Disgrace... These politicians in givt do not really care for their people. The same goes for the Mosque, churches and big enterprises. Gone are the days when we had social responsibility from these groups. I weep for the generation yet unborn. They will face worse than this if this is not cheked.

What does your contract states? If it says you should give them a month notice before quiting, then you should respect the contract. Simple as that. If you didn´t sign any contract, then you can ignore their threat and emplow a lawyer if they insist on going to court.

i believe though, that it is only an empty threat because the cost of engaging a lawyer and the court costs will end up being higher than your salary. And this will not be worth the trouble for them.

The sources of generation has not been improved with time. Obsolete generation process that we have. We never moved with the trend and changes in that industry as seen in most countries.
The distribution cables and poles are so old (most are from the 70´s). The transformers are another thing.
The whole power sector needs a re-structuring just like Nigeria.

Also, why are private individuals not allowed to generate their own power and sell what they can´t use? In western world, this is the practice. Even some goverment buys from these private individuals.
