspapers but I never thought it could affect Kole. Now he has lost his job. My husband, Kole, works hard. His promotion in the oil servicing firm has been very rapid and that got us within a few years to living in this exclusive part of town as an official residence. My husband is in his prime. He had everything under control and with the huge respect he enjoyed in his office, it was expected that he would be made the Managing Director in the next few years.

As I moved about the garden, touching some of the lovely flowers, I began to reflect upon the implication of this. We have not built a house (we were waiting for the right location), we travel about thrice a year or more, the children attend the best schools… OMG! I almost screamed as the tears began to tumble down again. What would we do? The school fees is huge! What would friends say? How will I face them? Changing schools is the first indication that the status of the family has changed. I chose those schools based on our income and the kind of people we want to associate with. I wanted a school that would align with our status and now everything has changed. Being very realistic, I know that such high-paying jobs do not come easily and we would need to take some hard decisions.

I am trying to imagine the effect of this on our three children aged between 6 and 12. How can I manage their emotions to ensure that they are not destabilized? With the benefit of hindsight, we made a lot of wrong decisions. We thought the income would always keep rising and our ‘piggy bank’ is not exactly healthy. My major worry is how do I manage the children in this traumatic period – change of home, school, lifestyle

Please my people, my people. this is my first time of ever creating a thread & so this shows how important this is to me.. i have alwayz dreamt of buying my parents a car(they 've never had any) & this DEC. wld b a perfect time to gift them one as a wedding anniversary present, but unfortunately I've got only 300k home & abroad... in fact something happened sometime in September to make me want to buy a car for them more than ever. I travelled home to join them to attend a cousin's traditional marriage in another town, I asked them how they intend to go there, they told me an uncle of mine said he wil b attending as well, so they wld b joining him in his car.. on the said, I, my parents & I another cousin got to my uncle's place, d mother said that d car can't take everyone. I looked at d car, it was a jeep(didn't bother knowing d name) & it was 8 seaters that cld actually take extra one person or even 2.. we were not even up to 8, we were 7, but she insisted that my other cousin shld go back(she bn d youngest)..when my mum tried to plead, my dear she was given d insult of her life & asked to go get her own car, so she can carry anyone she wants to carry..tears welled up in my eyes & I vowed again to get them a car this year(meanwhile, that wasn't the first time they were insulted,but don't wanna go into all that).

now this money is all I hv got & the year is fast running out, & I still want to make this dream come through, so please, if there is any one that has a good car to sell or knows anyone that wants to sell for that amount, please let me know... Or anyone that wants to gift my parents a car for their anniversary, my dear, it's will be appreciated.. Lol.
