This online networking platform was encourage savings. And with much fast growing speed. But now it is a great disaster to the economy. All a youth needs is just a startup capital imagine the interest rate of 1million naira after a month to you get 300 thousand naira. This is an incentive to laziness and discourages production. This would have been a nice financial platform in a closed economy but currently the youth of today participate in all this how with one aim to get a car, change attires or get an iPhone. All the money generated will be going out of Nigeria without production to at least choke these lickages more money leaving Nigeria without any coming into reducing the value of other currencies in relation to naira due to increase imports accompanied with less or no production ...pleading with those in authority to look into this Op get away ode

kngblacq: Hello, Nairalanders. I don't know if this is the right section to post this but i will go ahead. I'm a young guy that have been very unhappy recently due to things happening to me. I gained admission into a tertiary institution in Nigeria(State owned) in 2011( i was 16 then). But since then, i have been battling with one problem or the other in the school, some which includes, Absence of matric number throughout my 100 level, No record found during my 300 level and many other problems. I managed to overcome all this challenges. I finished my 4 year course by early 2015( strike issue), I was happy untill i was called back that my result was rejected at the Senate because i didn't register for a course in my 200 level. I went back to write this course and passed, I was hoping that i would be mobilized for NYSC this batch b 2016 but an error was made with my matric number and i couldn't register again. Whereas, most of my colleagues are through with NYSC and moved on with their life and I'm here stucked at one point, all this has started affecting me that i can't even think straight, people are making it worse for me by asking questions like.. "Why are you still at home? You sure say you go school, e don reach 2 years wey you finish and you still dey house, even my Parents sometimes abuse me that your mate are no longer at this point and you are still here, all this have been making me unhappy and I'm afraid i will do something I'm not supposed to do. I'm the type of guy that don't believe things like village people are behind this, one mama from the village bla bla bla because I'm not a religious guy and i don't go to church or mosque ( but i believe their is a God somewhere) but people are making it seem like all this is happening because I don't pray and all. I don't even know what to believe or do anymore, I'm depressed. Pls advice me. . Better learn to pray and take ur prayer life seriously |

Investment › Re: The Inevitable Implosion Of The Ponzi Scheme "MMM" -progress69 by divinelove(m): 1:10am On Nov 17, 2016 |
progress69: Hello Nairalanders,
I was compelled to write this article after reading several comments on social media about MMM.
I usually think it was a difficult thing to brainwash people, but I just discovered that its very easy especially when money is involved. It is alarming to see even graduates can't even think with their brains.
I want to state categorically, no matter any English used to quote the MMM scheme, be it Donation platform, helping forum platform, Investment platform, whatever it is called, MMM is a ponzi scheme. I also want to state categorically, putting banners or disclaimers like B&H or White London cigarette, or any other cigarette brand that "Smokers are liable to die young" does not stop people from smoking, hence putting "Use only spare money" on MMM website will not stop people from using their live savings or borrowing for the scheme. Using this as a justification to promote the scheme is therefore null and void.
MMM did not just penetrate Nigeira without having foot soldiers. They definitely have done their homework in connivance with Nigerians as they would have done in other countries.
Why?
In my humble opinion, its a nasty lie and big deceit that MMM does not have accounts hence your money can never be stolen by MMM. Why is this? There is no way the inflow of cash into the scheme will be the same as the out flow. There must be a deficit or an overage. This brings the need for accounts where excess mavros will be mopped into in case of an overage. I understand there are other bonuses such can be channeled into but how can one sincerely track that. This is where the Nigerian foot soldiers come in. In the case of deficits, we see a crash, a pause, or delay in matching participants.
MMM's owner being an ex convicted fraudster can recruit Nigeiran foot soldiers from the Dark web. These are websites you don't see on search engines and usually require softwares and configurations to access. This is were you find hackers, gun runners, drugs cartel, big time fraudsters, child porn syndicates, gamblers, whistleblowers etc. Some Nigerians are members of some of this groups and cartels on the dark web hence recruitment of foot soldiers to open proxy accounts to assist in the fraud is never a problem.
Take a look at this scenario;
If i am an Admin in MMM, all i need to do is match a prospective helper to my foot soldier whose profile is controlled by me the admin. You as a participant dont even know if the profile matched to you as provided help before in the past or not. You simply believe whatever you see as put by the admin on such profiles.
It is very possible that MMM is already ripping and skinning participants alive without them knowing. Foot soldiers accounts who have never provided help can be matched with ignorant helpers. If this is done, money is being mopped out of the system gradually till the system fails. That is a possible scenario.
Secondly, in my Opinion MMM is being watched and silently investigated by international intelligence agencies just like they do to drug cartels, child porn syndicates, Credit card fraudsters. Unlike EFCC and DSS in Nigeria, where arrests are made before investigations, agencies like the FBI will take their time, gather evidence and strike to nail the coffin once and forall. MMM crash may not even be a Nigeria thing, it is going to be global.
No sane government, i repeat no sane government will watch her citizens idle away cycling money in a ponzi scheme which have zero benefits to the economy and will crash and hurt her citizens someday. Recycling money within a clan of greedy participants, without no real capital investments is killing an Economy rather than helping it.
Telling John to pay James, while he waits for minimum of 2 weeks for Peter to pay him too with 30% profit or Reward as being touted by MMM promoters and on and on like that, will definitely implode right on your face. The money goes within participants and not into any form of capital investments to yield profit. Excess pledged mavros definitely ends up somewhere.
Where is that?
If MMM wants to close shop and bolt off with money today, all that is needed is to match targeted helpers (probably the ones with larger amounts) with accounts of foot soldiers to provide help to. Ideally you have no business with whoever you provided help to once confirmed, so you can't really hold anyone responsible, should the website fail to open tomorrow.
In conclusion, MMM WILL crash either by self implosion or by international/local intelligence agencies intervention and many will loose money. Particularly the very greeedy ones and the newbies.
Reccession is not an excuse to be greedy, fact remains, Recession or Not, People will still participate in ponzi schemes for quick riches!
Thanks and God bless

Business › Re: How The MMM Owner Makes Huge Money At Your Expense by divinelove(m): 7:26pm On Nov 16, 2016 |
1x2x3: I know most people think the system is transparent since you pay directly to other participants and no central bank or something.
Now here is a little insight that will give you clue and when I say Russians scam smartly you will agree with me. I may not be completely accurate but close.
First he introduces MMM to a Country, sets the website up with initial investment let's say 5 to 10Million as capital which will be used to pay 30% interest to first few participants. Once these participants gets paid the first few months the news will spread and more participants will join. At this point the system is a bit stable and the participants will be the ones paying interest to each other through automatic matching by the system.
When the system is stable he strikes and this is the process. First he owns the website and have total control of profiles. For a normal participant you Provide help and wait 30days to get 30% interest. Which means you can't Request help if you don't provide help......... That's for normal user.
Now think of this. He hires 10 to 20 super admins which are the core members who knows what's up. This 20 Super admins creates 20 profiles and granted privileges that allows them to Request Help without providing help. Mind you this system is not transparent enough for users to know who receives help without providing. So these Super admins on daily basis will continue to be matched with people who provides Huge amounts........Viola!!! Free cash will continue to flow in.
Now this is what will likely crash it at some point. They will keep Receiving Help from People donating millions while we the participants pay this donors back with interest. It will get to a point the little donors won't be capable of filling the vacuum left and boom!!! It crashes.
I'm a member of MMM and it works but it's complete scam. At the end the winner will be the owner who must have made billions and the old time participants. If a transparent system can be created which will allow the database to be audited then it will last for so many years. If u have common sense u won't worry abt this BC after abt 3 and half months of providing help with same amt you won't have anything to lose again as you must have broken even on mmm. Nw mmm is close to 12months in naija already. Life is a risk |

Now back to your tirades.

*You have wasted the last 9 years of your Nairaland history. It is not too late to change from this path of damnation. Change your ways. This is borne out of the 'divine love' that i have for you.

Denn: The OP is a scammer.
This is an old trick used by scammers all over.
Remember those people who dupe passers-by at our bus stops or in taxis? There is always someone who acts like he is a passerby too or a passenger. He plays the game and wins, then encourages you to play.
For all I know, he might be behind all those fake monikers selling these cars everywhere.
He was told it is a scam and he kept defending. He always has a subtle response trying to tell to give them a chance...
*Spits on thread and walks off....comes back and decides to deposit a tonne of turd for op to munch on* if u dont have anything to say you better shut up your mouth than call someone names my moniker is almost 9years on NL and u dare call it a scammer. i have not seen anywhere i have asked anyone to buy these cars, i only brought it here to see if i can get anyone with experience on the matter, which is the purpose of a forum of this nature. only a complete id.iot like you without common sense will go abt calling ppl names ode |
